Crime › Re: Man Arrested For Caging And Starving His Wife For Two Years In Borno by delpee(f): 5:38pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
doggedfighter: The pain and loss of 7 children may have affected her mentally.
People must be taught how to handle the mentally ill.
This man isn't alone, we have a lot of mentally ill chained in different churches , traditional healing homes, Koranic centres etc. These people should be in psychiatric hospitals.
Some have their their impaired children locked up in their houses never seeing the sun.
Taking care of the mentally ill is a lot especially in a country like ours where they're stigmatisation and inadequate medical care. You're right. She probably became depressed after going through so much sorrow and pain. |
Family › Re: How Do I Handle My Hyper-active Daughter, She's Barely 3years by delpee(f): 5:32pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
She'll be less restless at home once she starts school. Keep her busy with educational toys, games and decent kid's TV programs. There are tracing, picture and coloring books for her age. Also kids computers loaded with software for learning but it has to be durable and difficult to break or scatter.
By the way, those advising you to limit her intake of soda drinks especially coke are right. Hyperactive children become more restless with that. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Modernization In The Church! I Felt Odd by delpee(f): 5:06pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
Truthday: In the next 50-100 years Christianity will be odd itself. Christianity rules is defined by the odds of society.
When the society was sane, the Christianity was sane. As society started changing with odds so do Christianity.
Very soon LGBT will be norm too.
When TV came, some said it's devil box, today they use it in all their churches. Sane with phone and social media. This is rvide6that wr cannot define Good or bad, my mere judgement of our head only. But This is what we have today
And that's the problem of a people without rules or standard. That's why Islam 6just beautiful. With rules and standard. The modalities, practises of the mosque is same and not modernity will change it. It's Good, because the rule will prevent odds of society. There are varieties in Islam too as we've seen over the years in Nigeria. That's why we've had Maitatsine, Boko Haram, ISWAP etc. Also the ones who operate camps where people are indoctrinated based on doctrines which seem alien to Islam as we know it. Of course, they misinterprete the Quran to justify their lifestyles. |

IboHausaYoruba: I am surprised that Davido's billionaire father and his uncle (the Osun state governor) are not cautioning him to thread gently on these escapes. This is becoming unbecoming of a star. Davido should take a cue from Burna Boy who is even better good-looking and well known all over the world than he is. Women will flock around a star but self-discipline is the core. My heart is really with Chioma. That young lady has really seen a lot in the house of the Adelekes. It's a great pity that he lost his mum too early in his life. Burna boy's mum has a great impact on Burnas life. |

Karlifate: A slut can easily destroy you because she has low sense of self-worth & that also means less capacity for shame, guilt or remorse.
She's already damaged.
So, she has no problem damaging your reputation.
Beware! True. The Bible advises men to run away from ladies like this. |

All these ritualists pretending to be Pastors by opening fake Churches everywhere. People should learn how to develop a good relationship with God by studying the Bible. We all have the capability to be spirit filled as stated therein. It's so foolish to rely more on Pastors.
The Bible certainly doesn't encourage their animalistic behaviour. May justice be duly served. |
