hillso7: Guys, need your input on this matter.
Request came in to freedom way from Dr ladi, a #500 trip. Decided to take it to complete my bonus yesterday.
Got to PU rider insist I should drive in, immediately I had this weird feeling, I drove in to pick her though with the gate opened. Got to freedom way a request of 1.6x came in to VI and rider said I shouldn't pick cos am taking her back I told her sorry I already did, she said I should cancel though i ignored her.
Got to freedom way she brought out some money from nowhere and stared sharing 1k each to the plantain hawkers as we return back to her home. The money was remaining 500 and I knew she'd want to pay me with it.
Trip ended 900, asked for my details and transferred 700 claiming she had exceeded her limit then dropped the remaining 500 with her in my cup stand. I left the money there with touching it.
Later something told me to throw the money away but I decided to send her a message to come take her useless money before she regret it. She replied I was stupid since then to word from her again.
What do you advise I do? If I tell you say I get your point here eh... Na Scam. |

kanuisagoat: Picked this one on a N500 naira trip Told me to end the trip, go offline, wait for him till he's done and take him back to the same place I picked him.
I'm just here wondering if there are drivers that actually agree to this kind of nonsense. If to say na better return trip self, shey I for understand.
And there's a way people say things that makes you wonder if they grew up under any parent.
"Go inside and park. End the trip, go offline and wait for me. You will take me back". Really? I've had such experience before. Took this young man one morning(8am) from surulere to unilag, on 1.4* surge. he asked me to end the trip and go offline. Me: are you going somewhere else? Rider: yes you'll take me home. I was a little bit upset cos I was chasing morning bonus of 1.2k, and it was remaining only 1 trip to get it. But I decided to let go and waited for him. I waited for about 40mins before he came back. Rider: Oya let's go. Me: where're we going now? Rider: Ago Palace. We proceeded. While on our way. Rider: how much was the first trip? Me: 1.3k ( actually 1.5k but he had #200 discount) Rider: okay. Hold this 1.5k first. We got to his destination @ago Palace Way at about 10:45am. Rider: call your account number. Me: 0731xxxxxx Rider: okay, I've sent you 10k. Thanks for the ride. Me: (surprised) Thanks a lot. Rider: you're welcome. |

Pearl1910: He said trip was N600, he gave driver N500 and wanted to transfer N100 balance. How he now sent N5,000 i stead of N100 is still a mystery. He said he wanted to tip him extra #100, meaning he wanted to transfer #200. How it turned to #5000 is the confusion here. Had it been that he mistakenly transferred #2000 it'll be understandable. Though His bossy appearance here gives an vivid insight to what might have transpired between him and the driver and why the driver has refused to refund him. |

When I heard about the Indrive commission two days ago. What I did first thing in the morning yesterday before going online was to test their payment method. And I successfully topped up 2k with my card even when I still have their 1,100 bonus. The payment is 100% same way you top up your Lekki Toll-gate card. |

Felicity001: My oga longest time... How u dey na?
To all who thinks I buy into the idea, no! Not totally. I'm only trying to analyse the deal in terms of payment and bonus structure, now What I'm trying to say is that, especially if you read my last paragraph well you would understand what I actually meant by asking those who have drove with moove to check the average number of rides they'd done a week.
Of course there is no possibility of always reaching the threshold of even 50 consecutive trip weekly on Uber alone, lets not talk about the period of DTO because we can't say weather is a straight 36 or 48 months or weather it's within a stipulated numbers of year say btw 3-5yrs. You don't expect sb to work for straight 3-4yrs na! Are they mad??!!
I think the highest number of trip I'd done with uber in a month when I was still driving with them was 61 trips some timez I do 45 trips while other times I manage 25/37 trips. Offlines won't even allow me rest or go online, there are times I don't even go online for like 3weekz stretch.
Bolt has the largest market share both In Lagos and in Nigeria at large so I seriously doubt if a driver can manage 60trips for 4 weekz straight.
Anyways, it's their business plan not my and not any of you guys lamenting over it and you would be surprise that in 3-4yrs time we would see somebody(a foolish goat) that did it successfully. no impossibility in Nigeria.
So in a nut shell,it's a good deal if payment period is spread along 5-6years period, meaning that a driver must finish payment within this period and in any 30, 36 or 48 month within this period. If this be the case then it therefore you may want to agree with me that its a good deal and which ever the case maybe such a driver is actually pay less than 5m for the car base of the bonus he/she gets in return. Feli go and read that their terms again. It's either you pay 50k per week for 36months, with no incentive nor Bonus or you cover 60 trips per week for 48months, of which they'll collect all the profit for the 60 trips weekly then give you fuel bonus. 50k per week for 36 months is over 7.2m 60 trips per week can give you over 70/80k net. They'll take all and give you small thing for fuel, which still equates to paying over 50k per week. So how did you arrive at that 3.8m and all you were talking about on your previous post? |

Pearl1910: In Nigeria, city driving is better than highway driving. Reason is, our highways are terrible. Potholes, ditches, uneven surfaces, and long stretches of completely damaged roads. U r constantly on brake and acceleration, ur shocks will confess, tyres are not safe, grits and sand will wear ur paint faster. If its rainy season, it's d worst. You are more likely to do repairs after each and every long distance trip u do such as Lagos to calabar than if you drive within town from morning till night for 3days straight. You're right though. 150km from Lagos/Shagamu interchange to Ore can shorten the life span of any shock absorber by 3months. The level of patch patch and pot holes on that stretch is too much. |

chillex8: For any driver to gross 24,000 without surge, he must cover at least 250km. This doesn't include waiting time and distance to pickup.
Your turnover is very good. That's the distance from Onitsha to Ore. Na wetin person dey cover everyday. I went to the east on Friday and came back Sunday, checked my Odometer and noticed that I covered about 600miles for the trip. It takes me less than 3days to cover that distance driving on Bolt. Cos my average any day I hustled full time is about 200miles. I've been on a sober state since then, thinking about an exit plan. |

kanuisagoat: The bad thing about repairs is, it can wipe off the whole of your earnings for one month.
You go just weak This is why we've been clamoring for you to stop using dashboard to measure this hustle. Repairs can clean your profit for a month, but it can't wipe off your dashboard. |

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by donfortune48(m): 7:30am On Apr 20, 2021 |
Weightless: The idea of the acceptance and completion rating is to favour the riders nd turn the drivers to zombie, so that you drivers cant filter trips or refuse some dead areas, so you must accept all trips and complete all the trips you accept, if you dont accept any one it will drop you ratings so bad that you will now have to do instead of 33trips u were offered but will now do like 38trips to cover up for the only one u did not accept the more you reject the more you rating pummel He question is... 1) what can you do that will affect your acceptance rate without affecting your completion rate. 2) what can you do that will affect your completion rate without affecting your cancelation rate. This's with regards to Bolt's bonus' T&C. |

I say make I suffer this unlucky driver small. But seeing the picture, he looks like someone in his late 50s, I have to cancel.
If he had driven to that pickup location, the only way he can reposition is to go down to 2nd rainbow and connect Apple junction. The pain would be much, but I'm naturally meek.
