PoliticsRe: Nigerian Police Officer Asking For Bribe (Video) by DisGuy: 3:48pm On Aug 07, 2013
ikp4succes: You guys should stop bashing the police, it never solve's the problem. If i work in the police and am paid 15K naira to 20K naira, i will do the same thing, i don't care what u say on the net, They should allow state policing and allow the state to fund the police at least the minimum salary should be 50-60K naira a month plus they should also give them allowances especially those who has family.. All this bribery will reduce/vanish.
IF THEY know the salary is not enough why cant the look for better job if they think they are qualified, if you pay nigerian police 100k/month they will still be corrupt! the oga at the top are stealing money wit hal the perks of the job so what difference would it make? they get paid more than 15k, they get housing, the get insurance and healthcare
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by DisGuy(mod): 3:40pm On Aug 07, 2013
nubia doll: Hello Guys,

Please I would need you advise on my refusal of my visa application. should I re apply soon or later in the year? I wanted to attend my brother's wedding which would be taking place 31st of August 2013 which I put about N590,000 into my account few days to submission of my documents. I got the money from my monthly contribution of 50,000 per month which I collected cash and pay it into my account myself. this information wasn't stated in the application form I was refused based on these grounds:

in order to be able to make a decision on whether or not to grant you entry clearance in this category I have taken into account your stated circumstances in Nigeria, the reason for your visit and your proposed travel arrangements. you have declared that you are employed by X company earning N145,530 (594 pounds) per month and spend N 30,000 (122 POUNDS) supporting your family. you state that you are married with a child. you have provided a bank statement from GTBank that shows itional deposits which don't appear to be commensurate to your stated income am therefore not satisfied that the bank statement provides an accurate reflection of your economic circumstances. Therefore, on the balance of probabilities. I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor for a limited period not exceeding 6 months or that you intend to leave the United Kingdom at the end of the visit as required by paragraph 41(I) and (ii) of hc395.

I would appreciate your genuine advise. thank you.

PoliticsRe: Lebanese Suspects Planned To Bomb Israeli Embassy In Nigeria by DisGuy: 12:43pm On Aug 05, 2013
jp philips: how did you come about that 40yrs? moreso they came from Kano with their foreign collaborators looking for the embassey in Abuja. isnt that common sense.
do I even know where the isreali embassey is in Abuja? I doubt if you know
majority of contract in the north were done by Lebanese, they have several hotels dating back to that period
we have christain pilgramme going to isreal annually- their embassy is definitely not top secret!

At most the govt should charge them properly for illegal possession of weapons and gun running but throwing in some isreali hezbollah jaba jaba is just playing 007--

*conspiracy* the lebanese were the go to guys for contruction and agricultural project but now the isreali are selling themselves as the expert in irrigation and agro experts, the isrealis are looking to spoil market for the lebanese
IslamRe: Message On A Cancer Patient For The NL Jamaah by DisGuy: 12:34pm On Aug 05, 2013
considering this would be an ongioing issue, i think the best thing to do is to refer to any muslim charity [are there any?]

or prominent NGO for assistance, it's not a one off treatment and fatigue will def set in in mobilising funds through this medium

get better protection like the barbed wire mentioned earlier

And perharps some well signalled landmines--not the explosive one just enough too spook the cattles or anyone that comes close or set those traps, after some weeks they will recognise your farm in the future

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Is Gareth Bale Worth £105m? by DisGuy: 4:33pm On Aug 02, 2013
ekwah: Last time I checked, Nairaland is a Nigerian website on which issues concerning Nigerians are discussed.

What is a thread about how much Gareth Bale is worth doing on the front page? undecided
European football is an issue that concerns a lot of nigerians and the nigerian economy somewhat
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Is Gareth Bale Worth £105m? by DisGuy: 4:30pm On Aug 02, 2013
Eslopy: NO for crying out loud what the hell is wrong with Spurs, if they dont want to sell the player why not reject the bid than placing an outrageous price for Bale, Bale £70M is ok not 100
you cant reject the bid, just because you dont want to sell

the player also has a say...plus the contract he signed recently is being bought out

jpiliya: were you so blind to see from the op that one talal Rohda the 3rd accused arrested in kano was interviewed and he made confessional statements?
biking haram sympathier
THIS WAS THE CONFESSION?

The interview session revealed that Rhoda admitted to having knowledge of the existence of a bunker underground in the house he was found and arrested in Kano, just as the video also showed his admission that he serviced the weapons hidden underneath the bunker from time to time.

how does this link them to Hezbollah apart from them being from lebanon orginally? lebanese have been in nigeria since xxxx years have they really been stalking Isreali since then?

PoliticsRe: Lebanese Suspects Planned To Bomb Israeli Embassy In Nigeria by DisGuy: 11:43am On Aug 01, 2013
andyanders: Our problems in this part of the world called Nigeria, is that our leaders bark but don't bite. I have stated here many times, that our problems here in Nigeria are the Lebanese community. They are the source of high profile crime network here in Nigeria. They get involved in money laundering whereby most of our government officials use them as conduit for money laundering and most Housa bureau de change. use them for international conduit for money laundering across the globe.
Let the Lebanese community be thrown out of Nigeria, just like what the Late Idiamin of Uganda did to them during his reign.
how can they be our problem then? you said our government officials use them for money laundering- meaning you dont have a problem with our officials stealing money but you have a problem using the lebanese as conduit for their criminality
PoliticsRe: Lebanese Suspects Planned To Bomb Israeli Embassy In Nigeria by DisGuy: 10:43am On Aug 01, 2013
“The video was played and it also revealed that those foreign collaborators were taken round Abuja, searching for the Israeli embassy.
after over 40years in nigeria, they were searching for isreali embassy?

“The video also confirmed that they have surveillance camera in Amigo Supermarket where they captured their customers, especially foreigners and, specifically, Israeli customers.
“.

you go fear nigerian prosecutors, so their cctv can tell who is isreali and who isnt? the CCTV at shoprite is also being used as surveillance?

SportsRe: Team Nigeria Cancels Athletes’ Camping For Moscow 2013 World Championship by DisGuy: 1:40pm On Jul 31, 2013
A source close to the AFN told The Guardian Tuesday that there was no longer room for such plan because according to him, the Federal Government was not forthcoming with financial assistance to the federation to actualise the world championship plans.
“The AFN has tried every means to get money
from the National Sports Commission (NSC)
for Team Nigeria’s preparation for Moscow

So they are not credible enough to get funds/sponsorship from the private sector?
