Thorough and unbiased analysis! May God open our hearts to deeper understanding of God's word and religion so that we may live together in peace. |
obaino860:That's Victoria Island. It's between Nigerian Law School and 1004 estate. You can see Civic Centre in the background. Beautiful pictures! |
She should also consider her primary profession - hairdressing. With some training to upgrade herself, a good beauty salon may be another source of income. I hope her husband is functioning well in his aluminium doors and windows business. He needs some tushing up too. |
Those who are sinless should cast their stones..... |
Echelle:You need a Will or Letters of Administration to claim your late dad's money. Contact a lawyer. If you need help, visit the Office of the Public Defender ( only Lagos residents) or the equivalent in your state. |
May her soul rest in peace. May God comfort and uphold her family especially the children she laboured so hard for. Sadly they're now orphans. |
durosinmikunle:I don't think it's about the money. The family is still grieving obviously. It won't bring back Ifedolapo but probably corpers will be better cared for henceforth. There may also be a need to review the NYSC Act. In truth, i am sad that too many corpers are dying these days. Most parents now want their children serving close to their states of origin/residence. Something has to be done. |
So hilarious ![]() |
What she won is valuable. Having easy access to international NGOs and the UN is a big thing. She'll go places as it will open wonderful doors of favor for her. |
Peaceful city! Lower cost of living too. |
No need for tribalism. Many Nigerian students from various tribes have been admitted to IVY league schools this year. So proud of them all. Nigerians are outstanding in terms of the rate of completion of college education. One of the successful students this year is Olawunmi Akinlemibola who was admitted into 14 colleges including Harvard, Princeton, Stanford etc. |
kilode100:No matter what, it's wise to speak soothing words to anyone who claims to be suicidal. |
Wow! I've heard about Adebisi Idikan before. Glad to read his story. Impressive! Efunsetan Aniwura was also a successful Ibadan businesswoman though very tough and sometimes classified as wicked because of the way she treated her slaves. I think she lived in the same era with Madam Tinubu (another successful trader) of Lagos. |
Can't help laughing. ![]() East and West ....criminals everywhere. No room for e-tribal warriors on this matter. |
fuckboys:Each prison has inmates coming from different tribes. Rev King wasnt imprisoned in Lagos where he commited a crime nor the East where he hails from. Cynthias killers will probably be in a Lagos prison. A South Westerner who commits a crime in the East or North will most likely be jailed there. Crime knows no tribe or religion. A visit to any prison on a humanitarian mission will open your eyes. |
seunlly:Can't we just do away with casting tribal aspersions on posts? Criminals are everywhere. No tribe is perfect. Its better to focus on meaningful discussions that can bring about the much needed change in our society. |
Sadly, slowly and steadily we're losing our sense of values. People get killed for all kinds of flimsy reasons or just plain greed. We were brought up to understand that there's dignity in labor and that hard work is the antidote to poverty (Ise loogun ise). Today the fraudsters, druglords, human traffickers, corrupt politicians and businessmen etc have impacted negatively on lives because they're rarely brought to book. No one cares anymore how you get your money. Get rich or die trying! May God open our hearts and minds to understand that we are created to fulfill our purpose on earth. Our personal efforts are always more important than what we expect others to do for us. |
May her soul rest in perfect peace. People should learn to run from aggressive partners before it's too late. |
From Mexico Wouldn't have been surprised if it's Brazil. Quite creative though. |
Eleyi dara pupo! Mo sese ri ibi to won ti nko ede Yoruba nikan lori NL ni. alphagate:Ise nla ni lati fi aami si oro pelu foonu abi taabu. E ku ise o! |
Great effort, nice products! |
Nice one! |
Was this case ever reported to the police? I think it's possible to get the call log for the Uncle's phone with the assistance of the police. That should reveal the phone number of the 'lover' that called if he truly exists. I pray that she's found hale and hearty. Nothing is impossible to those who believe. |
Why bother so much about the past? It will only create more problems for today and becloud the future. If you have no reason to doubt him now, move on and be prayerful. |
Leopantro:I sincerely empathise with you dear brother. It's a lot to bear but with the right attitude, you'll get over it. Your loved ones are resting with God. I believe that they'll be happier knowing that you're picking up and moving on with life against all odds. I remember a Nigerian in the UK who lost ALL his 5 children in a fire at home some years ago. A heartbreaking experience but he still chose to stand with God to recover from his grief. Remember also that the man who wrote the song "It Is Well With My Soul" lost his wife and children in a ship that sank while traveling to join him. Life is indeed full of mysteries. Our attitude makes a difference in how we react to situations. That's not to say you're wrong to feel despondent. The point is, avoid entrenching that feeling in your life. Live well to glorify God and make their impact in your life meaningful by being thankful for the great times you had. I pray that the people around you are able to provide the much needed comfort. Otherwise, please seek out old reliable friends ( like old classmates, helpful Church/Mosque groups) to spend your idle time with. Every problem has an expiry date. Trust God, It shall be well with your soul. You will recover and have cause to rejoice again by God's grace. |
Mightyify:Please take it easy. God will surely make a way for you. The only permanent thing in the world is change. Your life will change for better soon by God's grace. |
Regular kegel exercise is good and it can be done anywhere, anytime. Read about it. |
Do you know the properties involved and what has happened to them to date? What are your siblings and the wives doing about it? At least a few of you (representatives of each family line) should come together to confront the lawyer in a polite manner. Better to seek the opinion of a neutral but experienced lawyer before that. The Office of the Public Defender and The Probate Registry also assists on these matters if approached. If the will was registered I think you can find out with the assistance of a lawyer. Please note that I'm not a lawyer. My suggestion is based on some experience at work. |
Alex1680:This can't be the complete story. |
Hector09:Which religious views? Don't you have female friends at all? |
FlyoruB:The tribe is irrelevant. Criminals are everywhere. All of us go to the market to buy and are not immune to the consequences of using/taking deficient products. The case of Nigerian Bottling Company is still fresh. The point is many people and companies are killing Nigerians slowly with fake and unregulated products. NAFDAC has been comatose since Aunty Dora left.( May her beautiful soul continue to rest in peace.) Something needs to be done to revive NAFDAC urgently. |
Overflogged issue! We don tire!! E don do!!! They're all adults, what they do together is their problem. |
