Christianity EtcGod Is Partial by djkaneo(op): 1:30pm On Aug 25, 2013
God is not partial u say?.......how then do u explain d case of David, Uriah n Bathsheba (hope I got d names right)......he slept with her and murdered her husband and what did God do to HIM(David himself, not his generations till d end of time)? Lemme tell u....God did nothing.

David counted d Israelites and God started killing them he didn't touch David....WTF....

But somewia in d bible during d time of David, God struck down a man called Uzzah...and what was his great evil that warranted d Almighty killing Uzzah himself? He wanted to steady d ark of God!!!

Uzzah went against God's injunction right......but let's not forget that David did worse.....he ate d Showbread meant for Priests alone and even gave some to his friends and God smiled and said "this is a man after my heart"

so many instances abound in d bible....make una go do una own research like the Bereans and stop being Sunday Sunday medicine Zombie Christians.....Even d bible says "my people perish for lack of knowledge".
Christianity EtcWomen Can Wear Trousers To Church. by djkaneo(op): 1:03pm On Aug 25, 2013
Personally I think women who wear trousers to Church are right. Feminine trousers are quite different from the type we men wear. And from what we know during Biblical times, Everybody wore "gowns"(atleast Jesus and his disciples did) and I guess even then, the men covered their heads as well when in the Synagogue, Sanhendrin, Temple, e.t.c.

HealthIndian Three-month-old Spontaneously Combusts by djkaneo(op): 6:54am On Aug 13, 2013
A three-month-old Indian baby has been repeatedly catching fire
because of a rare medical condition known as Spontaneous Human
Combustion (SHC).
Named Rahul, the baby boy first caught fire when he was nine days old.
His mother, Rajeshwari, rushed him to hospital in disbelief, after
watching her son burst into flames without any source of combustion in
the vicinity.
The baby has caught fire four times since birth and is receiving
treatment for burn injuries at the Kilpauk Medical College (KMC)
Hospital in the southern city of Chennai. He was admitted to the
hospital with the most recent burn injuries on 8 August.
Doctors say Rahul's condition could be the result of combustible gases
emitted from the skin's pores.
"The body burns spontaneously due to combustible gases emitting
from the patient's body, without any external source of ignition. Clothes
and other things nearby that are inflammable may also catch fire," Dr R
Narayana Babu, head of the paediatrics department at KMC, explained .
There is no complete explanation for SHC but some 200 such cases
have been reported over the last three centuries. There is not cure,
except continuous treatment for the burns, according to Dr Jayaraman,
the former head of the burns unit at KMC.
"20 years ago, we saw a similar case - of a 23-year-old man - but it
went undocumented. Several theories of SHC do the rounds but they
are vague and not backed by scientific proof. There is no special cure...
it can be treated like a regular burn injury," he told The Times of India.
For now, doctors say they can only ensure the baby stays away from
inflammable substances such as matchsticks, silks, kerosene oil, etc,
and also stays in controlled temperatures.
"An episode may or may not recur. It's like any other burn injury, with
the likelihood of scars and secondary infections. Plastic surgery is also
expected," Dr Babu concluded.

Nairaland GeneralJust Thinking Out Loud. by djkaneo(op): 5:52am On Jul 31, 2013
In the light of recent developments, I feel compelled to make
this offering. Homosexuals have found voice. They have made
it clear they are here to stay. Everywhere war drumbeats can
be heard. The war formations on each side have the strangest
and unlikeliest of bedfellows- for the first time in a while,
Christians, Muslims and even atheists have rallied round the
same banner which effectively reads 'God made Adam for Eve,
not Steve'. The gay ranks seem just as eclectic and
accomodating, and everyone seems set for the final
showdown.
Now while it is easy to assume moral highground, I see the
need to keep things in proper perspective. Homosexuality, like
every other trait/vice has been around a long time. The first
biblical account dates back to Lot, a time when mankind
wasn't quite a thousand years old, by biblical reckoning.
There is the (unsavoury) remark made about the by apostle
Paul, which tells us they thrived in the Roman Empire. Before
that even, there is documented evidence Alexander the Great
was gay. And the list could go ever on and on.
At the time I didn't quite velieve homosexuality was real. I
wondered (and still do) what a man would exchange for the
tender giggling of a woman, heart flutter brought on by a gaze
into a beautiful face, a woman's juicy breasts, rounded hips,
perfectly designed 'microwave' for his 'sausage roll'.... What
could a man possibly leave all that for? A fellow stubble-
bearded man?? I didn't believe until I had a close shave
during my undergraduate days. I am no homophobe. I must
admit I've come to hold gays in some dread because I find
their idea of sex absolutely revulsing!
Having said that, I think we ought to be reasonable with them,
so long as the remain reasonable with us. And they mostly
are. There exist gay clubs where gays may socialize, so we
don't hear a lot about men raping men. I do not feel they
should be criminalized. What they do doesn't harm anyone.
Those who actually harm us roam free. I mean, when someone
steals pension funds ('I only stole N23b') and brokers a
N750,000 plea bargain, then ideally both the thief, his lawyer,
and the presiding judge should be placed in a straight line and
dispatched with a single shot between the eyes. Until that
happens, it would be unfair to punish homosexuals. It would
simply amount to a waste of judicial time. They will remain
with us whatever we do anyway, same way they survived
through the ages. Scriptures say 'these things should not
even be mentioned amongst you'.
It is the writer's view that they may be allowed to marry. They
may not, however, be allowed to adopt children. That would
infringe on the rights of the child to a father and a mother.
Now, there may come a day when conception becomes
possible independent of 'natural' stipulations. But until that
day, homosexuals may have to remain content with mutual
pleasure and company.
We do not presume to fight God's battles- He cleans up His
mess when He's ready. And that would include mean people
who get rigged into power, empty the common tills, and have
the audacity to proclaim to an accomodating church that 'all
constituted authority comes from above'.
Thank you for your time. I apologize if I have been offensive. I
was just thinking aloud.
Phone/Internet MarketMy Simple Request To MTN by djkaneo(op): 9:07am On Feb 19, 2013
MTN Nigeria you guys should make it possible for Nigerians to purchase mobile gadgets from your outlets at discounted rates on contract......That is the way it is done in the U S of A.....there, phones are bought on 2yrs contract with any of the network providers.....why can't same be done here?

We have been forced to register for National Identity cards. We have also been bullied, till we acquiesced NCC's request and registered our lines.....

What good are all these, if they can not be properly utilized in whatever verification needed to make things like my humble request happen?

Nairaland General9 Reasons Why African Women Remain Single For Life!!! by djkaneo(op): 9:08am On Dec 30, 2012
I lifted this up from somewhere. ......
1. Many African ladies will
end up
single for life because of media
exposure- it is so disheartening how a
lady will glue her eyes to a mobile
phone from morning till night, only to
raise it up to focus on television to watch
another celebrity entertainment channel.
Tell me, what else will dominate this
lady’s mindset aside how to live a fake
celebrity life being promoted on
television channels?
2. Many African ladies
now dislike
cooking and home chores just because
they have been totally brainwashed by
movies showcasing men playing the role
of women in a family, and due to
excessive exposure to modern media that
promotes gender-equality in a destructive
way that’s aimed at destroying the
unique African family setting that made
our previous African marriages
everlasting and envious to the westerns.
Now, with this attitude, how do you expect an
African man to desire to marry you
when he knows he is only buying more
headache and trouble than helper for
himself?
3. Excess makeup turns most
decent
and serious-minded men off- if you
have observed, you will discover that
most men dislike excessive makeup, and
more don’t even like it at all; reason they
often times encourage their true loved ones to
do away with it is because it speaks ill
of a lady even though so many men
will applaud and complement you for
looking like an Egyptian mummy. A
slight makeup is okay; but if you are
out for marriage, try always to look simple and
natural, it will attract better
men, decent and serious-minded, except
you are still living in your high school
life and not thinking towards marriage.
4. Stop giving your number to every Tom, Dick & Harry! No man would
want to propose marriage to a lady
who's always on the phone, talking and
laughing, making unserious calls. You may
not be a playgirl, but he would judge you as
one, and will likely flee at the
slightest chance or disagreement.
5. You don’t
bring any value into the
life of men you date or are dating-
because your best friend married without
contributing anything to the man that
finally married her, doesn’t mean it
will work for you that way. Think, work towards
equipping yourself so
that you can be a value and also add
value to his life to convince him that you
are worth committing to. Adding value
to his life isn’t all about giving him money,
or material gifts, nope….good counsels, being
his best friend, helping him
attain his goals in life, lending him
moral, mental and spiritual support, and
by not just being a liability that only
brings requests and problems to be
solved.
6. Your friends run your life- how do
you expect to find a husband when you
still allow your clique of friends to be
dictating which man you meet is worthy
of your love and which is not? When
will you wake up and face the fact that those
your best friends even though they
cherish you, wouldn’t want you to marry
before them or to marry the better man?
7. You give everything out when
dating- As a single lady who has not
been taken to the altar, you need to
reserve some things for your husband to
be, especially your body. Respect it and
preserve it at all cost. In the past, men rushed
to marry to get certain things or
privileges they had been constantly
denied while being single. Such
privileges include and not limited to:
constant sex and companionship, good
food and tidied home, etc. But today, a single
man gets even the best and of
course more of constant sex, good food
and excellent home-keeping more than
his married counterparts, so tell me how
the hell you want him to desire to marry
you when you have given him virtually
everything he desires from a wife
while being his girlfriend? And the
most painful part of it all is that he
knows that you are prepared to cut down
on sex supply, cooking, home-keeping,
etc once he marries you, so why won't he
want you to remain his girlfriend
for life?
8. You package yourself wrongly- in
your attempt to look sexy, adorable and
maybe appealing to guys, you have
derailed from appealing to appalling.
In fact you look more whorish than
modest; more distractive than attractive, and
more disgusting than adorable. Your
dressing style determines who gets
attracted to you most times. If you dress
high school, only high school-
thinking guys will be attracted to you,
and if you dress excessively sexy and
provocative, only randy men will come
to you for urgent satisfaction of their
immediate sexual urge, so don’t be fooled
by media hyping of certain kinds of
dressing, they are meant for certain set
of ladies you wouldn't like to be associated
with, be careful. Remember,
not all clothes that look sexy are good
for a seriously searching for a soul
mate single lady.
9. You lack manners,
character, wisdom
and good home upbringing-
definitely, your ‘hot girl’, ‘pretty girl’,
‘sexy girl’ looks will win you so many
men; both the good, and the bad, but
your inner beauty, your character and manner
are the things that will
determine whether any of those men
would stay or run after accomplishing
their evil missions. In other words, do
away with nagging, being possessive,
challenging men in negative ways, the
mentality of ‘what a man can do a
woman can do better’, is a lie the Devil has
used to deceive and destroy so many
ladies today, please do away with it.
