Why is it that only the politicians (and who know dem) are living large at the expense of all. I know that with constant electricity Nigerians will not even care who rules them and how much they steal yet they refuse to provide light. !!!

I have a simple theory for why electricity can never be provided in that country no matter what. it is simply a case of light and darkness can never meet and since our leaders have agreed with evil forces, they have been warned never to give light since they are of the dark. I hope my english make sense before someone go come give out to me

On a lighter mood, Do you know that Naija was far better when Amadioha was in charge? Then, the leaders were upright because if you do bad, Amadioha dishes you bad instantly.

Today, our politicians will swear by the Holy Bible or Quran in the morning and by night they will commit murder and steal all the money meant for development.

@OP your going to canada is still but a dream at this stage. You don't even have any visa yet. And who say you may not be refused a study visa? Please no sell your properties for the unknown o o. That will be like putting all your eggs in one basket.

My opinion is that abroad is too hard for a man not help out in his house. Leaving every household chores to your wife is courting unhappiness in your marriage which may lead to divorce. I do help out in my house. No woman can use cooking and cleaning make 'shakara' for me cos i can even do it better than most sef. Whatever i do in my house is for the betterment of my family.

What i will not tolerate is a woman using my kindness for weakness. My family (including wife) is my life investment and woe betide that person who wants to put asunder (including the wife sef!)

I can never tell how i will react if it happens so i understand where those that murdered their wives are coming from even though I don't support murder.

Again to our nigerian girls: Please don't ride on any man's back to come abroad. that idea it is full of all sorts of risks especially if you attempt to bail out after he would have invested greatly on you.

A friend of mine in the UK married his wife when she had lost her final appeal against deportation and was waiting to be sent back to Naija. The same guy was with her while she was studying for Nursing. He was looking after the home front, looking after the kids when she went to Uni full-time and sponsoring all of these things.

The question is, why are Nigerian men killing their wives (mostly NURSES) in the US?
The issue here is NOT, why are stay-at-home mums demanding for half the marriage asset in the event of divorce?

My Take:
The men that go back to Nigeria to marry women (mostly NURSES) or the ones that marry these girls (mostly from poor background) and bring them back to the US and pay for their nursing studies are to blame. SIMPLE!!

Like I tell people, a poor man/woman is a 'humble' person. You will never know who is truly humble until they see money.

You go back home, bring a poor woman back to America, train her finish, she, as your [size=16pt]investment[/size] starts to work and starts making plenty, plenty money (even pass you sef). And then tomorrow she start looking down on you, start seeing you as an old man, start calling you useless man and even start sleeping around with men (These are her true colors that poverty 'humility' hid in Nigeria).
