Politics › Re: Buhari's Honeymoon Over As Popularity Slips, According To GAIN Poll by Dollyak(f): 9:14pm On Mar 04, 2016 |
I am not surprised. I don't know much about Nigerian politics and so cannot give any verdict on Jonathtan's administration, but surely Nigeria can do better than this man with little or no education, intelligence, no coherence in speech etc. Nigerians at home are smarter than this... so we are led to believe. The next presidential candidate should be forced to have a debate about their plans for the country. In addition, they must be questioned becuase this is where you can know who has a plan and who doesn't. |

weedcrusha: Where is the civil unrest in SW? lagos? Isn't the recent attack on farmers in ondo state, clashes with Hausas in Lagos, etc a cause for concern? You guys better wake up. The south has so much potential than to keep pendling at the bottom with the northerners..... |

This is what I call a misplaced priority I'm afraid. What does this aim to achieve? The civil unrest in SWest as a result of the northerners (southern region generally) should be the priority. weedcrusha: Where is the civil unrest in SW?
Because some miscreants fought on thursday which the government resolved the same day and things back to Normal in mile 12, you call that civil unrest. Because Fulani herdsmen destroyed some farms in Ondo like they always do in every other states in the country, you call that civil unrest. Let's even go by your ignorant definition, how does what happened in the 2 states has anything to do with the man? Or did anyone tell you he is the governor of south west? Listen do you think this can happen in any western world. A single attack on French citizens in Paris- Americans in San Bernardino was enough for usa and parisians to take action. Every citizens is valuable in my world, not so much in Nigeria it appears even if it's reoccurring. The inability of the average SWesterners to see the bigger picture is very painful. |

This is why the southwest is losing its edge, they will rather kneel down and respect rather than voice their concern. The average SW appears to be too timid to challenge the authority/establishment. |

Rest In perfect peace Musa. On what basis, policy or actions? trulords: northern is made for nigeria, nigeria is made for the north... basically nd frankly speaking all time best leaders we had in dis country are from the north and I will keep agreeing with them in d position of Dem governing us (a part from d corrupt one's) all of the rest can be manipulated by one thing or the other.. either by ladies(south west) ,shayo or dry grin (south south) , fast money (south east).. just imagining who will govern us or lead us when bubu resign after 8 years or less #early morning trouble# Your gullibility is neither hilarious or sad but rather scary how someone could be this brain washed. |

Welcome development at least. Nigeria needs to do more to reform the aviation industry. The problem is there isn't any solid rules and regulations with regards to safety and operations. Arik air should be next quite frankly. Sh!!t operation both locally and internationally |

Science/Technology › Re: Are We Alone In The Universe? by Dollyak(f): 11:28pm On Feb 01, 2016 |
johnydon22: I don't it is ever possible to travel back in time, not in this macro universe.. Time may slow down, run at different pace at space/time but never backwards.. If time travel was ever possible to mankind where are the visitors from the future? There is a huge possibility for backward time travelling, at least from a mathematical point fo view-based on Einstein's theory of general relativity, which describes gravity as the warping of spacetime by energy and matter. An extremely powerful gravitational field, such as that produced by a spinning black hole, could in principle profoundly warp the fabric of existence so that spacetime bends back on itself. This would create a closed timelike curve, a loop that could be traversed to travel back in time. |

This is not a big deal. Transformers (especially oil filled transformers) by nature are installed to last for more than 40 years in the developed world. The reason why this is a big deal is down to the poor asset management skills of the Engineering firms in Nigeria. |
Science/Technology › Re: The Look Of The Entire Universe In One Picture -awesome! by Dollyak(f): 2:56pm On Jan 31, 2016 |
This picture is really misleading and it isn't in anyway close to being accurate. To capture the universe would be to know the boundary of the universe. There are milions of galaxies in the universe of which are not represented in those pictures. It is merely an imaginative representation of the artist thought about the universe. |
