You know Nigerians cannot lobby their rep to do this yet advocate for this route, are you sincere at all? The confab resolutions is a document the NASS can look at and pass some of the important resolutions. They can take it as bills proposed by a tink tank group, debate it on their merits and pass it. We do not need to eat yams as if they contain bones! Bottomline is laws are implemented to move the country forward. On another note, the current NASS came into being by a military imposed constitution. So it will be difficult for the NASS to want to change the status quo that benefits them. We need a sovereign national conference to come up with a people's constitution. We the ethnic nationalities needs to renegotiate our existence and after that come up with a new constitution. I prefer this to the first option of NASS passing the 2014 confab but will accept the confab where this is not possible Eastlink: Confab without being approved by the national assembly was a jamboree. GEJ knew this and yet went ahead to waste tax payers money. The Nigerian laws empowers only the national assembly to approve a new constitution. If we are tired of the 1999 Constitution and it’s amendments, it becomes the task of Nigerians to lobby their reps requesting a review and implementation of the Confab, thus passing it into law. |

Forget sentiments and try to look at the resolutions of the confab. If implemented will surely move Nigeria forward. We shouldn't be too difficult as a people else we remain in the wilderness for a very long time Eastlink: Coming to implement which Confab. You called that Kangaroo gathering Confab? Obj did not mean to deal with Tinubu then and besides Tinubu had immunity like Obj. Obj could have easily rigged him out during his second term election GreyLaw: Even Obj a former president does not control what Tinubu is controlling in the whole of the South West. In fact, he fought OBJ for the entire 8 yesrs of their times in office as president and governor. Since when did being a military man translate to having power?
Money is what runs the world, man. And Tinubu has money; lots and lots of it. Moreover, Bode George was former military governor of Lagos state, while Tinubu was governor in more recent times for 8 years and in a democracy. Only his boys are placed in positions of power and they are loyal to him. Bode George doesn't have such structure so he can only complain. In fact the only thing stopping him from being dealt with or even getting killed is his military background. |
Politics › Re: The Crisis In Lagos State Is A Palace Coup Yet To Succeed by DMerciful(m): 6:06pm On Nov 02, 2020 |
Bode George is a pussy ass nigga. A man from Osun state is lording over him and the rest of Lagosians inspite of him being a former military man. I was shocked to learn recently that he was a military officer yet Tinubu has been holding Lagos down for 20yrs and he only whines. Nonsense! justice2010: Efcc is under the ministry of internal of internal affairs. Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is the minister of Internal affairs. All of a sudden as apc congress nears they invite the lagos speaker obasa and former IRS boss Fowler. With Alpha beta matter loading very soon only an insider has the information to cripple the structure. Who is more inside than Aregbesola
Pdp does not have the political will to win the guber elections if it was the only party on the ballot boxes. Their crisis is too much and Bode George will never allow it, unless it is his son on the ballot. |

So if we breakup to Northern and Southern Nigeria, what happens? TecM0:

He is right and also wrong
Offshore deep sea Oil rigs belongs to Nigeria, because it's how wide Nigeria territory is that makes Nigerian water ways extend deep into the sea, according to UN charter
Onshore Oil rigs, Marginal oil rigs belongs exclusively to oil producing Community whose land the oil rig is
Using the principle of Nigerian waterways and International water ways , North owns no Oil , Federal Government does, Northern State shouldn't earn from Oil allocation

Character it is. Virginity that has to do with breaking of hymen is meaningless when the clitoris and labia have been broken from birth through circumcision. After cutting out the clitoris and labia, is it small hymen you wanna protect? Besides, why should a human have sex with only one person forever? Why should a girl or guy of 20yrs not enjoy sex that's a biological activity? What we should preach is safe sex, period! |
