Something occurred to me earlier this year

I live in a 6 flat apartment in Lagos, the landlord’ doesn’t live in the compound so we are six tenants and the gateman I the boy’s quarters making seven occupants.

I somehow got to know that only the gateman Ali and one other tenant (elderly Isoko (Delta) woman) have voters card, meaning they are the only ones that can decide our faith as Nigerians in the compound.

I have never felt so much urge to get my voters card.

I registered my voters card in OYO state when I was in school and never went to collect it since I live in Lagos. I used INEC website : https://inecnigeria.org/ to transfer the PVC to Lagos and I selected my preferred polling unit like 3 minutes walk away from my house.


I have been asked to come and pick it up between Monday and Sunday next week.

Even the doctor living in the compound ( docky) have never voted.
