FamilyRe: Should Husbands Hide Money From Their Wives? by DICKtator: 3:18pm On Jul 18, 2013
andyanders: For me, I can NEVER hide money from my wife. As a matter of fact, my wife keeps our money in her account and I only keep little in my account for just fueling my car and other little things. This has helped us to plan things and we have about 4 buildings now.
To me, my wife is the best banker for the family, the best friend to me and my best adviser because I usually spend all my money with me when I go out with friends as I tend t give out any amount with me when people ask for money from me, I give out to a fault. But since I started keeping my money with my wife, I tell her to give me the amount I needed for the day and I make sure I spend within what I have. With this practice, it has helped us to plan for so many things. In fact, I tell me wife any amount of money with me I get even if it is 10 naira as I do not know how to hide. I drop my money open in my wardrobe and my wife and I can take money as we want and when we run out, we both go to the bank together.
Men can have their own opinion, but for me, having to be open to your wife will make her believe you when you tell her that you do not have, she will know you don't have. When you hide money from her, anytime you explain that you do not have money, she can NEVER believe you as she will take your response with doubt.
Are you for real? Your money in her account? while i salute your love and utmost trust for her which is tantamount to success in marriages but at times, throwing caution to the wind can be highly risky. I don't wish but if the tables turn what the heck would happen? I mean you would be left on ground zero. Hope the buildings are not in her name too?
Respect to you, this is really commendable though and i hope it is for better for worse for life
On a lighter note
People go fink say she give you something chop or
She dey wash her dikeh ton.to for your food!!!!

RomanceRe: She Lied About Her Age, Should I Divorce Her? by DICKtator: 1:10pm On Jul 18, 2013
aderonkebams: I'm going to make my story as brief as possible. I married my wife few years back and Infact she has never been pregnant. But that's not the real story. I've promised myself never to have anything to do with a woman older than I am. Not because of any reason in particular, I just despise the whole idea of dating women Older than I am not to talk of marrying them.

Unfortunately, I told my wife this when we met and because she was desperate to marry me, she lied about her age. My wife is 5 years older than me. I got to find out from a school mate of her who happened to be a new colleague in my office. We were gisting and getting to know ourselves better, I quickly showed her a pic of my wife so she could know how beautiful she is.

She referred to my wife as aunty Kemi, and narrated how close they were, her real age and so many other things my wife actually hid from me. I confronted my wife and threatened her that if she didn't reveal her true age and all that I need to know about her past to me, I am going to divorce her.

That was when she confessed that she didn't tell me her real age because she found out before we got close that I was younger than her and because she didn't want to lose me and that age is just a number she had to lie. Not only that, she confessed how reckless and wayward she was in the past.(that could probably be the reason she's yet to give me a child, who knows?) I am so confused, and considering the fact that we don't have a child together yet, should I divorce her or just continue to live with her while I make her pay for all the lies she's told me. I need your advice urgently, thanks .....

Another failed attempt of a petty thief was when I was on my way home on a weekend.I wore a jeans pant and put my wallet in my back pocket,an okada man was driving behind me and deeped his hand into my back pocket and sped off with my wallet.I wasn't even bothered because the only thing inside that wallet was the receipt of a phone charger I went to buy.I was just laughing inside me
So you wouldn't care if someone stole that Gucci bag i got you? I don't even want to talk bout the D&G and FENDI!!!!!

unfortunately for all you holier than thou people when you eventually fall, you come crashing so hard scattering like pack of cards and would be too shame faced to share your predicament but would rather dwell in your self afflicted misery. I am human therefore not perfect, not only do i make mistakes, i acknowledge my wrongs and learn from it.

joshua idibia: WESTERN EDUCATION, 2b precise.
hahahaha. Dude, i deliberately avoided typing WESTERN EDUCATION cos folks in that nether region are adverse to it. Education doesn't emanate only from the west. There was and still is a lot to learn from Africa, the bedrock of knowledge,to the Oriental "hemisphere". Western education terminology is an anomaly cos the bedrock of knowledge is from Africa!!!

Don't quote me outta context , to "settle political score" may be an idiomatic expression which is applicable to the common man.

ibiso1986: Its ok to be vigilant but some nigerians go to the extent of blaming the innocent.. Here's my story... This happened at Garison in Port harcourt. An
elderly man(in his 50's) accused me of being a
pickpocket in front of a massive crowd
.It happened around 6pm at Garison busstop..(PH)
They were so many people waiting to board
either a taxi or a bus heading towards rumola..
So once a car stops, people tend to drag or
push each other just to enter any commercial
vehicle.. I waited for a car close to 30 minutes
and decided to do the dragging game. A car
came and I was trying to struggle close to d
back door, then I mistakenly touched one
elderly man(who was also struggling to enter)
by his back(close to his pocket area and not
inside his pocket).. It was a mistake cos we
were all pushing and dragging with our hands..
The guy shouted that I was a theif.. That he
will slap me(see me, see wahala).. Everybody
(close to a 100) focused on the scene.. I
shouted back and explained to him.. The guy
told me to shut up.. I dragged and explained
even to others.. But the crowd seemed to
believe the man(I even heard a lady saying na
so dem go dey dress well dey thief). Can u
imagine the embarrassment.. One of the
agberos wanted to bring out tyre.. But another
agbero stopped him and told me to leave the
man.. He probably saved me. Cos I think I
would have been brutally injured or killed if it
were to be some other places in nigeria(don't
want to mention names).. The man was still
shouting and I shouted back while explaining..
He later boarded a vehicle and I left the scene.
Majority of d crowd started avoiding me after
my explanation.. How can I be a pickpocket
when I'm a graduate
. Its so sad.. I JUST DONT
KNOW WHY MOST NIGERIANS ARE NAÏVE AND
SO QUICK TO BELIEVE. So please, if u are
stocked in a bus stop
, be careful how u place ur hand when
dragging with people just to enter a bus or taxi
cos someone might wrongly accuse you..
THAT'S THE MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT IN
MY LIFE..
Do you mean to tell me that no graduate can be a pick pocket? hmmmmmmm................
grin grin grin grin
