MorataFC:Why are you acting ignorant? It's common knowledge that pharmaceutical companies test on human subjects long before approval. And sometimes they go to third-world countries where the regulations for such things are nonexistent or not enforced. He doesn't mean sacrifice like Kanayo-esque sacrifice, but sacrifice like using humans as expendable lab rats. https://www.google.com/search?q=big+pharma+test+on+human+subjects |
liveLongNprospa:True! It's why I've kept insisting over the years two things: 1. It always begins on social media. If she's always online even at odd hours, she's making moves in the inbox or being moved on. If she's always online without being a digital marketer, there are men keeping her online. 2. If you have no access to your woman's phone (no, not because you need to check it but just having random access to it), she'd grow confident to make certain moves. At first out of curiosity, then later just to get daring. But men are scared of confronting the truth. Wives are messing up online these days, especially those ones in popular Facebook groups. The day men would begin sharing screenshots like women do, marriages would end in an instant. |
BlueRayDick:She doesn't need a logical reason. Once a woman has calculated she can have her cake and eat it, there's no stopping her. She just needs to convince herself to do it. It's why a single mother of two can confidently make moves on a single man with no kids, or why a woman who's been driven rough by countless men can propose no sex till marriage to a simp in hopes of tying him down. If she sees an opening, she'd justify her means to get it even if she doesn't deserve it. And a woman is wired to play the victim's card. Sadly, men fall for it. |
Even those we thought were moderates on this thread were some of the first to celebrate the gruesome murder of innocent women and children by Hamas on Israeli soil 9 days ago. Don't let them gaslight you with the phobia tags. Better be safe than sorry. Remember Deborah. |
larride:Great! Hopefully they implement as is. Bosun would play a major role naturally. It's his turf. |
swiz123:Language is more than a means of communication - it's a means of social identification too. If you think it is much more than this, start typing in Yoruba and see if any non Yoruba person here will bother to engage you.Wrong too. There have been back-and-forths even on this thread in Yoruba and Igbo. I can even quote such exchanges. Oasis seems to initiate some of the Yoruba ones I have noticed here and it catches on. A culture-less person is as good as a leaf in the wind, and language is one of the top 5 elements of culture. |
larride:Well, I-DICE-like. Bosun renamed it like I mentioned he has and refused to make mention of I-DICE. Plus what he announced yesterday is a tiny section of what I-DICE was supposed to do. Asides technical talent incubation, I-DICE has provisions to directly fund founders, bridging the VC shortfall. What he announced yesterday is funding 45 AI researchers and startups - a far cry from the initial plan. ----- But I verified 3 things after the announcements yesterday: 1. It zooms in on technical talents; 2. It makes provision for upskilling existing talents with specialties, and; 3. It uses a Nigerian KYC company for the onboarding process so all the data remains with our government. Bosun is beginning to take the reins but he still needs to FULLY implement I-DICE. Fully. |
joseph1832:Joe, you have the moral compass of a weather-beaten stone slab. Coming from you, no surprise. Water is wet. |
OasisX:I'd rather be called a preacher than a drug pusher. Go figure! ![]() |
BlueRayDick:I agree - it wasn't. I expected concise talking and actionable points from Obi. That every of his supporter has expressed since his press conference. But a supporter of a violence-magnet like BAT who thinks Obi being ascribed as having the likening of a preacher is a 'trollable' slur should have his head checked. At least if BAT had such a trait, state-sponsored thugs wouldn't have attacked voters exercising their right, or murderous gangsters like Oluomo and Asari wouldn't be frolicking with Nigeria's GCFR. |
OasisX:You think this is funny? You do realize of all professions, asking that Peter Obi considers a career in proselytism is actually a completely because he's preaching peace? Now ask yourself who would say the same about Tinubu given his utterances of hate, incitement, and being a magnet for the worst characters Nigeria has on parade? Thanks for confirming one more reason millions of logical Nigerians got attracted to Obi in the first place. |
chrisooblog:When you are done with trolling, you'd still have to face the socioeconomic consequences brought on by the incompetent Tinubu you support. Inflation is at an all-time high, companies and even fueling stations are closing down but you are playing a ping pong of Nigerian political jokes with your supposed comrade who lives thousands of miles from the realities you're dealing with. You will learn! |
......at least some world leaders are beginning to call for two-states solution. I clearly said that I ain't expecting them to win cos only a Foòl would expect an organisation to win a nation's military. If we can condemn Russia for annexing Crimea, supporting Ukraine for challenging them too, I think Palestinians deserve same thing too. decades, logical people world over have agreed to a two-state solution. But logical and humane people didn't try to explain away the unprovoked murder of women and children last Saturday. This was what you and a few other persons did on this thread. The Obama you are referencing outrightly condemned it. |
Interesting how the persons on this thread who on Saturday were waxxing lexically about Hamas being pushed to the wall and explaining away the unprovoked murder of women and children on Israeli soil (including other internationals) have suddenly lost their resolve to cheer on since yesterday when Israel really decimated it in retaliation. Sadly, you aren't going to bear the direct consequences of the unprovoked gruesome murder of innocents you support. Sadly. |
Amoto94:Not tech bros but VCs. Once you raise money from VCs and continue to give equity, you no longer control your company. So founders just play along then sell their stake before they lose everything. The sharks control the industry, mostly. |
"Wish any evil against me and watch it manifest in your life and those of your loved ones in multiple folds." Not even one person on this thread has ever wished him or his evil no matter how heated the arguments get. Yep! Definitely bipolar. Stay strong, dude. We understand. |
Ignore the folks up there. To be a good designer or developer, you begin by replicating existing designs but indicate that it is a clone for learning. As you improve, you'd learn to get creative and daring. Replicating and mastering works by the 'experts' would build your confidence. Let your portfolio reflect your journey as a newbie. |

See, I understand you're autistic and even bipolar, and that comes with a lot of side effects like schizophrenia and not being able to read social cues or read a room properly. I understand and sympathize with you. But there are millions of your kind too. Even Messi is on the spectrum too. Most are laid back but I wonder why your own spectrum leads you to curse out randomly and be maniac constantly even unprovoked. You need to see a therapist, really. That or a jacket. Your choice. |
How the topic moved from Nigerian politics and the optics of current happenings on the world stage straight to one extremist dunking down on and spraying missiles at Abrahamic religious folks is beyond me. It's almost like he feeds off the impending attacks and hates when the focus isn't on him. |
GanagiBitrus:The section of the law is stated therein. https://tribuneonlineng.com/women-fashion-and-law-of-indecent-exposure/ https://thenigerialawyer.com/prohibition-of-indecent-exposure/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C2702686336 Even cross dressing is criminal (Bobrisky was arrested for it in 2011) but since Buhari's era, we have been lax on it. |
Take note of how the response from the APC across social media would be the same lengthy articles by different handles with the same emojis posted widely within 30 minutes of each other. Wait for the syndicated headlines too. Before 7PM, you'd see. Oasis is waiting in the meantime but stalling by the playing the script of attacking Obi whose social media handles haven't made any comment about this issue. |
liveLongNprospa:Even on the wider internet, they are avoiding attacks on Atiku so as not to infuriate him further. Oasis is doing exactly what the directive is - focus on attacking Obi and his people hoping their tendency to be attack in full force would cause enough chaos to deflect. But we aren't taking the bait. They should focus on Atiku - we are just spectators. |
OasisX:Again, he goes back to attack LP and Obi. Focus on Atiku. He just did a press conference shaming you and yours. That's who you should attack. The LP and Obi have made no official statement. We'd address nomenclatures later. Or you're still waiting for directives from the WhatsApp group? |
GanagiBitrus:The Nigerian Criminal Code has a law on public indecent exposure and indecent acts. Do read it. Not a justification for harassment but it's enforceable. |
OasisX:Atiku just gave a special shout out to the Obidients and their tenacity in fighting for democracy and justice. That's the perfect response to your jibe. ![]() |
OasisX:Face Atiku who is dragging you through the mud; or are you scared of the repercussions on a large scale ? Face Atiku. |
OasisX:To burst your bubble, the number of media houses covering your event is dependent on two factors: 1. If it's an exclusive for viewer ratings for TV stations. (Obi tends to speak directly to social media through his handles so he doesn't give exclusives to media houses. Sort of like what Donald Trump did.) 2. If you invite them yourself, including paid coverage if necessary. If you doubt me and you know anyone having an event or needs a press conference in the Niger-Delta area, I'd freely give you the direct numbers of the major media houses' correspondents like Channels, AIT, NTA, Arise TV, Punch, Business Day, and the likes free. Heck! I chat with some on WhatsApp at random times. If I, a regular citizen, can get access to these persons and have invited them to events over the years which they have honoured, imagine what higher standing Obi has with them. He just doesn't need them. Sometimes in trolling, be logical. ![]() |
iamoyindamola:Because it is easier to add other bigoted divisive colourations to move otherwise nonpartisan or fluid-partisan members of the public against Obi who has nothing to do directly with the current debacle. Colourations which would backfire if used against Atiku. So Obi is the easier target (seemingly) they can get away with. And we all know what those bigoted colourations are even without me being specific. ![]() |
Amoto94:Anyone who bins the I-DICE programme is cruel considering it took Osinbajo 5 years to get it done while consulting with tech industry players, including Bosun himself, in doing so. We don't have to be petty about everything. I-DICE is thorough. All partners are ready. Why change it now? Makes no sense when even AfDB has its $170 million counterpart funding ready. |
Bosun, the Minister of Communications and Technology, released a 31-page policy document 2 hours ago on Twitter. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fFtsDMTWoMWd0TXAcTeSRlUfjbOXZNhN/view Larride, we had a back-and-forth about where he's steering it in August. On page 17, he highlighted the Nigeria Startup Act, mentioning a couple of measurable benchmarks. But he specifically avoided mentioning I-DICE which Osinbajo started. You'd stated I should give him more time when I pointed out he's pivoted away from the programme. Instead, he alluded to overhauling the approach even though I-DICE, if and when properly implemented, is the way to go. My suspicions were right all along. |
reccy:Well, I suppose we really would question your education. December 23, 2022 :
Them dey deceive themselves. Peter Obi wont see 15% of votes in Kogi and Kwara, even Niger.
Here was your response: reccy:https://www.nairaland.com/7186774/epl-chatroom-all-discussions/1068#119364780 Obviously praising Yahaya Bello's violent tactics to suppress the opposition. Now he's turned on you lot with Obi no longer needing those votes. I'm always armed with evidence before making claims. ![]() |
monerozi5590:My last two paragraphs were referring to the guy you quoted who complained about the violence and those who supported Bello's violent antics all because it aligned with diminishing Obi's influence in Kogi at the polls. He forgot all but one of those folks here who joined with him to cheer on Bello have no stakes in Kogi even if it goes to ashes. Their own states are relatively safer and more viable socioeconomically than the Kogi he empowered Bello to cage. We'd all learn the hard way, individually and collectively. |
