Health / Re: Chloroquine Potent For COVID-19 Prevention - NAFDAC DG, Prof Christianah Adeyeye by dokie: 11:49am On Aug 26, 2020
Baybii:
Lol. I wonder the reason why there was so many controversy trolling it.

2 things:
1. Big pharmaceutical companies are hoping to cash out big time from sale of vaccines. Chloroquine is very cheap, very available and can be made by any pharmaceutical company including Nigerian pharmaceutical companies.

2. Trump took sides with the chloroquine crew which would have ensured America wasnt devastated by the disease. The devastation of America by the disease was and is a necessary tool for Democrats and other leftists to label Trump an incompetent leader which will make it easier for them to take over power from him.

Buhari actively participated in the counter coup, a fact he already confirmed in the past. Its just unfortunate for Ironsi, he was looking for 'one Nigeria', trying to build bridges, hoping to mend fences but forgot the most important thing of all, that he was an Igbo man and that alone would make power blocs in Nigeria hate him for holding executive power.

When some Igbos talk about 2023 Presidency, I laugh. Its not a bad thing if an Igbo man becomes President of Nigeria but few ever think what that would result in.

An Igbo President of Nigeria will be the most hated man in Nigeria by the power blocs. Everyday he is power will be undermined, sabotaged and ridiculed. It wont matter how well intentioned he is, just the fact that he is an Igbo man and President, will some people in Nigeria sleepless nights as they try to pull him down.

I pity an Igbo President of Nigeria, what he will go through, he will almost be wishing he was killed after just 6 months like Ironsi.

Igbo man don't suffer for Nigeria tire.

ChimaAdeoye:

You cannot just hope for no war. You MUST prepare yourself with money, training of volunteer youths abroad and good access to weapons. Like the Fulani herdsmen that only attack unarmed villagers, once they see you are ready to give them a bloody nose, they will leave you alone.

So this is where the old English adage:

"If you want peace, prepare for war"

is truest!

That's exactly what north Korea has done. No one is going to mess with them again. If the Igbo's don't prepare for war, we can't get Biafra. But if we show capacity to fight a brutal war, we may have Biafra without firing a shot.

When you dress, do your best to dress decently so you don't arouse people. You can bring out the worst in them and no one might be around to save you from disgrace.

Barely literate abokki bastards forming lawyers. Just look at the poorly written junk of a 'press release' littered with grammatical errors, emanating from a supposed professional association whose principal tool of practice is the written and spoken word. Shameful..

If not for the repugnant quota system that has destroyed Nigeria, how would these fools even graduate from university - let alone law school?

Rubbish country.

I took it for granted that lawyers would naturally write well. But after reading your comment, I had to go read the letter. I must say that the north had better get their acts together for if they continue this their quota system thing, their society would be indescribably miserable a few decades from now. I'm certain other parts of the nation must have severed themselves from them by then.

Just imagine the embarrassing letter that qualified lawyers have written.

Most of what this man wrote ate either exaggerated, or half truths.

Look at the price of rice? it is now climbing to 25,000 naira.

Onne port has been taking cargo since forever. The problem is the volume.

Unless there is significant increase in the volume of cargo that berths there, then nothing has changed.

Are these few things he listed what buhari has done in 8 years?

Except for the high level of insecurity, unemployment, poverty, debt, nepotism, corruption, and death, thats all he has done. And Pastor Adesina is upset that we are so hateful we can't jubiliate.

About 4 or five supposed achievement, none of which was initiated by the present administration, is what Pastor Adesina would have Nigerians storm the streets with drums and cymbals celebrating?

I hope he remembers that only those who are alive can celebrate anything. Nigeria is presently the poverty capital of the world and one of the most insecure countries in existence.

I would celebrate that we refurbished our airports and be silent that mere hunger is leading many to depression, many are in the dens of kidnappers without any hope of leaving with their lives, and millions roam the streets without any form of employment.

What is worse? I can't criticize the govt in power lest it be termed hate speech and I'm sent off to an underground cell.

I HATE BRIDGES, I HATE TRAINS, I HATE RICE, I HATE TALL BUILDINGS.

Life can be very comfortable without them. Give me the basics. Give me my pride as a human being.

I went to Aba as a youth corper in 2006, what i saw there with my eyes made me dislike Orji Uzo Kalu (who was governor then) so much. I mean, how do you leave a major destination in your state in such squalor? Quite unfortunately, other governors of Abia have followed suit. Dunno if Okezie is doing anything about it now.

You're a fallacy trying to pretend to be Igbo. You know who you are.

Igbos come develop a virgin land they bought or leased, compared to Fulani herdsmen raiding you at night. You chose!

I don't see where my statement contradicts anything you have said. Except of course you don't like the fact that i mentioned that some of us are involved in crime. But you know that's the truth. All tribes, races and nations have criminals amongst them including ndigbo, but because people generally envy our progress in business (genuine business), they look for ways to label us as bad, by labeling us all as criminals because of a number of us that aggressively engage in criminal activities. That's whats in SA, and they are trying to use the same narrative in Ghana.

At the rate at which we are going, in no distant time, all nations of the world (including our west african neighbors) would require Nigerians to obtain a visa before entry.

Let's continue the nonsense we are doing here calling it governance. And lets keep hailing our tribes men as they try to get or hold on to power in this failed system of nationhood we are practicing.

Meanwhile, has anyone heard from Abike Dabiri recently? If na one Igbo boy commit crime now for Ghana, she would have been everywhere on social media.

The ubiquitous Easterners have dominated their markets over there that gave rise to the hullabaloo. They should learn from the Ibos jare, the secret of their business, not this hate, hate things. Can they fight with the Lebanese or the Chinese like this?

The business drive and expansion tendencies of the igbos make it very difficult for others to tolerate us, in addition to what seems like arrogance, pride, as well as the involvement of some of us in crimes and other sharp practices.

An igbo man goes to a virgin area and rents a shop to do business. When he goes home for Christmas, he is returning with his junior brothers and other relatives who will serve him in the shop with the aim of having their own a few years down the line. In no time also, he will be joined in that location by some of his kinsmen who think he is doing well in the newly found area. 10 years down the line, they have a small community there and a thriving market. And the locals would be like "what where we doing when these guys came and took over this place"? This naturally breeds some form of envy.

I feel for my brothers.

People should stop talking about Jonathan please. He too was a failure, just another brand of failure. That Buhari has outdone him in mediocrity isn't the reason to revise recent history and paint Jonathan as an angel. It is more like praising 20% score because you are now grappling with 2% score. They are both F9.

I disagree with you. Jona was a failure but his F level is the type that lecturers of a department or faculty in school would consider, based on prevailing circumstances, and upgrade to E ( let my people go ).

Buhari is not a failure, he's worse: he didn't show up for the examination. In all sense of trustfulness, we do not have a president.

Haba!!! Abacha Bad, Abacha Bad, at least he had some good aspects. There is no single thing you can latch unto and say this man has kept the way he met. He has practically destroyed every aspect of this nation's wellness.

So if ibo presidency is a dead cause as you know, who would you rather support. A yoruba candidate or a hausa candidate?

Your response to this will tell a lot.

To answer your question, i will ask you a question maybe two: (1) Why is igbo presidency dead? While you are trying to come up with an answer, i will tell you why i think its dead at the moment.

It is dead because the Yorubas have insisted that they must be president in 2023 directly against the igbos. And for the south to produce a president in this country, they must present only one tribe as seen in 1999 and 2011.

Under this circumstance, (2) who do you think i should support as an igbo man?

As much as what the woman did by trying to steal from the Church is bad, Im flabagasted that a Catholic Priest can resort to jungle justice by attacking the woman.

This is not the Catholic way of doing things. Im even more ashamed of the Catholic Priest than the woman. Even people had to restrain him from really harming the woman.

I really hope the Catholic Church will sanction the Priest to remind others that priests of the Catholic Church should be above jungle justice

Try to visualize how Jesus would have looked flogging those guys at the temple, turning their tables upside down and throwing away their animal cages. I'm sure this priests display here would have 10 times more decorum.
