tbaba1234: Mufti ismail Menk is awesome by the way.the celebrity part with fame, money, etc. I would be wary of it becoming like the church business where every one would start getting into it for the money. |

dfolan: 1000likes for this your post, that so called religion of peace feeds on propaganda to grow, you wouldn't blame him for that post afterwards according to hadith lies is permissible in Islam suffice such lies promote the growth of IslamSomeone makes a dumb post and you follow suit. It only makes you the dumber. The population figures are not created by Muslims. How dumb of you to think of them as incorect. Tired of seeing you dolts on here. |
lucky Don: May I remind u that that Adolf Hitler though born a catholic stopped attending church right from Vienna,Austria when he lost his parents. And he NEVER killied in Jesus name.Google his famous quotes and u will see that he was an atheist,a beast possesed by the devil.Another ignorant one trying to form knowledgeable. Adolf Hitler stopped going to church and that makes him less of a cHristian? How many christians go to church anyway? and you see Shekau as he prays and you are sure he is truly a Good Muslim? That you even equate Egypt's democratic struggle with terrorism shows a lack of depth in you.Is Lebanin an Islamic state and the only place where Ethnic clashes occur? People like you are a waste of time and are truly deserving of your ignorance. Wallow in it and stay drunk please...just where the world needs you. |
They were taking drugs They were using condom even Osama was watching porn and now they use juju. Journalism is now a joke or some non Muslims are claiming Islam to give Islam a bad name. |
how can a Muslim be going jor jazz. it shows they are not Muslims. #lobatan |
Sissie: Yes we do, in Nigeria most of the scholars have a specific tribe that mostly follow them, and am not sure of any that is know in Nigeria that both north and south listen to equally, or has a strong following from both.alright then. Plus they have a strong online presence that makes them attractive to the youth. I follow Mufti Menk on facebook. |
You should have posted the ones you think are better for a real comparison. |

DON'T DRINK WATER!!!! There is a need to get very much aware of wherever you find yourself. Look around and know the exits . It is also high time you got physically fit and not just sitting on a couch all day. You wouldn't know when the need to run will present itself and how much load you'll be carrying when it happens. It is all about risk management. God help Us. |
fyneboi79: So true!! I am 6'2 and will never be attracted τ̲̅ȍ tall girls but shorter girls who look cute. They intimidate you abi.. They look you in the face and you feel emasculated ?? |
ayobase: Anytime I come across article as such, I begin dey wonder why I didn't feed on enough beans when I was younger......Damn!This is not a beans matter. Genetics at play. Marrying a tall woman does not guarantee it either. You would need to pray even after that marriage. |
dammytosh: Wrong reason to be a programmer. You might end up not being one if your motivation is the cash.didn't mean that ![]() |
kayword: Indeed. Even though I dont usually comment, this is my number one thread.good to know ![]() |
Is he a sccientist? How did he prove that? and your blog is now dailymail? |
Do we really need to keep bringing foreigners for these lectures? Are there no Nigerians who would give the same lecture for less or no money at all? I wish the organisers the best, anyway. |

How many times have I said it that Ibadan is a commercial hub. wise business people will pitch their tent there. You also have the advantage of the cool atmosphere, low crime rate, easy life. But of course, if you want the high, you can always find hide outs, away from normal people. Go see how people they always enter those KfC shops...una go fear fear. Ibadan ni joooor ![]() |
![]() you're welcome ok, what then were your goals ie what did you intend the thread to achieve?
I already stated them. I wanted a platform for discussion and we have been discussing. I hoped that people would learn about the opposite gender and have an understanding of their thought process. I hoped that it would help people make the right choices and know how to approach relationship issues.. Some of the things that I wanted discussed earlier on came up much later and I was grateful that it was brought up- something about dressing up and how to approach... I have seen changes in people actually. I see some things that we discussed being manifested in how people relate and all that(even if they would not admit at first). There are also many others who read without posting comments..I believe it gets helpful many atime. did you have a particular purpose in mind?they are already stated above. oh, i thought you were in nigeria.only for a few months in a year. if you're rounding up your program then its never too early to start scouting for a spouse, assuming you're not planning a whirlwind courtship of maybe less than a year.I am not under any pressure to get married. I am not the typical girl waiting for a charming prince. I know what I want from life. I think a man would come along as I live my life. There is no need to rush. i asked the question because i was wondering if you actually are currently in a relationship with someone, sometimes you give that impression.I am not the girl friend type. I only talk with people. well, compatibility matters, those cant always be ignored.yeah fair enough, do you have an idea which personality type you feel would be suitable for you?I am Not sure of that. I have seen all kinds. I am more at ease with the crazy, all out for fun, down to earth, totally real(I always know the pretenders), intelligent, respectful and hard working, unintimidatable types with a future glaringly written over their forehead. |
let me rephrase if the wife is too busy or too tired to do the house chores, she should let the husband know she needs assistance. if he can help, he should, especially if she's taking care of a baby/small kids. And possibly working at the same time. in nigeria, most people would get a housemaid or relative to help in this area. but, its not ok to command him to do the housework, i dont know if its done overseas but i never heard the like in nigeria. and a reason such as "if the wife does not like house chores", is no reason at all. Most people do not like house chores, but they have to be done regardless if someone likes them or not. Unless you want the whole world in your business and looking down their judgemental noses at you?
I was not talking of commanding the husband. I already explained what I meant. It is not even about liking something but about not wanting to do it or not being able to. I see no reason why anyone should be forced to do what they don't want to do for any reason. I already put it there. It is better that people are honest with each other and marry those they can deal with than ending up in an unhappy marriage. Maybe I know some funny people though; the atypical Nigerians who live really good lives despite the atypical Nigerian choices they make/lifestyles they live. |
ShehuAba: The comments so far have really been enlightening. You see, I have read all you wrote. I can tell the kinda person you are. You keep hammering on home training like there is a book or guideline to it. It is your opinion, keep to it. since it wont affect me, I wont bother dissecting your posts. The problem with Nigerians is thinking that the world must be seen through their myopic eyes. A Nigerian wants things to continue to happen because there is never a way out. Status quo must be kept..LOL. |
Esji80: Jazakallahu khairare you sure u want me to explain anything? when this, below is what you wrote Esji80: Assalamu alaikum.U shld knw d@ as a married woman,U r to respect ur husband,do d household chores except in a situation whereby he personally decided to assist U o get a housemaid. |
As per cooking, i think this has been discussed elsewhere on the forum. There are cooking schools, youtube videos, etc to help out with that. Even white ladies and non nigerians are cooking nigerian foods ( which they have never seen before prior to marriage), with the help of the internet. And of course, hiring a cook is also an option if both parties are tired and stressed out, and have the money.
All of these are necessary only she can not. If she is interested in learning, the matter should not have gotten here. It is more like she stopped doing it. But how do we know why? Because the husband is making life unbearable for her and she had to run for her life without waiting first to keep the house clean? do we know if she got a job that now takes too much of her time? do we know if they she spends the money on the house while husband expects her to do room service still?.. Do we even know if Mr. Husband was just a talkative divulging the lies he thought of so he could get a pity party? who knows? |
punch is using nl 4 traffic. it is a win-win situation. |
