MrCrackles:[flash=200,200]">http:// [/flash]texazzpete:Agree with u 110% Its the typical Nigerian laziness that started when we let Crude Oil define who we are. Nollywood when it came out was screaming 'government should come & help us grow. Sure they did, by setting up Video Censors Board to regulate them silly. In true sense of the word, that is what government does & should do, regulate ur ass. |
blackspade:To an extent you are right however, i've dealt with the Chinese and i tell you, these dude are ruthless businessmen pure and simple. If u want a N10000 space satellite, i tell these guys will make it for you. On the other hand, if u want NASA grade satellite, same thing just pay the right amount & they'll make it for you. Why is it that the biggest American/Global Tech companies Intel & the like outsource most of their production (some design even) to china?Mind u these kats dont get sentimental with their money. the Answer simply is that they are competent enough to handle this. I own many devices bought directly from china 7 i tell you, they r more expensive but of superior quality than what obtains in our markets. We need to ask Mr NigComSat how much of the N40billion was actually spent on the satellite. The only reason the Chinese outbidded 21 other international firms was that they offered the best 'Kickback deal' cos they could always compromise on quality. If u had given say a British coy the contract it would've cost N80billion cos kickback must dey. **With this development, at least he should forget the 3G license he wanted govt to hand freely to him. |
Nigeria1//: Nigeria1//:ROFLMAO this dude will kill me ooooooooooooooooo there is mental incapacitation & then there is this guy. I rest my case |
@Nigeria1// From all your gross juvenile behaviour across the entire forum, i have reason to believe that u have deep seated issues of a sexual nature. and i sympathize with you ![]() 1.) its either, that u can't get it up. (i'm assuming ur'e a man) 2.) not getting any at all, hence a 24/7 hard on. which explains why u're incapable of maintaining social relations with a woman (even if u're gay, i doubt any man would want u) 3.) u were grossly abused as a child may God have mercy on ur poor sex starved soul SEUN, SEUN, SEUN ![]() how many times did i call ur name?, we need a moderator for this forum to weed out these darned satellite photos. |
Too bad the big boys dont move their millions via moneygram |
This is total Bull, I repeat Bull excreta Its the typical knee jerk reactionary type of government we run. They've beaten up a 'connected' mans daughter and now everybody wan use am score cheap political point. he should tell that to other lagosians whose cars have been damaged by these convoys. I once had an encounter with such a convoy which funny enough was that of a Bank CEO going to work. This was close to their Office in VI. i for one did not elect the mofo to any post besides i own shares in his bloody bank i bought with my hard earned cheddar. If not for the fact that the car i was driving belonged to a military officer and i had 'ratings' in the car with me, una for don see me for youtube, facebook, Sahara reporters & NL receiving the 'Okere Special'. Fashola should go and face the Lagos Infrastructure project and let the running 'Mad Dogs' be. long live nigeria |
Its very very easy to different in our Setting Just make up your mind, to make enemies of everyone you've known since u popped out of the womb. I couldnt help but laugh the way ur Aunt inadvertently countered herself immediately. That my friend is the problem we have in this country. We have failed to understand that culturally, certain acts that are term nepotism in the West are part and parcel of our genetic makeup. In china & much of Southeast Asia , there is an institutionalized system that they have which caters for all eventualities. The reason why their economies & societies are advancing is that they've accepted that u can't adopt all facets of western culture. more examples, Singapore has been run by practically one family, yet its one of SE Asia's/the worlds financial superpowers and a democracy where Uncle Umoru 'confusion+go-slow' Yar'adua can learn a thing or two about the 'Rule of Law'. try spitting out gum on the side walk there and see what'll happen to ur behind. So the day we stop lying to ourselves and shun the Institutionalized hypocrisy eating us alive, then shall we proceed. |
Nigeria1//: we once again acknowledge ur 'Thread ruining abilities, No Contest u are the champion On to serious matters, I happen to have first hand knowledge of Comrade Adams Antecedents especially segments of which are not widely known to the general populace, or are dismissed as mudslinging by his supporters. I do hope for the sake of the residents of Edo that he performs. However, i know & fear that we are about to witness a government that'll be run on propaganda and other noise making techniques. Do not forget this dude has 'claimed' to be in the opposition/underdog situation for the past few years as a labor leader. This experience will enable him to better bamboozle the ppl of Edo with well constructed misinformation. Expect to hear such Peter Obi type excuses like, 'The PDP machinery is making it impossible for me to deliver. Mind u this dude has been in bed with the PDP in a trail that leads to Aso Rock and Otta. Expect enough rallies filled with low income types and enough rhetoric. It is a big Insult to liken this dude to Barack Obama cos apart from the Rhetoric (which Oshiomole's labour activist part makes him an expert) there is no similarity between these two men. Expect a government like Ikedi Ohakims in Imo state that'll be run on the pages of Newspapers (where fortunately, he has enough sympathizers) Anyways it might just be the undying cynic in me running amok on the keyboard. So my parting shot is, , Time will tell God bless Nigeria |
Police, broke ![]() Despite some negative experiences with the boys in black, i feel for those newly promoted chaps who cant go for their own chop session talk about tough luck, on how their turn don reach, tap come dry. May the oil wells not run dry before our turn go reach. Anyways I've had this view (albeit controversial) that given the proper management framework, the Nigerian police can be semi-commercialized & become self-sufficient in funding. In this twisted world of mine, Police stations will start proliferating like UBA branches. they'll be airconditioned with all the trims. U can liken the boys @ the checkpoints to retail marketing staff. The guys at the counter go be cashier and so forth. |
KarmaMod:I hope u know the state of Sara palin's last child 'Trigger'. the poor dude has downs which has high probability of happening if u give birth at that age. I warned @post bout this in my earlier post. @Lacrimose I got sent to the recycle bin by some local champion for enlightening them on the point u just made. |
![]() @Post Sorry love, I feel ur pain. Even my Handyman aboki is now an expert on International Affairs. I don't understand much Hausa but when i overhear this dude talking wit his hommies l8ly, they drop BHO's name like evry 3 seconds. |
SuperPap:Local champion like you I'm sure the sister was talking in dollar terms which is closer to N20m @Poster that whole biological clock crap is so early 20th century. besides she's still got 10 - 15 safe child bearing years left (all things being equal) beyond that she's straying into complication territory (tho these OBGYN folks ve been upto some amazing stuff l8ly) Plus adoption is always an option. Finally, she should focus on getting a guy she'd spend d rest of her life with as opposed to some mandingo that'll knock her up & still be upto no good. |
MENA (movement for emancipation of Native Americans) kidnaps texas oil workers Palin lobbies for cabinet post in Obama Government Top GOP Stalwarts decamp to |
ROFLMBO ![]() It is not yet Uhuru for Obama Party Stalwarts pay courtesy call on Obama |
@ Gamine We represent every reasonable member of this forum that finds them Satellite pictures irritating. that stuff just increases the page sizes of threads unnecessarily. If the dude were to put up links to them, i'd have no qualms. So if u don't consider yourself part of the 'collective', well thats ur prerogative |
Oga Brash MrCrackles:that my friend is the understatement of the year. Just when u're about feeling the gist flow in a thread, u run into one of his bizarre Satellite photos. I'm outta nerves already, talk less of him getting on em. |
This might not be the best place to lay this complaint, however i can't help it because d due has bitten off more than he can chew. this dude has a way of ruining every thread on the politics forum with his satellite photos Guy if u don't do something about this dude, mark my words i will. Considering the sensitive nature of this section, a moderator is of the utmost importance. Even if its from the sex page, redeploy someone. |
I dont condone this kinda behaviour in whatever format. I have a lot of respect for the military, cos i feel it takes a lot for someone to sign up for 'possible death'. That being said, our society is warped and no matter the uproar this generates, expect the 'brass' involved in this to leave with just a slap on the wrists. If anybody is going to suffer it'll be the 'over zealous' ratings. In military settings somehow some way, the lower cadres normally bear the brunt for their superiors indiscretions. Even in America the beacon of freedom its so. (remember abu ghraib where the small fry got jail terms, whilst the boys were sipping on crisp. God bless Nigeria |
http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/posted/archive/2008/11/05/205686.aspx U'll find speculations on the subject. My take on the whole things is that Obama is going to break a lot of promises if he wants his administration to surmount the 'wahala' presently on ground. He also needs to reach out and increase his support base especially in the repulican side. We shouldnt forget that over 50 million people voted for McCain. Digression: On the homefront, our very own Baba Go Slow is doing what he does best i.e. Leading like he aint got a clue. He's supposed to be preparing next years budget, meanwhile he has a fraction of the usual cabinet. i'm seeing a scenario where the 2009 budget will be passed in 2011. Long Live Nigeria |
I read somewhere that increased levels of certain sex hormones improve ppls speech. So my advice is, get on ur knees and give the brother lots of head, i ashuwa u that d results will be outta dis world. Jokes aside sha, If u really love this dude & y'all is on the verge of tying the knot then his grammatical indiscretions are like minor potholes compared to the ditches y'all will need to overcome l8a. Also, the fact that u find his 'blunders' embarrassing, dont mean others do. After all no be the same yarns the 'mango' carry win your heart. Us blokes have plenty plenty ego issues & if u push too hard, he might find some 'local mapouka' that wont mind his blunders. |
In Anambra state we've got 2 similarly named towns Nnokwa & Adazi-Nnukwu Why u wanna know anyways? |
Take heart Barack, God gives and takes NB: The following is not entirely thought through As Okoro-man that i be, with open eye to things beyond this realm, i say there is more to this death than meets the eye. Na all those Kenya odinga/masai jazz men don use Mama Dunham arrange otumokpo wey Barack go use win election. |
He is a represents the down-trodden in headline hugging and sensational cases This is because it's not all lawyers that have the Charisma to handle the spotlight. |
bawomolo:That my friend is the point Its not exactly meant to be a secret, the idea is for people on the outside to feel like these dudes (on the inside) know something i don't. From the write up, u can see that there isnt much to them except as some 'elite wankers' group unfortunately as with every concept imported to this country, Wole Soyinka & Co.'s attempt has turned into an uncontrollable beast. |
This thread is just another reason i wouldn't advise any person of mine to attend that glorified secondary School called CU. 8 out of 10 graduates or 'seniors' i've met from that institution display a heightened level of immaturity that i find appalling. A University education is supposed to prepare Adults for the real world by placing them in an environment that is a microcosm of the society that they (graduates) will live in. The Academic component is just that a component. Why is it that Ivy league schools like Harvard, Yale, Cornell, etc promote extra-curricular activities for their students? To the point that 'secret societies' like Skulls and bones, Sphinx Head, etc constitute a vital, officially recognized part of Campus life. These societies mind u have produced Presidents of the US, the Incumbent & his challenger in 2004 notable alumni. I'm Sure Bishop Oyedepo would pull a coronary if such ideas were brought to his table. Instead @ CU we have a this tightly regulated environment, where the students r told what to wear, prohibited from owning mobile phones and a host of other absurdities. Universities with religious affiliation in other climes are hardly like this. However like i said earlier, some products of this institution do exhibit some level of maturity which i'd attribute to their non-school/home environment. |
@Midas02 I am deeply pained whenever i come across Nigerians that reason like u. Cos I know that this 'system' does not deserve you. However my brother i urge you not to give up, but instead to keep that mind of urs working. Plus u should initiate plans that would catapult you into the Decision making cadre, tho it might involve doing some not so pleasant stuff, but all for the greater good. Who knows, u might succeed Fashola by 2015, It all starts with u Imagining it. Fashola seems to have struck as much of a balance as he can trying to set us on the right path. However, i pray that he stays the course & eventually his successor (after 2nd term) will be able to build on his foundation. the problems of Lagos & Nigeria @ large, cannot be wished away but require at least 10 - 15 years of dedicated positive action. Eko ni baje Long live Nigeria |
ife-eco-06:Ur first point is a key reason to sack em (if i were in Umoru's shoes, i'll toe the same line) I totally second point #2 As for the 3rd point, it remains to be seen cos in my view, he flip flops a lot. |
@Orikinla Its either u step to this chic & make a move (on how she be banker, opening a multi-million naira account is not a bad idea, guaranteed u'll score) OR save us d hassle, get Big size premier Soap, Someone a lot wiser than me once said that "Self Help is the best help" In more civilized climes, ur actions could be labeled as Stalking. |
Emperoh:In asusu Eliza above could also be described thus; "Effective Relocation of Phalanges with aid of Climate control spiced with leather and Chrome." I'm guessing this scene played it self out Somewhere in the streets of Abuja (the Centre of Eternal Oppression). In a different scenario, @ posters colleague could pull his own stunts if opposition were pushing a lesser 'Chariot' . @Walttt Ur description could make some chics wet @Post With ur ambition to make it, i am assuming u intend to pick ur men from d streets as well |

we have network , the same thing way like NEPA, same process technically. that is what I worked with.
