I told them that i am a blogger and also an actor/entertaineris that suppose to be a recognised profession or something, why would anyone introduce himself as a blogger in Nigeria to Police? |
histemple:The initial request was made to Ibechukwu he referred them to NNPC and DPR Some of these our so called experts are complicit...this dude is always on social media preaching openness and transparency..something as basic as this has been turned into a buck passing exercise....involving lawyers SAN who would obfuscate the populace with their jargon subsection this and paragraph that |
Mamatukwas:They don't want to be seen as being 'soft'. plus there are a lot of people abusing the system-some have made a killing with their benefit systems esp Eastern Europeans- Romania etc. it's all about balance; imagine Nigeria giving everyone an easy pass when unemployment, crime is skyrocketing |
ibegeeee:I will see it as an investment actually, job creating opportunities, Forex Inflow etc... Most airline now are run as partnership between a big established Airline hence passing on the experience to local management. There are many businesses and policy of government targeted at the elite that has great trickle down potential for everyone, the elites wont man the check-in desk, run the back end of the airline website, or handle luggages..these are all jobs that will be opened to everyone.. |
ibegeeee:A national carrier doesn't necessarily have to be owned 100% by the state...many developed countries have national carriers..that they eventually dispose of totally to private investors or invest in through pension/sovereign funds |
SmoothDad:Try the colourful churches.... |
spacyzuma:personally, I wouldn't class this as racism, as i don't know the reason why ...but i do this myself so i cant point fingers at other. I sometimes prefer to stand even when there are seats available, space might be tight (the other person might be on the big side) or i want to make a call and don't want to inconvenience anyone...or could just be going a few stops.. |
boyjo:Most cities have top ten must see/visit places or even restaurants/activities....so these are the types of reviews i was talking But as she said she went partially for business so I understand it's not entirely possible Just got back from 5 days in Barcelona but I doubt i can write extensively but loads of pics of main tourist sites |
Very interesting...wish there's more touristy reviews and pics but seems shopping is the number 1 priority for most Nigerian tourist especially females ![]() Lalasticlala |
he probably had medical insurance, maybe the hospital returned the money to the FG with a note saying his medical insurance was enough to cover the bill.... All the same the bishop/cleric might just be ignorant, FG don't release money at the click of a finger...processes are involved |
It's the economy...no part time jobs, no health insurance |
She didnt reveal anything. She even blocked the guys name. Only to post her own name and picture Smh |
Hmm naija bloggers I read this story yesterday. The dude is apparently from the Caribbean and not Nigeria |
@sutelk Estate agents must run checks and references before leasing out rents. 10days is almost impossible except perhaps you come across a landlord advertising in shop fronts or word of mouth. Depending on the city you're going to. Renting a room in an apartment/house could be easier |

I think construction companies in Nigeria should release illustrations or images of what the final structures would look like.. esp with a mini map so we know what the road layout will be like afterwards @Autoreportng do you have the design plan or final image? Went past this area in march, the place needs this terminus badly!! so congested |
Nigerians need to learn some basic and advance first aid even the ambulance driver could have administered some basic first aid to stop/reduce the bleeding |
This egrissh sef... The moderator sef join put am for front page like that.... ![]() |
Enish is around finchley. New branch |
Any pictures of how it was when it was launched? Not too bad for Lagos... but the buses looks battered and abused!! |
Congratulations to her! I personally prefer to be taught/lectured by someone with real industrial experience than..... i mean especially for business! Impressive stuff nontheless |
Wiseoldman:Are you doubting what you read on the official website? You can use your license just make sure you arrange insurance with the car hire company or before driving |
Jarus:Mbaa for this apc pdp economy.....!?!? |
Jarus:I kuku dey o. Reporting live from Opebi Silently following sir Was at moleye st on Wednesday! |
Inkredible:To add to what mr Lexusgs430 said... you can easily pick up a car....but as a jjc or newly qualified UK driver your insurance could be well over £3000 ....the bigger the engine the higher the premium....also depending on your location |
Thanks Romeo for opening an interactive diary Just want some tips to avoid major faux pas riding uber Lagos From different uber threads- can you decline a ride just because it's not cash? My uber is linked to paypal/debit card. Thought this would be the most ideal method as there's less stress for the drivers faffing around looking for change Do drivers get pick up and destination details when they accept a ride? I notice a lot of drivers saying they call to confirm destinations. Then cancel if they dont want to go that route. perhaps taxify? What does a riders rating do to you as the boss, i notice you rate almost all your riders. Do you check a riders rating before accepting a ride? |
Face cap? |
happen2:Basically they keep charging the passengers VAT but won't pay it to the FG Nigerian business model 101! |
