Fellas. You need to hear this from a man. A lady of 30 above is not after (he f.uc.k me ,it sweetens me) any more. Shes at a stage where she eagerly nurtures the desire to have a stable partner to herself. Committment!!!.
If you are dating one and shes been acting funny with questions and opinnion about marriage, its her way of sifting through your thought process and where you stand.
Dont assume young women 30 something is only about fun,she wants to settle down.If shes just al for fun with you,it means she have seen through you and already her scanner is on the search for alternatives, while shes still with you.
Dont waste each others time if you are not marritally compatible.
Ops...Nice post. |

Mystiqme: Spot on. Our politicians are not interested in changing the country, and sadly the populace who should be pushing them to action are the ones supporting their ineptitude. @ 14 my brother from another mother, I was replying on my mobile in transit while my data fares.pls read this response and do not believe all those lies about "impossibility" to revive our power sector. |

Useless people and useless party.Even comparing their failures with others as means of justifying their ineptitudeness.
Come and see how SA is working night and day to restore stability to power supply through the country. Useless Party.
Who would have thought fashola could clean oshodi? who would have thought alternative means of mass trasport (BRT) is possible in Lagos? Odenson.
To be in positions of authority should be by merit not by who you know.PDP and their pack of nuisance are good at only one thing..."looting".

Demainman1: Bros, I don't need any woman to praise me. I support what i support and i condemn what i condemn. You can go back and read my few posts on this thread. My opinion is that abroad is too hard for a man not help out in his house. Leaving every household chores to your wife is courting unhappiness in your marriage which may lead to divorce. I do help out in my house. No woman can use cooking and cleaning make 'shakara' for me cos i can even do it better than most sef. Whatever i do in my house is for the betterment of my family.
What i will not tolerate is a woman using my kindness for weakness. My family (including wife) is my life investment and woe betide that person who wants to put asunder (including the wife sef!)
I can never tell how i will react if it happens so i understand where those that murdered their wives are coming from even though I don't support murder.
Again to our nigerian girls: Please don't ride on any man's back to come abroad. that idea it is full of all sorts of risks especially if you attempt to bail out after he would have invested greatly on you.
To my Nigerian brothers: stop going to nigeria to get married. You might live to regret it. A man like me.pray they listen.its even good our sistas are also hooking up with foreigners too. |

Career › Re: Career Advice For Women by donodion(m): 7:49pm On Feb 06, 2015 |
mutter: I advice my daughters to grow up emancipated and proud of what they are women.
If you have your periods- to hell if everyone knows ! that`s what makes you a woman. Don`t go swallowing unnecessary pills to avoid pain or to stop the period coming altogether.
Take off time from work to attend to your family matters! The project can wait or be submitted a day later or taken home . This is what is expected of man and woman. Jobs today are paying more attention to the needs of the family and flexible working hours. In the western world families are dying out because of the stress of combining work and children.
My daughter everything "work "you learn at the Uni, everything "marriage" you learn from me and your faith.
Your first career and fulfillment as a woman is to be a wife and mother. That is the natural role of a woman. Don`t let any silly women who claim they are feminist tell you any different. These women are struggling to be regarded as men and end up not meeting up to the expectations of a man and not meeting up to the expectations of a woman. In is your fundamental right to live as a woman, feminine, soft and gentle, married and nursing and no one has a right to rob you of it.
When my daughter got her first contact with working class women without a husband and kids she came home and told me she was really scared. She did not want to end up like that.
Right now I am here fantasizing about my daughters marriage when the time comes and not her first job. Dear Mutter...Can i follow you? i could but i need your permission? |

Nonso23: Enough please! Stop parodying your displeasure for her stance as sympathy for her condition. You women at times behave like children. If you must backbite then by all means do it properly - behind the person. Use the pm feature and regale yourself these shameful and self serving tales. What do you know about abuse? Have you been in her shoes? Do you know how many people got the same advice she got and are still in the abusive union? Do you know what strength it took her to post her story online? Do you know how much she had to give up to exit that relationship? If you don't then shut the hell up!! NEWSFLASH!!! She walked out and landed another better man in record time. That should count for a lot. She turned her back against society's backlash something a lot of women cant pull off. Give her some credit! Her story is a tale of victory and not of ridicule. She is stronger and tougher than all of you till you go through what she went through and come out sane. She is a model for victims and an inspiration to other women.
She has walked in those shoes through the terrain and is by far a much more qualified authority to talk about abuse. Your lives aren't in anyway perfect and yet you are the first to throw stones of condemnation on her.
I wonder what kind of people keep you lots as friends offline. You help them today and use it against them tomorrow when it is convenient for you all these amidst singing to the ears of anyone who cares to listen about how much of a saint you are and how you can't pass by the next person without offering them some form of assistance. Aren't you even ashamed of yourselves? You even suggested that she has some sort of psychiatric disorder, is that your prayer for her or are you going to live longer if your assertions happen to be true? The Women I know hold themselves together and support each other not denigrate the next woman all because her opinion differs from theirs or read about their lives like witches and attack them personally like demons under the influence of codeine.
Keep her personal life out of unrelated threads and act your age. To think most of you all are even supposed to be older than me and still act like preteen girls is disgusting to say the least . Only shameless gossips will behave like this. hehehehe dude dont let these young women get at you....a foreign girl once call them what they really are on NL.."Bloody Hypocrites". .... |

AreaFada2: .
The problem is we look down on our tradition. Luckily enough it's all there for anyone curious enough to know.
It doesn't make him feel dead, it KILLS him. There is a case going on right now. A young man suddenly got seriously ill on returning from visiting his wife in 9ja.
Even the best medical docs in Europe can find no reason for his illness. Meanwhile he's in hospital for months now. I have gone to see him and examined him too. All parameters seem ok. But he can't eat or get up from bed.
The wife, a Christian never believed when her in-laws warned her about her suspicious ways. She thought she could mess around anyhow, under guise of born again.
Let me tell you how they say it works. It's not magun style.
A woman commits adultery. The man is safe if she doesn't cook for the man or sleep with him. That is, no wifely role towards him. If she does, problem.
Look, I spent over a decade having clinical evidence & empiricism drilled into my head. But there are things we see that confound science. One can believe it or leave it. Guy leave him.Hes not from Edo so he wont understand. |

I am glad this topix resurfaced and ive said more than three times. People change especially when the odds favors them, and most particularly women.
Dudes, wherever you are outside Nigeria, stop bringing your naija babe abroad or be prepared for the worst. It may sound harsh but its the cod truth.Save yourself the stress of the drastic changes our women would go through and turn around to become your bosses at home.
Leave them in Naija. Pick a "queen" abroad and settle.More than often ive seen our women turning to become far worse than foreign women in character.Especiallly those in Nursing. |

David4best: Almost 70% of Edo State young girls date married men. Some will say they don't need umarried young guys until they are prepared to settle down in marriage. Their parents justify the act by thanking those married men for d money and gift those married men are giving their daughters. They are saying young guys are not spending enough money for them. There are many broke guys and unemployed/under employed graduate without a girl friend. The rate at which girls in Edo State are demanding money from guys in Benin City is alarming. At least #1000 for transport fare if they come to your house whereas d normal to and fro t-fare is not more than #200. At least #3000-#5000 for their make-up which is atleast 3 times a month. U must take the U must buy new phone for them. They will lie to u that their phone is not good. U must take them to MR. BIZ 2 to 3 times before they will accept your proposal for relationship. Some will be asking to know your monthly salary in order to know how to demand from u. Some are boasting they can never collect anything less than #1000 or #2000 from a guy. They don't care to know whether your salary is very small or big. They only break those. Principles when they are over 30yrs. Fa fa fa Foooul! who told you its only edo babes.Even you when you first met d babe, she no fine abi babe no dey baff up before?Edo babes dey package well. No be for iro and buba. Guy u dey fall hand o. All those young women married to oyinbo for Lekki-Ajah with "coloreds" kids"na edo dem be? or those one in rivers,PHC wey dey "slam" lebanese and german contractor na edo state? Cool down for Jesus abegi. If you hold peppeh, its normal to spoil babes...even your own madam. Abi I LIE? |
