What I see here are 2 eccentric individuals.

1. Ugwuba who has just got a new ID and rather than climb the ladder to where he should be, is trying to employ 50 CENT, G-UNIT/EEDRIS ABDULKARIM techniques to gain popularity rather than learning the ropes. Please let us abandon this cheap publicity stunt.

2. MILITIA who is out to build up maximum posts in the shortest time possible. Without giving regard that this is slowing down the portal and aimlessly consume cyberspace.

Goodluck to you all.

@Ugwuba

I was making a mockery of all those Nigerians who believed in these PONZI system.

I really hope you were joking too when you declared that 12%, 53% and 35%, 12% made up the bulk.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Ranked 2nd Poorest Nation in the World by denex: 11:13pm On Jul 15, 2007
The sad thing is that some Nigerians want to force us into agreeing that Nigeria is the second poorest country in the world when it is absolutely very far from that.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Ranked 2nd Poorest Nation in the World by denex: 10:52pm On Jul 15, 2007
Did I not mention Burkina Faso, Kenya, Mali, Sao Tome & Principe, Central African Republic, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, East Timor, Comoros, Western Sahara, Solomon Islands, Eritrea, Somalia, Afghanistan, Malawi, Burundi, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Congo, Zimbabwe, Togo, Tanzania, Niger, Sierra Leone, Yemen, Tajikistan, Haiti, Zambia and Chad.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Ranked 2nd Poorest Nation in the World by denex: 10:32pm On Jul 15, 2007
Off the top of my head, I can mention Eritrea, Somalia, Afghanistan, Malawi, Burundi, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Congo, Zimbabwe, Togo, Tanzania, Niger, Sierra Leone, Yemen, Tajikistan, Haiti, Chad.

And then again, besides the fact that this information is maliciously intended to demoralise Nigerians. the document being quoted is about 3 years old. I wonder why it is being quoted now.

Instead of the people that come with these forms of propaganda to be banned, it is those that are trying to correct them that get punish.
O Nairaland, we hail thee.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Ranked 2nd Poorest Nation in the World by denex: 10:22pm On Jul 15, 2007
Look at what this clown above is saying. When the name of the document is in the first post. Nobody has even cared to seek the document and read it.

Maybe if they tried they would see how "current" this document is.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Ranked 2nd Poorest Nation in the World by denex: 9:19pm On Jul 15, 2007
I just looked at the statistics and Nigeria is richer than 20 countries. And is quickly accelerating. Maybe the person mistakenly typed #2 instead of #20.

I'm too tired and besides, I see nothing much to debate on this.

I refuse to debate with someone who claims that of 12%, 53% and 35%, the 12% is the bulk.

The Goddess I serve will not permit me engage in a debate with any such technocrat.

Peace be unto you all.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria : The Land Of Promised Electricity. by denex: 8:17pm On Jul 15, 2007
Do you know that as the new card meters are being fixed right now, some Nigerians are bribing PHCN contractors to manipulate the wiring connection in order to bypass all heavy electricity consumption appliances such as Air conditioners, water heaters and fridges.

So when the IPPs become fully functional, the records of the electricity consumed will be at par with what is produced, but real consumption will be 2 times more than that so the system will still fail.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria : The Land Of Promised Electricity. by denex: 7:53pm On Jul 15, 2007
I'm sure electricity problems will be eased when those crazy terrorists in the Niger-Delta stop bursting pipelines supplying gas to our Gas Powered Thermal Electricity Plants.

By now, I woul expect that with the amount of money those terrorists have made, they should be able to buy detection devices that would help them detect if a pipeline is carrying oil for them to bunker.

Cold catch Oyibo man, e make muffler to wear. But to make look more fashionable, e make am into tie.

Winter affect Oyibo man, e make coat to wear. But to make am look more fashionable, e make am into suit.

Wetin concern Kastina man with all that one.

We never try? We wear T-shirt, we wear singlet, we wear jeans. All oyibo cloth wey "suit" our weather, we wear am by our own choice. But why some Nigerian organizations and some Nigerians wan force us wear suit.
Tell all these bankers to wear what they like to work and you will see more than 80% condemn their suits for babanrigas, jeans, T-shirts and other comfortable apparel.

What some of you are suggesting is that Eskimos in Alaska should wear shortsleeve jerseys and Shorts because they want to play football. FIFA no fit.

@jesu seun

your ID already gives you off as a spiritual fantarizer. Please stop dreaming up these evil things. Tonight I want you to dream me 5 new Humvees, a 12 bedroom Mansion in the coolest part of Jos, and Andy Uba's kind of bank account.

By the way, my name is Nejeeb and you can go to my profile to have a proper view of what I look like so that you can use that to project my image the dream. I won't mind if you dream of me making love to Serena Williams as an added bonus. And please make sure I don't use protection because since this your dream is sure to come true, I won't mind me and Serena having a little junior to keep the tennis in the lineage.

Thanks. And please inform me when it's done so I can start expecting the real life occurrence.
Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Is A Slave & Not Son Of God by denex: 1:38pm On Jul 14, 2007
Well, some of the issues I've notice 'bout that surah has to do with translation problems.

However, from my general understanding of the quran, I think God wants muslims and every other people for that matter, to pass through hell. Those that are sinless would pass through unscathed.

That doesn't sound very godly to me. Why should god test me when he knows I've made heaven?
Then there is also the preferential treatment given to Jihadists. Besides the excess of 70 virgins, they get direct entry to heaven without passing through hell. Does this means at the end of the day that violence turns out to be the answer?

Na wah O! Some kind question for this Nairaland fit make police arrest somebody.

This is like saying that Obafemi Awolowo's father is not an Awoist. Of course he's not. Even Awolowo is not an Awoist.

Is Lord Buddha a Buddhist?
Is Karl Marx a Marxist?

Nairaland, una don come again.

God is not a Christian.

Please can someone tell me where this assertion is headed?
As if Lennin's father is a Lenninist. Abeg jare make person open better thread.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Chris Oyakilome by denex: 12:52pm On Jul 14, 2007
Well, the Bible does not say we should speak ill about those whom he has annointed.

But what of those claim that he has annointed them. Those Pastor Chrises, Reverend Kings and TB Joshuas. Must we wait till Pastor Chris Oyakhilome roasts a human being too.

When Reverend King was going about floging his church members and feeding them with his sperm, we stuck to this same maxim "God's annointed" till the man graduated into roasting human being. Okay, carry on.
Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Is A Slave & Not Son Of God by denex: 12:41pm On Jul 14, 2007
Osun O! Why are all these people calling HellFire like it's some kind of steam bath?

Jesus said he'll go into hell, now Muhammed is saying all muslims will go into hell. Do they think that hell is like a little above 45 Celsius?

Well, no wonder all this Jihadists like blowing themselves up. Because it is stated that only them can get DE (Direct Entry) into heaven.

Na wah O!
Anyhow back to topic, any god or Goddess that wants to enslave me, life go hard am O!

PoliticsRe: Terrorism: Made In USA by denex: 11:20am On Jul 14, 2007
Have you heard that the US congress is asking JUDGE Bush to reapply for approval of the war on Iraq under a different guise because the initial application under the guise of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Regime Change do not hold water anymore.

So I wonder what he'll say this time. Maybe he'll just come out in the open and apply as "Oil Sourcing"
PoliticsRe: Two Months On, Yar Adua Is Confused, Yet To Make A Single Move by denex: 11:09am On Jul 14, 2007
@Bankole1

you condemn Yar'Adua claiming that he was selected but you also go on to hail Gordon Brown for INHERITING the Prime Ministerial Position in the UK.

Why is it that we always accept anything "white" as right.

So would you have been any happier if Yar'Adua had inherited the Presidency? Nigerians! Condemning their own mistakes yet celebrating british crime.

@Topic.

Due process takes time. It is dictatorial unilateral decision making that comes to effect immediately.

Foreign AffairsRe: Terror Plot In London by denex: 10:53am On Jul 14, 2007
@Afam

I am telling you the guy is so far gone. Have you seen his new line of argument?

I say "davidylan that's a big rat"
davidylan says "No! denex, it is a rat that is big."

then he has also even featured an argument where he says because he googled and found out I was telling the truth, I was a stupid liar. Because he googled it himself and educated himself. So I'm a lying Arrow.

So if I tell davidylan that he's a man and he calls me a liar, when he checks his genitals and realises it to be true, he still feels I'm a stupid liar because I didn't grab his d*ck myself and show it to him.

Abeg Afam, you were right all along. Not every soul can be saved. A child who feels he's smarter than Israeli Intelligence that says Iran is less than 7 years away from making a nuclear weapon. But davidylan thinks its more like a couple of decades. What an intelligent young man.

And he tells me that he's not a fountain of knowledge. Imagine that. A man so intelligent is also humbly saying that no man is a fountain of knowledge. Please don't be so humble. You are a fountain of knowledge and considering you current age, if you keep this up, by the time you're 40, you'll be an avalanche of knowledge.
Foreign AffairsRe: Terror Plot In London by denex: 10:21am On Jul 14, 2007
Indian, Dr Muhammed Haneef, arrested in Australia is facing terrorism charges.

Evidence against him include the fact that a SIM card he used while in the UK was found with one of the alleged Glasgow jeep crashers.

Well, he explains that when he was moving to Australia from the UK, he had much airtime on his SIM card and felt it would be crazy to carry it to Australia where it would become useless, so he gave it to his cousin. By the way, this SIM card giveaway happened in the middle of last year.

Secondly, there is great suspicion regarding his recent purchase of a ONEWAY ticket to India. If he had nothing to hide, why didn't he get a TWOWAY ticket? In fact why the sudden hurry to leave Australia?

Haneef explains that his daughter was born in India the week before and he felt a need to see her. He also claimed that the child was sick with jaundice (which has been confirmed) and he felt as a doctor of international training, he was in a better position to dedicate his time and skill to his daughter.

He also explained the reason for his ONEWAY ticket with the fact that he was going to acquire visas for his daughter and wife so he wouldn't know when exactly the documents would be ready and since he and his family would be travelling back together, it made no sense to buy a return ticket.

Yet this man is a terrorist. This UK terror plots funny gan.
