dabossman:Hmm! That's true sadly. |
It's embarrassing reading some of the comments here. It reeks of ignorance or probably outright mischief. It was in the news (including Yahoo, CNN, BBC etc) when some of the girls that escaped immediately after the capture were taken to US and others given scholarship by Atiku Abubakar to attend his secondary school in Yola and subsequently the university. It's really disturbing that many young people have no patience to read and learn before commenting on issues that they know nothing about. Anyone who has spent two years in school in the US will speak English obviously. For those who believe it's a scam, beware of spiritual consequences if it is true as some of believe it is. Those affected are heartbroken each time their source of sadness is regarded as a scam. It's wiser to keep quiet and allow God to reveal the truth to you in due season instead of attracting curses to yourselves. May we never experience the types of horrible attacks at FGC Bunu Yadi and Govt. Girls College, Chibok again. May God protect our children wherever they go. Amen |
serubawon:Congrats to you and Olori! HML |
I'm happy that she has a chance to stay away from Nigeria. I feel sorry for her. Its such a sad thing to happen to a young lady - probably beyond her control then. I didnt watch the video. The comments were depressing enough. May God comfort and uplift her. May her test become a testimony in due course. Amen. |
Hmmm! Remember Nospecto Oil and Gas that had a specific line of business with an almost 10% monthly yield. Many others followed suit mostly using the pyramid scheme with no verifiable business transactions to justify the payouts. They all started this way and ended badly. Few people made money and many others lost heavily especially those who put in their gratutities believing that they were investing in a genuine business (Nospetco). There are still cases in court on some of them while CBN has declared most dead and bankrupt. He who has ears, let him hear. |
Lovely shoes! Great girl!! |
Rooneyboy:Aeesha Collections 08092718489 She's on Instagram @ aeeshacollections_page |
Sirrexninefour:Exactly! It's their choice and there's freedom of religion in Nigeria. No need to compare or complain on matters like this. |
EternalBeing:God bless you more after your deliverance. |
bakynes:Dele Giwa was from Edo state not Ife. |
May God answer Fatima Musas prayers by bringing her daughter back. Amen To those who say it's a scam, I pray that such evil does not befall you. Speaking evil of suffering people is bad. Learning the hard way is often very traumatic. Better to keep quiet when you have nothing meaningful to say. |
Different strokes for different folks. Sometimes it's all about attitude. If you pray to have a good daughter in-law and plan to be a good mother in-law then you should strive to be good to your MIL. Never go into marriage with a biased view. Many MILs are demonised before they're introduced based mostly on generalisation. Why not reflect on your future and imagine someone telling you to get lost after many years of love and labor on your child? That's not to say it's right for a mother to be overbearing in the life of a grown child. Me? Never had problems with my MIL. Mutual respect is key. |
lastmessenger:You can't leave till the end of your contract once you start. He won't even have access to his international passport! @Poster Go to Law school. Don't become an ordinary labourer struggling in extreme Dubai heat. Cost of living is high for foreigners. There are some Nigerian professionals there too but you require some years of experience to be recruited as such. Lots of scammers pretending to be agents too. Many of the young Nigerians there are not finding things easy. I felt so sad talking to a few guys who went with high hopes and ended up as hustlers. A word is enough for the wise. |
Wow! Very well done!! We always thought these veggies can only grow in the North. Are they organically grown? I hope to have a mini veggie garden sometime soon. Hope I can learn from you. |
@months Ignorance can be a problem. Who cares about tribes these days? So many intertribal marriages are happening every week. You only need to open your eyes and mind to see. We're all human beings first and foremost. Each tribe has it's good, bad and ugly; none is perfect! By the way, are you saying people like Chief Emeka Anyaoku and Prof Chukuemeka Ike (among many others) are wrong cos they married Yorubas? I'm blessed with many in-laws from the other side of the Niger already and have no regrets whatsoever. The intertribal marriages will continue till the end of time irrespective of the silly e-war! |
Wow! This is so unfair to Basketmouth and wife. I can't believe this is the same Freeze that used to preach on Cool FM or am I getting it wrong? So embarrassingly childish! ![]() |
God bless you both. HML |
He never expected it! God bless him for doing us proud. |
Sadly this is one of the reasons Boko Haram finds it easy to recruit. Don't they have a Social Welfare system in place? Are there no grandparents/ relatives willing to care for him? I think adoption laws should be made easier so that children like this can be taken care of in a proper home setting. May God touch someone's heart to help this boy live his dreams for a better life. |
I fear for the younger generation! Some are so shallow in thinking, unexposed and gullible. Simple trip to USA causing so much argument. Maybe just clowning. Anyway Google is your friend, make use of it. |
Tithe is between you and God. The blessings come to you whether done anonymously or visibly. A spirit filled Church will only advise you not enforce what is not theirs to do. God sees all and rewards everyone in due season. If you can't afford to pay a second time, find another place to wed. Wedding is an event, marriage is for life. Be more concerned about having a happy married life. Pray, the Lord will make a way for you. |
Doubters - may we all never be a victim of kidnappers! The reality is she may not know for sure where she was dropped. The biker may be a member of the team whose duty it is to pick those dropped off to town. It could also be someone whose heart was touched by God to do so. Thank God for her life. Lesson: Make sure you go INSIDE the park to board a bus and avoid night travels. |
mamaafrik:He bought the Oshogbo Steel Rolling Mill during the Obasanjo regime. Nothing is happening there. |
PriNceNova:If you're in Lagos, go to the Licensing Office at Oshodi. It costs far less, maybe 10k. No need for egunje if you follow the procedure as always stated by the boss there. He's readily accessible and lectures while you wait. You can collect your temporary license same day. |
Probably busy nursing baby. Best wishes Teeshafoods. |
Please let the girl go while you continue to assist her where ever she is. It's safer and better for all parties. You won't get to your tethers end whereby you're pushed to do what you'll regret. Few of those who are accused of child abuse should actually be pitied. They simply over reacted to frustrating experiences. By the way, where's her mum? |
SLIDEwaxie:Why waste your time on this? Obviously only ignorant people who have never been to Ibadan revel in these images of old Ibadan which is a small part of the city. Some of us know that new areas and estates in Ibadan are beautiful. No need to waste precious time posting pictures for those who choose to be blind. |
Two shameless women! |
No girls? |
May her soul rest in perfect peace. May her family be comforted. I feel so sorry for Jide Kosoko. I pray that God gives him the strength to carry on. It's just so sad. May we never find ourselves in this type of difficult situation. Amen |
If the journalists are indeed responsible for unpaid advert fees, they have no moral right to protest unpaid salaries. |
