goodtalk: @ Protocol and @ Dr Dre kindly forward t'he professional saftey manual to me at krixmas.web@gmail.com Thanks. Igweeeee live forever!I'm sure oga Protocol will forward the materials to u. I'm always here by the sidelines having a good laugh. Regards |
@ kwammy5000 Good afternoon. Got ur mail but sorry, I don't really do private email anymore from this thread. Besides, I'm not in the best position to help on Dubai matters and whatever thing u wanted to discuss has been thrashed over and over by people on ground in the UAE. All the best. |
Lmao...someone just pointed a loaded Glock on his own head ![]() |
Hmm... I'm liking the new developments in this thread. This thread is undoubtedly touching lives positively and that gives me joy. @ Yinkagbo As much as I would disagree with some of the things u put up, I will also not blame u for having such line of thoughts to a certain extent. There's more to life than being in Nigeria with a house/business. There's nothing that can compare with international experience even if u live a comfortable life by Nigerian standards. By the time u visit one to two countries and experience being in a system that works, u may not understand what I'm saying. Many of people that left Nigeria for other countries didn't leave cos they were poor. Dubai sounds quite cheaper to move to by certain standards. Trust me, if u are spending 1 to 3 million naira (or more) to move to another country, u are not poor. So the question is what keeps drawing people out to those places? U can lose 600k or more in the twinkle of an eye in Nigeria even if u plan ur business very well but if u invest such funds in developing urself in professional courses, it's yours for as long as u live. It's different strokes for different folks. After u stay for 1 year in Dubai with a good job and witnessing gradual progress in ur life, u may come back and laugh at what u posted. Let me stop here for now. I can go on and on sharing different stories with u but Alutaa has done some justice to that. U have experienced some things with ur trip and trust me, u are now a better person than before u left Nigeria. Threads like this are meant to make things easier and I'm glad it's achieving that. If information that has been shared here can be taken seriously, very few people should have problems with Dubai matters. Wish u all the best once and accept my congratulations ahead. |
Handouts? This is getting interesting. Still laughing ![]() |
@ OP. Are u an Adventist? I remember very well that I first heard this from one of their preachers some years ago. It's interesting that people can always find somewhere to quote from the bible to support whatever they believe is right. |
finecheek: @dr dre I would prefer either sales, front desk job or any gud job to start with tank you.Okay, are u on Skype or Whatsapp? Won't want to post some things here |
@ Yinkagbo and Finecheek Good evening sir/ma. What type of jobs are u interested in? Any particular preference or u just want something to start with? Reply asap. All the best |
Chei! See as oga Protocol expose all the silent people for this thread . I can imagine the shape of his email box now. I'm seeing many new names. @ Protocol Oga Protocol, thank u o. *about to perform dust to dust rites on thread* *Protocol comes in and works his magic* * sprinkles free safety material 'water' on thread* *welcome to the resurrection* ![]() |
@ Osyinvest Hate to burst ur bubble but I doubt if the company is serious about employing u. To start with, they be hundreds of people to pick from here and the chances of them getting a Nigerian visa for u is almost zero. Any interview they want to conduct for u should be done over the internet if they really are interested in u. My advice is don't waste ur time with jokers. @ Al-ayubi Good to see u coming out. The freebies from Protocol don expose all of Una wey dey hide inside this place. @ Yinkagbo Encourage urself and cheer up. No one will do it for u. Keep a positive mind and stay sharp/alert not to fall for these fraudsters. Nigerians are the problem of Nigerians wherever u go to. If we as Nigerians get our acts right, even the dreaded Indians won't dear to mess with us. When foreigners see how we wreck havoc on our fellow countrymen, how do expect them to treat us? This is one reason I find it hard to blame foreigners for problems we face in other countries. |
I never imagined the number of people in seeing here in this thread. The offer by Protocol really dragged people out. Many people just 'enter' quietly and 'sit'. @ Protocol Thanks for ur kind gesture. May GOD reward u immensely. @ All Regards to every active and inactive member here o. May GOD bless us all. Have a good evening all |
mr.drizzy:Abi o. See the Meizu guys too. Anyway, I hope the new guy with them will also convince them to launch into the international market. It's just torture following all the updates and new releases without being able to get them easily. That's why is want to pitch my tent with the Oppo guys for now. They've even release 4.3 ROM for their Find 5 while some known names are still waiting for updates. |
@ Mr. Drizzy Tech companies, most times, have a way of ripping people off. As much as I desire these phones, I'm suspecting in the next few months many people will reconsider their options before investing in phones without 4g. I'm just hoping the Oppo guys will do a complete job with the N1. |
pj3400: I quoted protocol message here and supply him with my email address just to request for the materials and he did as if he never saw it and refused to say something as regard my request and yet, he still posted so many times after that.Ha! Oga PJ, calm down please. Don't be angry about that. At least, give him the benefit of doubt before insinuating all these things u mentioned. What makes u think u are the only one waiting to receive the materials from him? Just be patient. Let him give u his reasons for the delay. Asides that, u never can tell who else might be reading here and in possession of tons of materials so don't go 'guns blazing' cos of the slight delay in having ur request granted ![]() @ Bube Most atm cards from Nigerian banks will work but the charges are killing as Ogakpatakpata mentioned. Let me give u an example. On every 400k - 500k naira, u will lose around 27k - 32k naira to bank charges. So there's nothing like having ur cash from Nigeria and if that's nor possible, try and find someone who wants to wire cash home and swap currencies. Hope u get my drift. All the best. |
Smh... Here we go again. > ![]() |
protocol: @ Dr Dre, thank you Master! the material is a very mighty one. where do i send it to? is it ok to drop emails here? because of scammers? just give me an address and is there!I no be master pls o. I'm just a small boy in the desert. That said, I won't be able to drop my email address here cos of recent happenings here. I'd P.M u through Nairaland though. While u are reading this line, my message would have gotten to ur mail. Thanks |
@ Protocol U are so fortunate to have come in contact with the white man. It's a very good thing u are already exposed to all those trainings and certifications. The rig safety one especially would make u very attractive to potential employers in the oil & gas sector here. As for the materials, let me be the first on ur list when u want to start giving them out. I'm in that line of work myself. All the best |
@ Ogakpatakpata He has what it takes to really do well here. The certifications he listed are what people get here and start registering for. So if he can defend them well, the sky is the limit to what he can achieve here. I'm sure he didn't wake up and just invest in those trainings. He must have someone in that line of work or he's doing something related to safety as a whole. |
protocol: Hi guys, i have done the following safety courses in nigeria ![]() |
*peep* |
No thanks to this thread, my years of abstinence from noodles went with the wind yesterday. ![]() |
This is wicked o! After I stopped myself from eating this type of noodles |
Adetayomi: Just to confirm what Dr Dre said my friend equally told me two weeks ago the embargo on Nigeria visa.my Brother thank God for people like Dr Dre just follow the agent gently and follow this trend to know when d embargo will be lifted good luckThanks for confirming it too sir. Even with all these, u will still see people falling for someone that says he will get the visa within 7 days. People just don't want to listen to the truth most times. They already have what they want to hear playing in their heads so when u try to tell them something different (which is the honest truth), it's quite hard to take in |
Luvly devin: Hmmmmm well am still yet to get my visa o, all this agent matter no tire me o, nairaland please be careful with all this fraud agents here and there, since our last conversation it's been so so postponement to postponement, anyway to cut the long story short, he just told to wait b4 month endingI warned u about that agent right from the beginning. Let no one deceive u. There's a strong embargo on Nigerian visas at the moment. U must have strong connections to get it. All the agent did right from the beginning was to buy some time. He should have just told u the truth. I'm not saying it's impossible to get ur visa at the end of the month. All I'm saying is there's a delay cos of developments here he's not telling u or aware of. Think twice if anyone tells u they can get u Qatar visa within 7 days. After exchange of cash, 'tales by moonlight' will start. Wish u luck |
mikelreal: Pls oo, if u can contact the mod that dealt with this scammers, cos they ve ported to my thread ooLol... This got me laughing ![]() Hopefully, Justwise can come to ur rescue. |
justwise: I agreed with everything you said but not the bolded part as i don't believe that there is anything secret/private about securing a visaI wasn't referring to anything in the line of securing a visa. For example, there was the case of someone that wanted to confirm his visa and needed to give his name and other details like passport number, etc. Cases of this nature are rare but I only mentioned it. Also, there's no where I dropped any number or contact info. |
I'm quite lost for words. Recent happenings have really been revealing. @ Ogakpatakpata Keep up the good work. Good & truth will always prevail over evil & lies forever. GOD bless @ Everyone For personal reasons, I will not be entertaining any email requests from anyone here anymore. If there's anything u need my attention on, post it here and if it requires a level of privacy, I will treat it through phone calls. Just trying to help people in my own little way. May GOD help us all. |
Chei! Nairaland and all sorts of drama. Thumbs up to everyone doing a great job here |
Ayesa: DR.DRE BABA,please how much will NEBOSH cost in Qatar or Dubai because i strongly believe as a civil engineer graduate NEBOSH is more recognized worldwide than OSHA and ALISON though Dubai is my target for now.In Nigeria here NEBOSH is more than three hundred thousand Naira when i wanted to do it hereGood afternoon ma'am. NEBOSH is way way bigger than courses from the two websites put together. I only put them up cos it's a good way to start for fresh people in the field of safety. Asides that, I know several people who got good jobs with just the OSHA online course with even as high as 7k per month. NEBOSH IGC (which is the foundation course)is around 4500 -5000 in most centers and its usually offered with a diploma from IOSH. A training school I know offered it with an advanced diploma at a time. Just do a rough calculation with 1qrs to 44naira to have an idea of the naira equivalent. Take care |
justwise: emirate prince = larry4eva, dubai4eva, and tricialarry, yankeemasterWow! @ Ogakpatakpata Congratulations sir. U have just been saved. I really wish to hear the concluding part of the man's experience. Maybe everything got sorted out. @ Justi4Jesu Very nice explanation. GOD bless |
peaceheartt: Hello Dr Dre, good job u're doing here pl keep it up n d good Lord will continue to bless u n urs IJN. Pl I'd like to know, re diz programmes only for security personnels?Amen and u too. The NEBOSH and OSHA are meant for safety related jobs mainly. The ALISON website contains courses on so many fields apart from safety and they add more from time to time. Just go through and pick any one that interests u. Have a blessed weekend too |
henrimoto: thank u sir... 4 dis answer. igwee, hope one can still use some of these certs in dubai... or UAE as in general..? because, 4 me, i do nt no who go dash monkey banana to qatar...lolz ehee, dr dre, dat reminds me. any time u see my face in qatar, just remind me, i owe u 2 point and kill catfish and ur favourite 9ja beer.... hahahahahaha, lolz. how about dat?U are welcomed sir. U can use the certificates in many parts of the world. OSHA is from U.S while NEBOSH is from U.K. If u invest in trainings in Qatar, I can bet u that u will make ur money back with good profit lol. As for ur offer, sorry to burst ur bubble, I don't drink lol. Thanks anyway. |
