Where was Labour when PMBs subsidy budget was limited to May 2023? They should have been proactive. |
zinosleek:Exactly! Rightly or wrongly, since US gave him a clearance report, the proceedings appear to be a waste of time. What is important is proof that BAT lost the election. If there's no solid evidence in that regard, we're better off moving on. |
jclassiq:It's possible. Ejigbadero, a very rich man was hanged in the 70s in Lagos for killing a poor farmer whose land he wanted to acquire by force. |
Ezmans:You're only seeing the ancient parts of the town...mostly centuries old. Just like the ancient Ibadan city that is always shown whereas Ibadan has developed far more than that. Most of the old houses remain due to sentimental attachment to family history. There are new layouts with modern houses usually called new site or GRA. |
Sablexxxtoons:There are modern areas and GRAs where you have modern buildings in most towns. |
What is more important is the plan that the person has for his life. Is he there so he can save towards getting his own place or to start a business? Is it due to an entitlement mentality like those who hope to inherit their father's house? In these hard times, it's not unusual. All that is required is to work on a solid plan for the future. |
Lantosed:Ayefele I think. I pray that many people are able to benefit from this soonest. |
pocohantasgspot:He doesn't support cattle roaming around. He once advised herders to relocate to a place he prepared for them in his state. |
I pray that God guides him and grants him the wisdom, knowledge and wherewithal to turn things around. Nigeria needs healing and progress badly. Whether we like him or not, the future and growth of this nation should be our priority. God can use anyone he wants to achieve great results. |
This is preposterous! The tenant should contact an NGO to take this up. The Lagos Buildings Control Agency can also assist. . |
Yet we have spent so much on the project. ![]() |
Funny thing is that Nigerians are presenting themselves as ignorant people. This matter has been debated for years and it's been in the news for months now that they were going to put limits on immigration. Their decision is not for Nigerians alone and has been work in progress based on it's long term effect on their economy. |
He did well but others before him like Alh. Lateef Jakande played their parts well. He had a Good foundation to build on. Many of the LASG institutions in place today are LKJs initiatives. |
Sounds like fake news. |
If they paid before, why do they need to write letters to make another payment? I think all that is required is for the lawyer to pay and tender the receipt. |
What exactly is the government doing about this sad occurrence? It's been silence all over or did I miss something? May their souls rest in peace. May those inflicting so much pain and ruination on others reap bountifully as they have sown. Amen |
Godstiger:SS and SE were jointly known as Eastern Region. The tribes had their distinct territories within. Just like Western Region included today's Edo and Delta States yet, they had their territories which later evolved into Midwestern Region. Eastern Region wasn't all Igboland nor was the whole of Westen Region Yorubaland. |
Pretty lady, good cook but from the marketing perspective, it appears that there's less to show about her cooking ability on SM. Mostly modelling in skimpy clothes which doesn't tally with kitchen affairs and matters of faith. Perhaps a little advice from her Pastor will make a difference. |
Love is patient and kind and does not envy nor boast. Love always protects, perseveres, gives hope, and does not delight in evil. Truer words have never been spoken
It's as stated in the Bible. |
Sicilyjoe:Oops! My error due to a mix up based on another report. Will amend accordingly. Thanks |
Whaaat! That can't happen in Lagos. It's even against the law to parade the ladies as if they're offenders. (I don't know about the laws of the SE State though). They don't have any agency to handle gender based violence and rape? This is most disheartening. |
ChinemeremFidel:You're a great guy! Focused, wise and confident in yourself. You'll go places if you keep it up and ignore the fake alpha male club. A real man treats a lady well. I pray that things work out well between you and the lady. Still see her and let her know your feelings and plans for the future. She may just be scared that you'll take advantage of her. May God give you the bone of your bones in due season. |
He has visited heaven before abi. The Bible only says we should be modest in our dressing. Is he saying those who don't wear earrings but are criminals have tickets to heaven? Pastors and doctrines! |
Ingocof:Don't assume. She wasn't there during the primaries. She doesn't appear to be so interested in politics. She has been more involved in humanitarian affairs. I remember that Hajia Aisha Buhari once pointed that out....before the primaries though. |
So painful to watch on TVC. So many corpses and houses burning or burnt, including a Church. My heart goes out to those helpless villagers. No NEMA or any kind of help in sight as shown on TV. Why is the government seemingly inactive and silent on these killings? |
Most disheartening! |
Why is a case in respect of Abia being heard in Kano Court? I don't understand. I thought jurisdiction for cases at the lower levels covers the state affected or the regional base at appeal level. |
Saviola86:You could have told the Pastor that you have a fiancée and will marry in due course. Introducing her would have put an end to her mischief. No one should be harassed to marry. |
With what is happening in Mangu, the Middle Belt and parts of the NW? |
Just wondering why they were killed. We know of bandits wreaking havoc in the North and Middle Belt. What is happening in the SE is so difficult to understand. |
thesilentman:You have your reasons but your approach is wrong. Very rude! There are better ways of handling this. She must be very miserable now. Pity. If it was your wife that did this to your mum, would you have accepted it in good faith? Honestly, you need to learn how to deal with elders when you feel offended. |
