Cricket is 100 times better than baseball

in cricket the guy atleat hits the ball but in baseball the fat macho man, chew gum like his life depends on it
spits all over the place then three strikes and out, runs back to his other big bootied mate to get slapped in the ass
huh and oh it's only played in that fat country grin

world series huh

Just watching replay of Kano pillars Vs Portsmouth at Abuja stadium

the pitch is (was) fatanstic!
and the TV cameras used were very top notch

If the pitch and coverage can improve half of the work is done!
people will watch the league, nobody wants to watch black and white matches on NTA
hope the 8.xbillion Naira is used properly by madam Dora

What happens to track & FIELD events?
Still wondering why most nigerian stadia have tracks when tehy dont even use it, it make the fans far away from the action, some even have to hold binoculars!! and tehre are no giant screens to show replays wink

novaman, you want states to stop running football clubs yet you want the states to build football pitch??
secondly whats this big deal about astroturfs? how many clubs in EPL use it?
you are basically saying we are too dumb to maintain a field with a bit of grass on it or perhaps we
are to lazy to use a lawn mower!!

Stil dont get why people are against Dangote?

Was the election rigged?

Does he in anyway influence who gets listed or de-list?

does he have anything to do with companies balance sheet and timely announcements?

The regulatory body is SEC-headed by Arunma Oteh, and the DG is Madam 'I have a Phd' Okereke

Fhemmmy:
It is plain wrong.
conflict of interest is what pple with sense call am
are you sure you know what you are talking about?
the outgoing president doesnt have companies listed on the NSE
apparently with the NSE, all vice-presidents succeeds the outgoing president

MUZBO:
Whether Dangote deserves the post or not means little to me. I actually don't give a rat's as$ who the president is. All I know is if he was complicit in manipulating AP shares then he shouldn't even be a board member. . .FORGET SOME bribed-as$ed MONGRELS absorbing him of wrong doings(WE ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS!). If Nigeria had real honorable leaders he should've resigned anyway.
You are talking as if someone else cant bribed to nail him, all we had was accusation and the way it is in nigeria, once you are accused you are guilty, like say AP owners are saints themselves, perhaps Dangote influence Access bank to call in their loans publicly

I really cant understand this guys hatred o, everything you can accuse him of, you can accuse many people in the NSE of the same bloody thing, insider trading? share manipulation?

No one blames Big Madam "i'm a Phd holder" or the outgoing president when brokers were busy scamming shareholders and companies were trading without annual balance sheets, now this mallam gets fingers pointed at him like he is in charge of everything

what do NSE presidents do anyway?

Are you joking, have you been to Cuba yourself?  What is wrong with these Nigerians?  Cuba is way worse than Nigeria and probably costs three times more, all in the desperation to leave Nigeria.  Cuba is in the caribbean and is not a tourist attraction like the other Caribbean islands.

thanks very much lawyer, been hearing about these 'Estates' for a long time think atleast there should be completed ones tehre with people living around 2009 the place is still empty!!

jesu seun:
hello lawyer,

God bless for this good work.infact,d fact is not that all d place is bushy, development can take place fast,d fact is the estates having all the necessary Govt docs.I am planning to go to investigate an estate, golden heritage estate, its towards d end of d road.dey said its 390k per plot.when i was at their office,i accused then of not having any pics to show the status of d estate.pls how much is land at sherry view estate and golden mater estates ,it seems they are more serious.

do u have idea of green life estate, close to MFM prayer city.
You heard the lady, she bought over 13 years ago the place is still empty in 2009, chances are plot owners today are looking to re-sell in the future not necessarily build so let say another 13 years will still be seeing greenery

mortgage is the way to go developers should build and sell it on with long mortgage (with govt guarantee)

Wont advise you to travel as a student without your full school fees, and your whole rent at least

prior to the recession The best option is still UK in my opinion, i don't think students are allowed to work in the US and Canada though there might be some vacancies in school but its highly competitive. In the UK you can work up to 20hours anywhere if you can find the job and they agree to take you on part time basis plus you can work full time during the holidays

Is there any reason why architects have not explored social housing estates (not too sure if they are the ones to recommend this)

congestion and environment with good design these can be avoided,
Politics › Re: Nigeria: Ghana Plans To Be Major Electricity Exporter To Nigeria, Others by DisGuy: 1:41pm On Aug 05, 2009
nex:
When Yar was dreaming up his 7 point agenda, he thought he could simply solve the power problem by going nuclear. However, he did not consider the political implications. If it there were no political and security issues attached with nuclear power production, we would have been able to produce more than 6,000 MW today. From what I know, there's a single nuclear power station in Japan that produces more that 7000 MW on its own. But Yar'Adua mentioned his nuclear plans and the world screamed so the man cowered.

I still believe if we want stable, dependable and sustainable electricity, we must say to hell with everyone else, "China come run this package".

Now, I don't know if the whole world will sit back and watch Ghana embark on production of nuclear power. I don't know.

Another thing that bothers me is that Nigeria still gives out electricity to some neighbouring countries at a subsidized rate. They also pay some of them extra money in millions of dollars. There's a reason for this. It's a very complicated reason, and though it was valid at the point when basically all our power was generated by the Kainji dam, but today we don't know why we do it.

By the time we withdraw the power we are "dashing" these countries and use it for ourselves, then withdraw the gas we're sending to Ghana and use it for our own gas power plants, we'll be able to come up with that 6,000 MW. Then if by or before 2015, we can resolve our nuclear issues, then we should be able to build at least three power plants producing 2,000MW each to add to that before 2020. Of course there's coal which is used all over the world except Nigeria.

We just have to keep our focus on Nuclear and Coal or else we're going nowhere. They're the cheapest sources of electricity today.
I don't think we can produce 6000MW of electricity from nuclear in just two year
and we have no option but to 'dash' these other countries because if they had built a dam on the river Niger in their country, the water would
not be enough for use to build anything or perhaps it might even alter course of the river

ladies and gentlemen the best persons to be the minister of petroleum would be one from the Areas where the Oil is produced, who knows what it feels like to be from there, ie one from the Ijaws, I know this aint very constitutional but in our failing nation, this might be the way forward abi? anyway I hale MEND cha, all of a sudden people dey listen to ND struggle now.
Erm no the best perosn will be anyone that is qualified and very experienced in the sector, we already have ministry of environment, NDDC, niger deltan ministry those guy can work with the minister of petroleum especially when laws and contracts are signed affecting the communities.
We've had people 'from' the place as ministers and that was exactly when all the neglect and spillage occurred in the past- most of these people 'from' the communities have no real ties to the communities there; like the senators they just go there once in a while from abuja and lagos

apart from being a bit of an oldie, Lukman must certainly be doing right, nobody's mention the petroleum bill, theres no main objection to it apart from the fact the players dont want their contracts revoked
