Have you been to the East or worked or lived there? If you did, you would know that Igbo is the lingua franca in the east. A young man who was tired of living, decided that the best thing for him was to take his life. He was about to commit suicide, then he remembered what his mom use to say "Repent and come to Jesus and He will give you a new life". He thought to himself, " Will Jesus accept me the way I am. If my parents will disown me, my siblings avoid me and no one loves me because of my evil ways, will He accept me?"

He decided to give it a try. He wore his best clothes, yet it couldn't cover up the tattoo that was all over his body. He got to a church he was once invited to years ago. He met two security men and a pastor in front of the church. He told them he came for prayers and he needed to talk to a pastor. The pastor said to him "My brother, this is a church, it is a holy place, we live holy lives, so we don't allow people with dreadlocks like yours, torn Jean and tattoo on the body". "Yes sir, that's why I came, because I need a new live" the young man said (tears almost dropping from his eyes).

The pastor replied "My brother, we are saying the same thing, our policy here does not allow such dressing". The young man concluded in his heart that God has rejected him as he cried back home. He got home and hung himself. He died.

So I was thinking, what would Jesus have done if he was the pastor? I think Jesus would have listened to him and say "My son, I was actually here waiting for you. I got worried because time was ticking. You came here because you heard me when I called. I know my sheep and they hear me when I call. Then Jesus would pray for him, preach the good news, baptize him and say to him "Son, your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more. Get some nice clothes, have a nice hair cut and follow my ways".

We are Christians because we are followers of Jesus Christ. It means Christ-like. Christianity means, people who live like Christ. So I think the Pastor is just a Pastor by title, he does not have Christ in him.Let us live like Christ because that's holiness.

My sis just got a cleaning job in Australia, she's planning to relocate there with her kids, she's not doing so badly here. She is a senior state council in one of d state ministry of justice. Has an LLb and an LLm. She's hell bent on relocating to Australia with her kids, she doesn't mind dropping her okay paying job of 138k for a cleaning job in Australia. Do u think she's making d right step

If the Australian job will sustain her and her kids and give them the same kind of life they have here. Then she should take it without thinking twice.
But let it be that she is not paying any agency, it must be direct business with the employers and Australian immigration authority. That way she doesn't get to hear stories that touch.

In the first instance, someone made this accusation on Facebook about the lady poisoning Kanu. Is the accuser the public relations officer of IPOB? Is he the spokesperson of the said Nnamdi Kanu? Then why would you translate that as what IPOB says.
Of course the group in question has a plethora of illiterate folks who don't have the slightest understanding about agitations. But unless the group makes a public statement, I will not take the words of the ignorant folks as what IPOB is saying.

You cannot categorically blame the quackery in the health profession on doctors.
The problem is that in Nigeria, we have no working system and add our teeming illiteracy to that equation and you see the cause of the bloom in quackery.
The common man and very surprisingly most supposedly literate folks would rather go to the "chemist" to "mix drugs" for them than go to a primary health facility or general hospital in their reach.
I remember a case where a patient who had pains was placed on 4 different classes of pain killers by the "chemist", of course the pains vanished in a flash and the man would have exclaimed to himself " this chemist sabi mix medicine oh!", only to come down with serious case of peptic ulcer few days later.
I miss President Yaradua the only man who knows what Nigeria needs; "a system that works".

Speak to them in the first instance. Explain that they are disturbing yours and your baby's sleep. Then involve your neighbours so you can collectively ask them to desist from noise pollution so early in the morning.

When a person is in a position of power, he/she commands the respect and admiration of those under him/her and most times this admiration evolves into sexual advances. The pressure is just too much.

While it is natural to find someone out there who you might become sexually attracted to, while married. The great thing about being humans and not animals is that you can always hold back on acting on your desires. We are not creatures of instinct but of reason.

The source of your temptation must be someone you have come to grow very close to, maybe a work colleague, or business partner. If that is the case, you must minimize contact with them and over time the feelings will wane.

The key to overcoming the temptation to cheat is founded on openness and steady communication with your partner and this is the sole reason maturity is a key requirement for both parties before entering into the marriage contract. So, you must tell your wife of your battles, hopefully she will understand and not take it that you are cheating already.

And lest I forget, "NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER FANTASIZE ABOUT CHEATING ON YOUR WIFE, ABORT THAT THOUGHT EACH TIME IT FILTERS INTO YOUR HEAD". If you fail to heed this warning, your thoughts will shape the situation and you will fall helplessly a victim of adultery.
