Eriokanmi: Yes, I passed there last year when makinde was working on the bus interchange at the iwo Road, coupled with the construction work going on at lagos ibadan expressway back then, which caused a heavy traffic around that axis in which people spent hours and even slept overnight. The ikoyi axis , up to a village called aba ero omo isn't that good. But the moment you hit a place called Site 1, you're good to go. You'd also get to site 2, then an OPC check point. From there to the road constructed by Dangote, which leads to Ijebu igbo, I think ojowo side. From there to ago iwoye, then you can find your way to lagos from there. If you drive an SUV you'd not feel the stress at all.
Though the road isn't busy....somehow desolate but safe. Keep asking for a direction or activate your Google map so you don't miss your way cos there are a lot of T-junctions on the way as you go.
Most unnecessary. Let's behave maturedly. Embarrassing people through invasion of privacy by either party is despicable. Focus on the tribunal or any other reasonable means of sorting out the political issues on the elections.
I still think they should have worked harder on the Ikorodu - Sagamu Road before now so as to take some traffic away from the Alausa - Berger axis which is causing so much pain now. Those going to Ijebu/Ondo and the East can pass through that route but the road is very bad as I learnt.
StaffofOrayan: His real name is Habeeb Damilola Obatala from Ile Ife, When he had an accident with a blade at 14 years old, Tinubu donated blood to him, even sat by his bed and sang him lullabies!
Creeper: Chinedu Rhodes-Viviour isn’t Yoruba by blood. His family just got Yorubanised along the line after they settled in Lagos.
Also, his family wasn’t part of the Yoruba Saro contingent that came back to Lagos/Abeokuta - they were Igbo Saro that settled in Opobo.
His great great grandfather was William Allen Vivour, the son of an Igbo slave taken from Bight of Bonny, who was born in Sierra Leone. However, when he returned to Nigeria like the other Saros - he settled in Opobo and started palm oil plantation. Subsequently, he had problems with Jaja of Opobo and had to move his business to Fernando Po. His business flourished in Fernando Po and he became one of the biggest/wealthiest palm oil exporters.
I think it was one of his sons that married a Yoruba Saro woman and they ended up settling down in Lagos.
So, Chinedu is neither Yoruba nor part of the original Lagos/Abeokuta Yoruba-Saro lineage. His lineage is Igbo-Saro of Opobo and Fernando Po.
grandstar: You would have thought there were no touts in Igboland! Agbero has always been treated as a Yoruba affair.
The Agberos can be tamed. When Buba Marwa was the military administrator of Lagos, he made sure they disappeared. They only resurfaced a day before the handover to civilian rule on 28th of May 1999.
I wonder how they resurfaced and quickly grew wings after Marwa left. Lagos was so peaceful when he reoriented and resettled most of them. They were renamed "Good boys and girls" then.

Instead of sharing money or whatever on here (SOME of the beggars are lazy scammers from my personal experience when I tried to help in the past) ...I will suggest you go offline either you ask your priest friends to drop account details of a poor parishioner or buy foodstuffs for them and send across. As those very poor souls are eating, they will be calling heavens to bless this stranger that fed them...God is always awake around them...or pay school fees for poor pupils in your village in memory of your Mum...
HilcomTech: He may still win 2nd term since he doesn't insult the Yorubas. Osun people knew his mother was IGBO and they still voted for him
What killed Chinedu Gbadebo Rodes-Vivor political career is not because his mother is IGBO but because he was openly supporting IPOB and insulting the Yorubas
Thank God. Hope the money will be returned to us. All our detractors and looters must be brought to book. They are many across the nation. God help us.
Voice22: Panic As Nigerians Storm Defence HQs, Beg The Military To Seize Power & Stop Tinubu’s Swearing-In [Video]
Some group of Nigerians on Tuesday stormed the Defense Headquarters in Abuja, demanding the military to seize power in the country and stop the swearing-in of the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A video capturing the incident shows non-supporters of the All Progressives Congress in their numbers, kneeling in front of the Defense Headquarters as they accuse Tinubu of rigging the February 25th presidential election alongside the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof Yakubu Mahmood.
BloomingDale: Nigerian women, please either marry a white man or if by per chance you were unlucky to marry an African man, especially a Nigerian man, please abeg you, remember selective breeding so you don’t give birth to more of them.
They will rather chase after what the white man has built than build theirs. Their longer throat is too much. They covet the white man’s country, women, and now their football clubs?
One of the deadly sins in the Bible is covetousness. Do away with them. Their pathology won’t let them build a decent society for their women and children. It has been like this since time immemorial and I don’t think it will change. We women have to be the change, by not birthing them into existence.
Wow! What kind of warped thinking is this?
Anyway, I belong to the old school. Lemme wake pass.🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️
JASONjnr: Igbos are in full support for the Adeleke's win.... Why aren't they calling Adeleke an Igbo man?
The Adelekes understand the culture and are well blended with the people. They've done so well for their father's land. No one cares about their links with Igbo land though it's a known fact.
Malawian: Funny thing, i know a certain "Peter-Paul" Nig. Ltd. He is an elderly Igbo man He deals in heavy machinery like trucks, tractors etc. I don't know if he is the same person you are looking for. you may look for his person's company around Coker axis along Mile2-Oshodi expressway, lagos. goodluck.
