stephanie11:With the way the northern Muslim conservative Hawks are fuming over the well taken decisions of the southern governors to tow the path of benue governor ortom to completely ban open grazing,it certainly means the decision is hitting them at the right spot n the decision was the right one,the governors should stay firm n remain very resolute hopefully this might just lead to true solution to the problem, anytime on listen to comments from the Hawks over this issue, instead of arguing from a legal, economic or moral point they always focus on threats but that is clearly failing,it would be better if they realize that earlier before it would be too late. |
Grayoso:yes you are right, but a great opportunity awaits the fulanis if they could just reason deep n realistically but they are being decieved, they will surely realize their fooly when it shall be too late, the southern states n benue just need to stay firm n remain resolute in their resolve. |
Kenturkey048:A damage garbage. |
Grayoso:The fulanis are missing a great opportunity n inadvertently opening up ways for others which will eventually affects them negatively, nobody Denies the fulanis citizenship but they can't claim ownership of the country's whole land, the fulanis don't have to rear their cows everywhere before they can sell their cows n products nation wide, open grazing is certainly no longer feasible everywhere in Nigeria, yes ranching is surely capital intensive, animal husbandry is no doubt a private business. The fear of most ethnic groups and communities in Nigeria is feelings that the fulanis would eventually take over their lands n dominate them right in their domains and nationally these feelings are certainly not without precedence or can they wave off,so what should the fulanis do?,the fulanis should accept the ranching proposal but request that the states with federal government support should establish the ranches, drow up the rules governing them, provide the amenities and security while they register n use the ranches for payment of fees, just the same way states governments built markets n rent out the shops to traders of all backgrounds, the northern states with fulanis as indeginous population should be in the forefront of the scheme, this way the fulanis shall maintain their dominance of the business, more n better opportunities will come their way n everyone will be happy. But the present quest of having their way by force through clandestine federal support is legally n morally wrong, unacceptable n untenable, gradually a coalition is being built up against them, the repercussions will be devastating, those decieving them that the country can't do without the fulanis should realize that others can rear cattles too it's just a matter of time n will, cattle meat can easily be imported, fulanis are in no position to hold Nigeria to ransom taking away political power, they should think deep before it's too late. |
aminulive:sometimes it's better to just keep mute n watch things turn out,you can not be too sure of tommorow. |
fergie0o1:Adamu Garba did you attend the burial yourself? |
kestolove95:You lie, even from the concocted story it was written that Toungo is the be HQs of toungo LGA,how many lies are you going to fabricate to defend your hate for Atiku?,una no get shame? |
adenigga:The Tiv people are just disgracing themselves, the fulanis now feels they can always have their way against the disorganized Tiv,how can the fulanis be chasing n killing the Tiv people in Nassrawa n Taraba states n then in their home land state of benue, imagine fulanis killing people on the outskirts of makurdi unchallenged!,the tiv people should rise up and proof that they are the acclaimed warriors or is it that they are warriors on the bed n with beer bottles only?, governor ortom on his part should work to transform the benue livestock guards into BENUE LIVESTOCK AND COMMUNITY GUARDS n procure PA guns for them to defend vulnerable communities while the communities also join hands with them to secure their land, the federal government under buhari will never help the Tiv people against fulani that is certain, benue people especially the Tiv can choose to wait for government help at their own peril. |
November1857:It's alright, time n events shall tell. |
kestolove95:The story is just a concocted lie to insult Atiku,Atiku is from Jada n not toungo, you people should get your facts right before choosing to run the devil's errand. |
Golan007:where is Atiku actually from,is it ganye, jada or now toungo?, I'm feeling this is just an attempt to insult Atiku out of hate. |
HONESTFACT101:No one should celebrate ISWAP's victory n the demise of shekau,in fact the Nigerian armed forces especially the army should be ashamed of itself,ISWAP with their international connections are certainly going to be much more deadly than Boko Haram, Nigeria n Nigerians should just sit up for the worst coming, just imagine what the country has degenerated to,yet some fools will decieving themselves that nigeria is better today under buhari but we all feel the pains. |
owukpa:what the fulanis are doing to the Tiv farmers in Nassrawa n Taraba state is pre-planned n supported by the powers that be in the north as a punishment for stubbornly refusing to allow free grazing of cows on their land in benue state, the fact is the Tiv are massive Farmers n the land in benue is not enough for their growing population, this is why the Tiv people are the largest migrating farmers in Nigeria, they can be found in large numbers in Taraba, Nassrawa, Niger n kogi states leasing lands to farm, yet the fulanis feeling that they own the north want to force the Tiv people to give up the little land they have in benue for free grazing at the detriment of the Tiv people,I think governor ortom should legally change the benue livestock guards into BENUE LIVESTOCK AND COMMUNITY GUARDS n procure PA guns for them to truly enforce the benue anti open grazing law n defend their lands, the Tiv people should also organize themselves and defend thier land like the yorubas n igbos, they shouldn't count on the government for help as that would never come under buhari for obvious reasons, the fulanis n their kinsmen in the north keep twisting the interpretation of the Constitution to insist on Rights they are no entitled for,yet they would never seek legal redress but results to threats n voilence because they are sure of support from the top,no one is fighting in kano because of shariah/HISBAH but the fulanis would never obey the laws of other states, ortom should back up his utterances with action n defend his people,if local government can do it in the south east then surely a state government with determination can surely do it. |
aaa14bd1083:yes it's good but it should be applicable to all at every level,El rufai should have suggested this to Apc before 2019 presidential primaries, but does the law approves of this? |
Kewtt:The man is surely wrong but this look very much like a set up to take him down, those who produce the vedio should also be investigated for true justice. |
Odewaleadesoye:This baba ijesha's past may be very suspicious but it appears this was a set up.those whose voices was heard in the background of the vedio should also be investigated for true justice. |
Iamdemola1: |
ogbiwa:can this be done in Saudi Arabia,Iran or even Egypt? |
fergie001:I don't know how Benue people especially the Tiv how they are reasoning the herdsmen attacks against them, but it's clear that the fulanis has declared war on them due to the anti open grazing law in the state n by implication the refusal to hand over their lands to the fulanis, ekiti state under fayose was the first state to ban open grazing but the fulanis never dare to do what they are doing in benue in the south west but because Benue is in the north n the state people especially the Tiv has refused to accept Islam n fall under fulani dominance and control they must be subdued at all cost, it's an agenda that's back up in high places n the Tiv people should not expect anything other than lip service from this federal government, they should organize themselves and defend their lands n lives or get killed n become slaves disgracefully. |
PrinceGallant:Islamic terror groups will always cook up an excuse for their heinous acts but the real truth is that it's all about global Islamic jihad, conquest n dominance n nothing else, the ideas of US hegemony, the Palestinian problem etc only offers good pretext for them. |
PrinceGallant:please get your facts right, Islamic terror groups such as TALIBAN,AL QUAEDA,HISBOLLAH,HAMAS,AL SHABAB,ABU ZAYYAF,etc were all in existence Long before 9/11. |
PrinceGallant:I don't agree with you, please don't equate terrorism with peaceful pursuit of aspirations, were do you see christians bombing n killing people just because they are not christians?,if your logic is to be followed then buhari don't have to sanction pantami because they are all Muslims desiring the success of their faith by whatever means!. |
oshozondii:All the insßsecurity problems nigeria is facing today are directly the fault of president buhari, when buhari came to power he claimed he was for everyone but it soon became crystal clear that he was n is still for some people specifically his fulani kinsmen n fellow northern Muslims, shortly after buhari came to power his fulani herdsmen brothers became very bold n went on an orgy of violent attacks across many states notably benue, plateau, taraba etc killing n causing widespread destructions,no serious action was n has been taken against these herdsmen, eventually the attacks spread to the SW SE,the SWgovernors strategize n formed AMETOKUN (SWSN) the SE governors foot draged giving Nnamdi kanu led IPOB to create ESN,now the ESN unlike their AMETOKUN counterpart became very aggressive in their conduct brandishing sophisticated prohibited arms n even engaging the military in confrontation, the police has already been weakened by the aftermath of endsars protest which was very badly manage by buhari's administration, now the security problem in the SE is getting worse with very unpredictable consequences I'm sure that the only reason why a major offensive has not been launch in the SE is the fear of fighting on two fronts i.e against Boko Haram in the NE n against ESN in the SE,in this lacuna the ESN may have seen an opening n probably building up their arsenal with effective portable military hardwares such as MANPADS,RPG,GPMG etc the future is looking really dangerous for Nigeria no thanks to buhari's sentiments and bias, instead of true national leadership he was more concerned about RUGA, cattle colony, taking over of inland water bodies all for fulani herdsmen benefits only,I have said it before n I will say it again that it shall be the north that shall push it luck too far that would eventually led to the break up of the country. |
naptu2:FIFA/UEFA banning them might just be the catalyst for the formation of a rival world football body probably it will be named CIFA(confederation of international football associations) n thus break the Monopoly of FIFA. |
fergie001:Please I need a clarification about these late soldiers, there's the rumours that those soldiers were procured by a retired general to protect his country home rather than being on any legal official operation before they were caught by the militia in konshisha but if this rumour is a lie n the soldiers were officially deployed were the local government chairmen of the Waring communities duely informed, what happened is certainly painful n condemnable but somethings doesn't just add up about the whole affair, anyone with an idea please? |
DaddyRochie1642:If the reverse were to be the case, would it still be funny?be very sincere with yourself please. |
film3four:This obaseki self na wah oh for am,if not buhari the president who else should Nigerians blame then? buhari promised Nigerians elderaldo knowing fully well he lacks the academic intelligence n general know how to fix the problems of the country,to him every problem was corruption n indescipline that can solve by the military mentality of order n obedience, being very sentimental, bigoted n biased buhari has only made the country the worse for it yet obaseki wouldn't want Nigerians to blame buhari squarely,I said it n I still stand by my opinion that Atiku was n is by far better than buhari, this is just a tip of the iceberg the real rot would be exposed by the time buhari leaves Aso rock,I don't know who the shock Will kill then buhari or Nigerians!. |
naptu2:It's ok then, it's just much adi about nothing after all, meanwhile something keep telling me that, all the desperation to destroy Atiku n deny him the presidency at all cost is because of his political n business experience, nationalistic posture, strong convictions n independence which will make him not easily controllable but the man might just be our rejected building stone after all. |
valentineuwakwe:But if Atiku was a citizen of any territory by birth n that territory is subsequently transferred to Nigeria by whatever legal means doesn't it automatically legally follow that all his rights and entitlement have also been transferred to Nigeria? |
Orubebe01:1.Rejig the intelligence gathering security services to up thier game n provide credible n actionable information,2.Restructure the security apparatus to give it a true national spread n appoint the best hands without sentiments to do the job,3.Acquire simple but effective high tech security equipment such as night vision devices, micro sounds/vibration detectors, drones etc for our security personnel,4.Restructure the police n use all legal process to allow their op units such as the MOPOL CTU to use weapons such as GPMG RPG N HAND BLAST GRENADES, this will empower the police to handle most of the light security threats n also support the military properly while freeing the military to face the heavier security threats,5.Ensure that every security personnel is trained in weapon handling n every security establishment has an operational unit that can be quickly coopted to effectively support security operations, these are what I will immediately priorities among other measures. |
AfriNotesNEWS:Let an analysis of the inmates to be carried out to zero in on the gang likely to have carry out these attacks,I believe the attack was meant to free some persons held behind bars the attack on the police was simply diversionary n to prevent police response, this tactics has been use by criminals repeatedly, it's also time all security formation n buildings are fenced n their security upgraded, all security personnel also should be living in barracks n not in rented apartments within civilians. |
