Christianity Etc › Re: Can A Born Again Christian Marry A Muslim Lady? by dochenaj: 2:00am On Jul 30, 2018 |
delkuf: Please I need your advice. Is so happened that I know this lady for years now. we are good friends. But the problem is, I know that as a Christian we can't really get married because she is a Muslim. So I have been trying to keep the relationship on just us being friends, even though I love her and I know She has this little feelings for me. If I had been serious, I know we would have gotten married or close to that, but I keep avoiding her and sometimes I do it on purpose.
Now, where I get really confused is that, any time i pray for God's will in marriage, she keeps coming to my mind. This is not infatuation or something. It has been happening over and over again. I know God also talk to us through giving us this deep impression in our heart.
It was so deep on day that I told the Holy Spirit that I can't marry her. I spoke with my pastor this week concerning this issue, and he said it is not possible for God to tell us to marry a Muslim and this thing keeps coming. am really confuse. because of this, have not been praying concerning marriage.
PLEASEEEEEE, I need Christians to comment on this. It is strange to note that, you care about this lady as a friend and love her but yet you have not talked to her about Jesus and interceded on her behalf for her salvation and yet you claim to be a born again Christian. |

Oma307: who is pastor when God speaks, he knows how it will happen, he doesn't speak and say can I do it, my bro No. have heart to heart conservation with the lady and ask her if she can convert to a Christan, that is if you genuinely love her. if she says no, go back to God since he has spoken and challenge him. I believe God will tell you the way to go about it If you are a christian you will know that there can never be any supposed "God spoke to me", that should be in contradiction with the scripture. If it is, then it is the devil trying to deceive you. The bible says " Be not unequally yoked..." And that's final. |

Romance › Re: Is Cheating A Mistake Or A Choice? by dochenaj: 12:11pm On Jul 26, 2018 |
It might appear to be a mistake for the unwary, and they could quickly blame it on the devil. But one interesting thing about the sexual sin, be it fornication or adultery, is that it never happens spontaneously. You can tell lies, or slap your wife spontaneously in the heat of the moment or even manslaughter howbeit regrettably, but could never cheat spontaneously. It is usually a product of a well thought out process. After that you have let the idea incubate in your heart for a period of time it will eventually hatch into the act and when it begins to play out you will be completely helpless and incapacitated just like you can't stop an egg from hatching after incubating it. So the key to avoid cheating is to never hold that thought, don't deceive yourself by saying "it's just an obsession in my mind" for as a man thinketh, so is he. |

Even though I'm a full blooded igbo man from Enugu state, i will like to see Ekeweremadu and Abaribe jailed liked Alex ekueme. Saraki should be given house arrest like Shagari. Why did you need to bolden the part of you being Igbo, if you didn't think that was a blatant lie. Buhari won the presidential election because those people joined APC, and delivered their states to him. Your lack of knowledge of this fact, shows how little you know about Nigerian politics, "Mr full blooded Igbo Man". |

If these are the crop of ladies we now have in this country then we are morally doomed. This sickening philosophy is not isolated to just the female folk, the men share these ideologies too. And yes, our society has degenerated into a moral comatose state long ago. "...the best lack conviction, while the worst are filled with passionate intensity." |

They are going to use Nigeriaair.gov.ng and he'll bite his bony fingers in regret.
By virtue of the Cybercrime Act 2015, he is guilty of cybersquatting and NIRA would retrieve the domains from him. He's liable to more than 2 years imprisonment (could be 14 years) and more than 2M fine (could be 24M). By the time the FG is through with him, he'll be begging the FG to collect the domains back.
However, considering how profligate this government is, if they can use 86M to cut the hair of a bald President, they would be willing to pay more for the domain names. All he needs to do now, is transfer the domains to a foreigner and non of that poo will apply to the person. |

HEseesall: I had to open this account for anonymity I'm in a dilemma, let me start like this, when i and my husband first got married we did a joint business that fetched us a huge amount of money, the aim was to build a house, when we got the money, he decided to use his' for his parents (i had no problem with that) then mine for what we wanted to use it for
Two weeks ago we had a major misunderstanding, it was soo intense to the extent that he told me to park out of the house, in the heat of things i told him that cannot be possible that the house is in my name, he was shocked, saying it is impossible we built it together that it's in his name, i had to remind him what happened then, he was furious saying it was wrong of me to use my name, that he cant believe he has been staying in a house that does not belong to him, he told his family what i did claming victim, then he packed out saying he wont come home till i change the name to his full name, i begged him to no avail, i dont even know how to tell my people, imagine if it was in his name, i and the kids would have been out of the house by now, he has requested for transfer from his office to another state cos of this, who does that?? He cant expect me to change it to his name.
Pls i need other advise to go about this, he is a good man but he feels his ego has been bruised, i need other options.
MODIFIED For those viewing this, i have made some clarifications down to page (1), Don't change anything into his name, else just immediately after the change he will ask you and your kids to pack out. If he doesn't come around the fact that the house is yours and his too by reason of being married then let him get out. What "Nonsense". |

Get education Mr. Man. There is what they call Void votes and rejected votes.
Ipob yoots crying more than the bereaved.. Your mathematics foundation is either very faulty or you want to remain deluded to the reality as posited by the fellow you quoted. If there are void and rejected votes, it will make the total added votes for all parties to be less than the total votes and not more. Let me use a simplistic model to explain it to you. If the report says there are 10 votes casted, in any case if any of those votes are voided say 2, it will make the valid countable votes to be 8 votes. And that 8 votes must represent the total of each party's vote put together. Thus we could end up saying, APC - 4, PDP - 3, AD - 1. And never, I repeat never should the total votes for all parties be over the total votes casted, if anything it should be less (after voided votes are removed) and not more. |

angelboy01: SHORT WORLD CUP STORY
Croatia came to this World Cup with only two natural strikers. Mario Mandzukic, the guy who scored the winner last night was one.
The other was Nikola Kalinic (pictured below).
Kalinic was on the bench for Croatia's first game against Nigeria. With five munites to end that game, coach instructed him to dress up and replace another player.
Kalinic angrily refused to play, in protest of being left on the bench.
He saw himself a top player, and wouldn't come on for just five munites. The coach turned to other player Pjaca for the substitution.
After the match, Kalinic refused to apologize, despite appeals from other coaching staff.
The coach then sacked him from the team, and sent him home from Russia. Kalinic flew for holidays, and even posted pictures of himself enjoying elsewhere.
After all, he seem to imagine Croatia won't go anywhere in the tournament. But without him, the team managed to win their matches.
Last night, Croatia achieved their greatest football achievement in history, reaching the World Cup final.
The remaining 22 players are national heroes. Their names forever inscribed in the hearts of generations.
Kalinic is not part of the winning team all because of minutes of anger, pride and bloated ego.
He may have regretted now but it is too late. These stories about life are quite familiar to us, but do we really learn lessons from them? As they profoundly apply to all spheres of life?
Learn to cut pride, learn to control anger and deflate ego. And ultimately, learn to say SORRY.
Years of sweat and dedication can all be shattered by moments of anger and pride.
Don't be a Kalinic God bless your brain, if you are the writer of the above. |

There is a gamble FG is pondering over. To rig in APC and show a stamp of control and influence while garnering footholds for next year elections or allow PDP to win as a show of Buhari's free and fair election policy thus establishing an argument for their disastrous rigging of next years polls. I wonder which option, they will choose. But in the next 48 hours at the very most. We will know. Yes, "we are watching" |

OChimex: To be honest with you, Nigeria is never a country.. It's crystal clear now that to be born a Nigerian is actually a curse.
I was reading on Nairaland here about Nigeria giving about 3 African countries light. Mind you those countries they sell to have steady light, yet pay lesser. And we have no light and yet pay higher.
Don't you think it's only someone stark raving mad that will sell what he needs most? The happiest day of my life will be the day I will leave this country. It is not really that they sell the light per se. Our power generation is primarily hydroelectric. And the river Niger, on which most of our dams are built course through those countries. And were they to build a dam, high up we will not have enough flow lower down to generate anything. So it is more like an agreement. Nigeria builds a dam lower down to maximize the power generated and distribute to this other countries at a subsidized rate. Our problem with power is not generation, unfortunately the people at the top are ignorant of that or don't give a hoot and keep shouting MW this and that, possibly as a way of showing that they are doing something. We need to concentrate more on efficiently distributing the much power we have at our disposal. And until then, any more power generated, is as good as a waste. |

The man spent 30 years because he was convicted of the crime. In this case, I bet you the man was not. There are tons and tons of people in Nigerian prisons who are awaiting trial and they have stayed there for years and their trial keeps dragging for like forever, like if there could be any new evidences that will be produced if the cases are dragged for that long. And you see a criminal case getting 5 months, 6 months adjournment. And when the case opens up, nothing definitive is ever done in each of these sittings to wrap the case up. Our judicial system is a joke, "you are guilty until proven innocent" is the slogan here. |
