I have always thought race refers to people who share a common physical characteristic e.g skin colour, which we all have in common in Nigeria. I stand to be corrected though.

Better check with your bank. The limit for daily foreign currency transactions has reduced drastically for some banks.

You will need to re-order the NARIC statements. You cannot use the old one.

Not necessarily. However if you are in a role/job where your employer requires it urgently, then you may use the Super Priority. The rule of the thumb however is that as long as you submit your application (best to also attend the Biometrics) before the current visa expires, you are covered. If your employer is fussy, they just need to check your details on the ECS.

Also "not necessarily". If you submit your application early (about a month before your visa expires), you may be lucky to get a free date for your desired/availability. The period of your application also matters. If it is not a busy period (December, June, July, August), then you may be just fine as well and not bother about the hassle of getting a free date.

Though they advise that you submit just the last 2 years but I submitted from my date of entry into the Country. More will NEVER hurt.

Submitted one type (across 4/5 sources) for each Quarter.

For account statements, I submitted just the lats 6 months (note though that I applied as "Employed" Category A).

I have less than 2 years on my visa (tier 2), planning to renew though. Can I apply for 2 years visitor visa for my mum? She applied for the 6 months last year and was granted. Is it advisable to go for the 2 years or just do 6 months?

I did same for my mum, visit visa would have gone beyond expiry of my temp visa, had months left. She planned to stay a few weeks but was refused; one of the reasons given my visa was running out and there was no guarantee for renewal. This was last year. Woman that travels every year.

Best add enough evidence of strong ties to home. I think sometimes depends on the case handler and what side of the bed he or she wakes up on.

The scheme is for those already on the medical field who are not doctors ie nurses, paramedics, etc who want to be doctors

There are so many opportunities in Amazon at the moment. From team lead to shift managers , Internet technology, Engineering and so on. It depends on the level you entered. I recommended picking and packing cause she needs something to do that will be bringing income immediately rather than staying at home without nothing as she is still new in the country..again, when you have a blue badge in Amazon, after one year, They will pay for 95% of your tuition fee for a selected course ranging from health care to it, businesses management and human resources.

I know, I literarily just quit as blue badge from Amazon early this month. For the picking and packing role you recommended, there will be lifting.

But it's great to no longer depend on buses and uber.

Congratulations, don't go and jam anybody and don't let anybody jam you for insurance sake. If you are involved in a colission no go report yourself to insurance whether you are at fault or not else your insurance go double. If possible send with the other party.

Was there recently, they asked wether you want it mailed to you or you want to pick up. If you go for the mail option, they'll give you a royal mail mailing bag and you'll have to go to the post office to pay,seems they have a deal with royal mail, return the bag and hopefully they'll send the passport to you. I went with the pickup option, don't want stories that touch.
