Uzoma Okere Campaign for Justice,
Dear All,

I was with Uzoma Okere in Alausa yesterday and at the Ministry of Justice thereafter, where we edited the petition to ensure it was explicit about what we want.

But let's not celebrate yet. The battle has just begun.

It ends when justice has been served. And we will keep at these protests until justice is administered on the rating monsters.

If you want to lend your voice to the injustice, please come to 14 Muri Okunola at 12.30p.m on Sunday November 9.

We will be there till 3pm with a video camera to record the faces and voices of incensed Nigerians.

From there we will proceed to University of Lagos where filming will continue at 4pm- 7pm in front of Moremi Hall. Similar filming will take place on Sunday in London, New Jersey and Beijing.

We all have a responsibility for what happened. We permit it by not speaking. We intend to broadcast the footage on local and international television in order to inspire shame in each one of us as individuals and in our government.

We will continue to air the clip on rotation until justice is served. Please spread the word. We look forward to seeing you there on Sunday and please send this to all your friends on facebook.

Ebun Olatoye.

Travel › Re: Building A Rapid Mass Transit System (Metro-Rail) In Lagos by DisGuy(mod): 1:53am On Nov 08, 2008
Its all good talking big and looking good
Thank you!

funy thing is most of what is on here is on the lagos state website or megacity website so its not as if they dont know what to do, where is the money and expertise to do all these? the laws are not even in favour of some of these things

The fact is that the 100 million $ is small fry compared to monies that will be made over the years. You will pay no single tax for the next five to ten years to the state
besides the 100 million is just a sugestion it could go higher or lower.
So why are these private big boys not rushing in to take positions?
Why arent the banks rushing in to make more $$$$?

No sir no monopoly at all there will be competition and I trust Nigerian Business men they will want more licences to be sold and that could be done after some years so that those that have invested monies will recover their money. please there is nothing like FREE free market you must regulate. Go and ask Bush why he bailed out the banks.
Do you know the uproar and accusation that followed the initiative to give out more cement importation license?
Especially from cement manufacturers in the country who are already enjoying the high price of cement even though they have been been overstating their manufacturing capacity!

And you should see the reaction of some telecoms coy over some rumour about the FG giving nigcomsat* license to operate as end user service providers

who is QT?

I hope the south African you're referring to isnt the one who came on here and said she's experiencing an infestation of Nigerians in her hometown?

are you people blind or something? Nigerians are very accomodating people. Thats no reason for others to just run their mouths anyhow simply because the Nigerian guys who want to get into their pants, will overlook any rubbish they dish out.
welcome esteemed tpia cheesy

I also understand Nigerians are also very brilliant and mature,
how about we school this people when they come on board all
excited- you know when people feel some certain generalization
are not acceptable or offensive they calm down and follow the modus
operandi, but when people are all over the place accusing each other as
if it's totally acceptable you wont be surprise other people just jump on board
not knowing what is offensive or not considering they are outsider
a whitey wont use the n word amongst blacks that don't use the n word
and some will use it at as everyone around them does
all I'm saying is we can teach/correct before descending on their hapless excited self

that great then, I think there are more selection process involved-leadership and group task
Cant remember if he did all these together,
their pay is cool and usually very good training, but what im not sure about is the 'culture'

Apparently he failed because of a black spot at the back of his retina (or somewhere in his eyes)
he was training to join the Air force

Well separating helped for all those Eastern European countries, and European countries are usually based on ethnicity (E.g Germany's language is German, England's language is English, Serbia's language is Serbian, what's Nigeria's language? Nigerian?) and the people in country were usually the ones who actually that put their borders together.
what is American language? what is Canada's language, ghanaian don't have ONE language, many countries in teh world are put together

think about it those eastern European countries that separated are all working to join the EU

fattening rooms of calabar

And the Prince and his wife, who belong to the Efik tribe, certainly see no reason to change.

"When you are fat, it makes you look healthy," says Happiness.
"People respect you. People honour you. Wherever you go, they say, 'your husband feed you fine.
"If you go to a village, people can come out to look at you, because you are healthy."
partly to do with our obsession with respect, status and honour

My Friend tried and failed last year I think he is trying again,
the selection process is quiet rigorous, there are so many process involved
the good thing is you will get an NYSC exemption certificate grin

Have you tried looking for a job outside of your field or even outside the UK-Europe, USA, Canada even Dubai
the country is small and the sector you want might be very competitive so choosing
a national over you will always be an easier option for some

There are such jobs in nigeria for sure, but I don't know the ease of getting into them
you wont know if you don't try, make some moves, forward you CV to friends and relative
networking is part of job-hunting

I am seriously waiting for the day Nigerians  around the world will rush to the streets like blacks did for Obama in jubilation of the break up. That day is coming and it's very near. I wait.
Actually its not, the only noise about breaking up is on the internet and it doesn't represent the majority, i rarely hear anyone talking about this break up on the street, everyone just wants a better living condition!!!

but there have been other movements by groups who are calling for their nations
the other groups you are talking about are just looking for money and relevance!!!
show me any news report/opinion or serious group part from massob that wants a break
