I have read it. The document does not apply to spouse visa.
If you believe it does, please kindly point me to the section that does.

Is this based on experience?

From what I now understand, the spouse visa has no specific limits on absences. If there are absences, then it should be for goo reason.

Good day house I am new on this forum. Please I will like to ask those of you living in the UK if anybody is aware of the new EU settlement scheme going on now in the UK? I am asking on behalf of my friend in Nigeria. She just told me that her hubby in the uk just applied for the settlement scheme. She said that as soon as the hubby gets it, he will apply for spouse visa for her from Nigeria. Please I want to ask if the EU settlement status holds weight like the ILR? Can one use it to apply for spouse visa for the wife? The wife lives here in Nigeria why the hubby was a non EEA family with retained right of residence visa for five years. The hubby av spent more than five years in the UK. But the hubby av divorced his ex-spouse since 2014 and came to Nigeria in 2016 to marry my friend. My friend has been waiting for his hubby to get his permanent since 2016 but he got refused for permanent residence last year so he just applied for this new settlement scheme. So my question now is if he gets this ILR via this new EU scheme can he use it to apply for spouse visa under the UK immigration rules of meeting the finance requirements on 18,600 pounds and other requirements? I await your responses house. Many thanks

MrsDutse:
Good evening everyone, hope you are all keeping well.

My husband submitted his application on-line for FLR M on Friday, 3rd of May, 2019 (priority option). He tried endlessly to book an appointment in Croydon for the 9th of May, 2019 online but he kept on getting an error message saying "We are currently experiencing issues, please try again". In the end, he had to call the customer service number and he has been booked in for the 23rd of May, 2019

I got my employment letter from HR which is dated the 25th of April and my payslips and bank statements from November 2018 to April 2019. Now, my question is.....are my documents within the 28 days rule from when my husband submitted his application (3rd of May, 2019) or from the date when my employment letter was written. I get paid on the last Friday of each month, will my April payslip also be ok?

I am quite confused at the moment sad
You should still be able to upload documents until biometrics are taken. When I did mine, was asked if I was happy for them to submit.

Couldn't you get "priority" appointment for biometrics, costs an extra £100 if slots are available

Hello group,
Just a question- it normal for home Office to return original documents without not requesting Biometric fingerprint yet?

Saying in the letter that electronically stone in database and a decision will be made in due course

Getting to worry now
Your querry is not clear. Do you mean biometrics not in database? Your biometrics must be done before decision is made.

Good day house

Thanks everyone for your selfless service here
I am about to apply for my spouse visa and I have some question classification.
(Though I have read through the thread)

1. Do hubby need to pay for health insurance for me before applying?

2. We got married January this year. Is it too early to apply. Traditional wedding August 2018.

3. Hubby just got a new job which he started 2months ago, though he was working and earning well In his previous job.

Please gurus help me throw more light into this.
Thanks and God bless u all.
1. The IHS is part of the application, you cannot submit your application without paying the IHS fees

2. No

3. He will need to submit a year's worth of payslips 10 months from former employer and 2 months from present employer and bank statement where his salary/wages were paid. Make sure earnings for the year above financial requirement. Probably letter from former and present employer stating payslips are fenuine

3 lessons ke ... ... Forget those parking and exits wey we dey do for naija oo. By the time you are asked to do parallel/reserve parking or a massive around-about with like 6 exits and to take the 4th exit keeping to your lane grin grin, you will want to take more lessons.

Yea I took lessons and lost count after failing the 2nd as I just wanted to get it done for work purposes.
i passed on the first try, thank God, in one of the areas with the highest failure rate in the UK. About five minutes into the test, i made a mistake and i thought that was it, i just told myself calm down and finish, dont put yourself under pressure. At the end of the test, two or three mistakes later, i passed. nearly hugged and kissed the assessore and my instructor.

Dont be in a hurry and dont try to impress the assessor. Anytime i was given an instruction, i repeated it to the assessor to make sure i got the correct instruction and God answered my prayer that i should not be asked to parrallel park or reverse around the corner, those were my weakest points. keep two hands on the steering, always look into your mirrors before any manouver - very important- and make it obvious by moving your neck not just your eyes.

All the best with your tests. My motivation to get it right the first time was the cost of practice and the cost of the test.

Hi house, can some please Help
Please can I get advise on this? Am on spouse visa issued sept 2016 and expires June 2019 was checking the govt website on renewal process and I also saw an information about indefinate leave to remain process. My question is am i qualified to apply for indefinite leave to remain or I need to do the other 2.5 years extension first on my spouse visa. But the leave to remain has 5 years route , 2 years route and 10years route and I was asking my spouse what if mine is the 2 years route spouse visa and can apply for indefinite leave to remain. He said go and ask the guru's in niaraland they will know exactly what you sld do. So please help and how early can I apply for renewal? 6 months to or 3 months to?
(
You are in the 5 year route for spouse visas. You will need to apply for t the flr for another 2.5 years then you v can apply for the ilr when those 2.5 years are up. If your site is a British citizen you can apply for citizenship immediately you get the ilr.
