Politics › Re: Falana: Posting Policemen Outside State Of Origin Is Unproductive by DMerciful(m): 7:47am On Feb 04, 2020
You reasons are unreasonable! We are talking about efficiency and effectiveness, you're talking about bribery!
defashan:
Oga Falana is my idol but he got it wrong here.

The likes of Abba Kyari still strike fears in SEastern kidnappers. He is their nemesis. Anambra, Enugu and other Ibo states will not have enough manpower to police their states as their young men don’t join police ‘enough’ like Edo people for instance...besides the Fulanis know the south east geography better than any Ibo person. Fulanis know where to hide and no Ibo man would be able to find them and they can find the Ibo man even if he hides in his cassava farm.

Eshan people and some northern police men posted to Onitsha, umuahia and some Ibo states build storey buildings after a few years of posting. They won’t be able to do that if posted to their states of origin. I’m talking from experience. Check non Ibo mopol posted to Onitsha...traders and illiterate keke and okada men fear them so much and make their contributions at various check points or collection points without complaining and everybody is happy. Katsina, Borno and most northern police men posted to Onitsha, Lagos and port harcourt retire very happy and accomplished. How would they be able to achieve those working only in their states?

Abba Kyari can track a dangerous Evans to the east and arrest him but he has been struggling catching boko haram or other northern bandits, he has been struggling against the likes of Wadume who has protection from the Nigeria military so working outside his state of origin is good for his career and the police.

Nah, using local means he knows if crime goes on, his people will hold him responsible. His direct inaction might affect his own family including.
DAVE5:
The stranger is supposed to be a trained stranger such that he can adapt to any situation, or are you saying an American police can not carry out his duties efficiently if he was sent to a town in ogun state

At least you as a person must have survived in other locations outside your own community of origin

There are pros and cons of sending police personnel outside their state of origin

One of the most admirable virtues of a Judge is courage!
This is what a supreme court does, not the supreme shame we have under Tanko

Ardar:
How come I didn't see you reprimand the OP for this useless hateful thread on women yet you accuse me of hating men.

Oga go and dust your brain.

Politics › Re: I Dare The FG To Start An Online Poll About Buhari's Resignation. by DMerciful(m): 4:29pm On Jan 30, 2020
Election was rigged and ratified by the pretending sharia CJN who was brought in for that singular purpose!
danot1030:
Op we remember the numerous online polls before the last election that favour Atiku who later lost at the proper election and at the tribunal.

Your online poll is a sham and does not represent the populace but the wailers.

If Buhari contest for another election today the populace will still prefer him over whatever candidate you chose.

I dare Abaribe to contest for 2023 election to test his popularity.

Politics › Re: Governor Hope Uzodinma Restores Public Water Supply In Imo by DMerciful(m): 3:46pm On Jan 29, 2020
Nigerians should not be gullible. Water cannot be restored within this short time if things were not in place. Remember when Bubu came in 2015 and there was increased power supply apparently due to the rainy season? they said it was body language. That made Bubu collect praises and did nothing, how did it turn out? How did security turn out?
Nigerians must not allow themselves to be easily deceived!

Backward mindset, but no surprise here.

There is dignity in washing plates, at least I live by honest means.

Cut off from your heritage forever, because of a few luxuries and chicken, lol. You think the white man will make you one of HIM or HER. Keep dreaming.
Politics › Re: What Is Causing Nigeria To Have Religious War While In South Africa Not by DMerciful(m): 3:19pm On Jan 29, 2020
Do your own research. An Egyptian told me while I was in Egypt that their country was formerly a Christian country, I didn't asked much questions because religion is a sensitive issue. Even Turkey was islamized! The first churches were in Corinth. Remember Apostle Paul's letter to the Corinthians?
zhike:
No, i am not aware that Egypt was was a christian. when was that.

This thing of labeling a country with religion is very wrong.

What is South African religion?

You live in the UK? Washing plates?
If you have failed in the UK, don't discourage other people. Try come to Canada and be cured of your narrow mindedness! By the time I get my Canadian citizenship and I'm a Nigerian by birth,
who did you think has more adaptability? I can swing to both of the countries at will.
frosbel2:
Yawn... I live in the UK wink

Politics › Re: Restructuring: South Has Majority In The Legislative House, North Is A Minority. by DMerciful(m): 5:42am On Jan 28, 2020
What is lacking is political will. All the barriers you mentioned are easily surmountable with the right political will.
I will check the SS -Ekwueme link
naptu2:
Which will result in the exact same issues that we have now. How will people be elected to that conference? Who will conduct the election? What will be the difference between that election and elections into the National Assembly (that is, the people that can currently amend the constitution)?

grin grin grin

The truth is that this is one of the utopian dreams that some Nigerians have (along with breaking up the country) which will only lead to the same problems that we currently have.

But it's alright to dream anyway. Black Americans once said that "We the people" did not represent them and that they wanted a piece of land to be given to them in Africa so that they'll start a new country of their own.

grin grin grin

(By the way, have you discovered that the concept of South-South was Alex Ekwueme's idea?)

I should have been getting info from Ipob radio ba ? The first military coup led by majority Igbo brigandage truncated Regional government cos of the need to divide regional power among states n that as worked till this hour.

If those lunatics majorly Igbos have not disrupted our nascent democracy we probably won't be here today n could have maintained our status as the giant of Africa economically n not just in population.
