After several revisions and versions of the bible through the centuries, it does make sense that some things would be edited or omitted.

I think they say that "equality" thing because it sounds good. Throughout nature, male and female are not equal. One must be dominant and the other submissive.

There are few species where the female is dominant like hyenas and praying mantis but for the vast majority of other species males are dominant, including humans. This is a hard pill for (modern) women to swallow---understandably---but it is what it is.

It's just that now women and men who reason like women are pushing this "equality" narrative, unbeknownst to said men, men and women are different in several fundamental levels, hence; true equality can never be achieved. They're simply using the narrative to transfer power to the other side.

When they've gotten what they wanted (marriage/children) they now have leverage whereas the man has all the leverage before marriage. Their true character/behavior is often overlooked due to 'sex, looks or love' and later it appears like they've suddenly "changed". One must have come across accounts of women acting very different after marriage. With marriage and children, they've gotten comfort and leverage to finally show their true colours with little to no repercussions. After all, what are you gonna do? Breakup? You invested huge amounts of time and money into her, into your family... and this is where the sunk cost fallacy comes into play.

Women may be children but what they lack in physical strength and rationality---compared to man---they make up for it with cunning and manipulation. That's why a keen eye and patience is necessary when vetting a woman because even if they're pretending there'll still be glimpses of their real character every now and then.
