I the real sense of thing considering the way the roads are and how our people drive it all adds up.
Just left Lagos few days ago.... I think the Xterra fits perfectly, not the best looking car and not naija mechanic friendly* but very practical;

I suggest you get a lawyer to write to them and maybe copy the police and immigration. They should at least show evidence they've posted it to immigration
TravelRe: My International Passport Held By France Embassy by DisGuy(mod): 6:43pm On Aug 14, 2018
Have you made enquiries at the Nigerian immigration office, to see if your passport was ever reported/returned to them?

If you have a good job in US,your health insurance would be taken care of otherwise Medicare is there.
In any given population, what percentage of the people have what is considered a good job/health insurance?

And why do this group people not care about the rest?
Seems there's this "as long as I'm okay" sod the rest mentality!

Been hearing about NHS sustainability for a long time. Come what may the UK will never go they way of U.S system at most it will modify some with the Scandinavian countries

PS there's private healthcare in the UK as well if you want air conditioned ambulance and lavatory

Nope , I meant that even the though the people have access to all that care , they are not the healthiest people in the world.
Hmm I think the discussion is mainly focused on having access to healthcare at the point of need and service offered not generally with choice individuals make.

I wonder what will happen to someone like this if she had been in Yankee

TravelRe: Lagos Light Rail To Commence Operation 2022 – Official by DisGuy(mod): 12:47pm On Aug 13, 2018
Sad Sad news

chances are the Lagos- Kano standard gauge would be complete and almost operational before Lagos gets any rail! one would think Lagos with all its sophisticated experts in finance and engineering would have be miles ahead by now

While highlighting the extent of works to be carried out by Alstom SA, Mr Dabiri said for ease of implementation, the work plan had been divided into two phases, with phase one aimed at demonstrating the non-public operation of the existing rolling stock before end of second quarter of 2019.
They will even spend crazy money for publicity stunt in 2019 just to show us how a train works smh- demonstration?

When our Government talked about giving us speed train.. This was what I had in mind... Oh how dissapointed I was when the "speed train" finally came built By the same Chinese
It's what you can manage and afford...I think the new standard gauge should do 100-120 mph..considering we are currently running 50-80, that is high speed grin

if you have a VW Bettle 1980s, an Audi is a fast car, a McLaren is a very fast car

Lets be realistic many advanced countries don't use these sort of Superfast trains, a very fast and efficient train is sufficient (cost to speed ratio)
