Someone sent you an airtime PIN from their phone, why on earth would you need to send it back to them.
The text message they sent is still in their phone even if they have thrown away the airtime paper slip and can't have access to it.
What I'll simply reply him would be "Sir, if you texted me airtime PIN, then you should just check your Sent messages and retrieve the PIN from there, I don't recharge PINs from unknown numbers"
This scam is smart, it first assesses how intelligent you are before engaging further. |

Sanchez01: So this is hilarious and would make it as funny as possible.
We were directed to take a different exit route if we intend using a taxi so we moved our cart to the exit point. A lady was in front of us and one traveller at a time is only allowed to exit in order not to make the front of the airport rowdy. When the lady in front us exited, a crazy cold breeze slapped my essence that I turned to my wife what just happened. She didn't have an answer and I wasn't sure if what hit me was the AC within JFK airport or it just came from outside. When it got to our turn and we exited, the cold was unbelievable. "But they said they are in spring, how come it is this cold?" I asked the taxi driver. The driver laughed and just said "welcome to New York". We packed our stuff in the car and moved.
Our destination was about 40 minutes away and all I had my eyes on was the fare meter. Something that was reading peacefully just added $6.55 after passing a bridge immediately. "Ah, do you guys have Tinubu or LCC here?", I exclaimed. The black driver laughed but didn't get the joke. "Please, how come $6.55 jumped on the fare just now?", I asked. "Oh, that's normal around here. It applies to Queens Midtown, blah blah blah..." At this time, the fare had jumped to $49 dollars and I kept wondering what the eventual fare would be after arriving our temporary destination.
Long story short, we arrived and fare cost was $69.10. Mi rogo! Lori taxi!? . I almost had instant migraine because the Nigerian in me just started converting $70 to Naira, in line with the latest Black Market Rate. While I was lost in thoughts, the driver jokingly asked if I wouldn't tip him after driving the long distance. I looked at him in confusion. "But I just paid you, I know tipping you isn't important. The Nigerian in me is converting the fare and you are asking that I tip you again?" E wo l'eleyi bayii? "So, how much do I tip you?" I asked, trying to prepare my mind for one unbelievable response. He looked at me and responded; "usually, it is 20% of the fare", about $7 or so", he replied. I gave him $10 from the $30 change he gave to me, converted $77 to Naira on the spot while he thanked us and drove away. I was shivering almost two minutes after alighting while trying to move our bags into our host's apartment. Cold ran up my spine even with a jacket on and was almost shaking. It isn't even in Utah yet or even winter but spring and the cold is this insane. Nothing prepares you for this as a Nigerian. Nothing does. "But they said they are in Spring" got me rolling in laughter. |

Romance › Re: Nigerian Men Are The Major Cause Of Ladies Bleaching Their Skin!!! by dochenaj: 11:03pm On May 18, 2022 |
Nikrose: Yes, calm down and read! I know most of you guys entered this thread with violence
Apart from some ladies suffering from low self-esteem n inferiority complex. Nigerian men are one of the major cause of dark skinned ladies bleaching their skin! It is obvious and glaring that most Nigerian men have set their beauty standard of a lady to she being fair skinned, once a lady is fair skinned she is automatically beautiful and attractive!! Most men are guilty of this!!!
Most men seems to prefer and attracted to a fair-skinned ladies than the dark skinned ladies, which will end up making them bleach their skin to be attractive and preferred.
Gone are those days, when true African/Nigerian beauty were being appreciated, we are African and we are mainly dark skinned people as a black race! In the good old days where people like Agbani darego are seen for their true African beauty unlike nowadays in the model, fashion & beauty pageant world where once you a lady is light skinned, she have higher changes of winning and succeeding!
Foreigners & Outsider Men now appreciate and cherish our true African dark skinned ladies more than most of our African/Nigerian men!!! Just like how 5yrs old Jare Ijalana was made the most beautiful girl in the world for her true African beauty few years ago!
Well to the beautiful dark skinned ladies out there, appreciate and rock your skin with pride and confidence, stop the bleaching that is not who you truly are!!! Let's appreciate our African queens.
Seun Mynd44 Ishlove Sadly this post is just an opinion and in no way factual. Let me rephrase your topic for you, "I think Nigerian men are the reason why most ladies bleach".
When you carry out a research by randomly sampling 100 bleaching ladies and taking into account why the started bleaching their skins then you can come publish your findings as being factual. |

lexy2014: Did u show both pix to someone who doesn't know ramires and the person couldn't spot the difference?
If u are saying only people who doesn't know ramires can't spot the difference, that means people who know him can recognize him in his new look. Therefore, it isn't "totally unrecognizable". The essence of telling you to show someone that doesn't know him is so that there is no bias, maybe the person has seen him recently and hence there will be a bias. Here is what I did anyway, I just cropped out his new picture and showed my brother who is a diehard Chelsea fan and he didn't recognize him and then I told him, that guy was a Chelsea player and after looking critically at the picture he still didn't recognize him, then I showed him the old pic and he screamed "Na, Ramires be that? He don fine oh" Now that's totally unrecognizable to him. Maybe not for you, so that's why I asked you to do the research yourself with someone else. |

While we preach against murder let's preach against insult of other people's God and maker Could you answer a question for me? Murder and "Insulting other people's God", if you were to rank both on a scale of 1 to 100, 1 for mild and 100 for outrightly heinous. How will you rank both? |

At half time Liverpool must have thought "What? We are back in the race, it is only a matter of matching City goal difference". Well that was what I thought.
Now we can only hope on Gerrard to at least draw them and barring if we win our other 2 matches just with one goal each. The league will be ours.
If Jerry can pull this off, then his replacement of Klopp will be set on stone literally.
Howbeit, City are still favorites to lift the league trophy by a mile.
