thorpido: The headship of hospitals should not be the exclusive right of medical doctors.Administration is totally different from medicine and surgery. Some doctors by experience go on to become good administrators but to automatically make the most senior the head is not right.
That's why i like developed countries. They know how to set up their structures. There is even a course called Hospital Administration and you don't have to be a medical doctor to study it.
Ma broda u spoke well and I do agree with something u said.
@ OP, only a non health personnel would ask this. There is something called health management, hospital management, etc. which sadly does not exist in Nigeria. These are people that should run hospitals and health care instituitions...I would have liked to say more but would stop here.

CyberG: When will Nigerians support a man like Fashola for president? Or would you all rather die as slaves to PDP, the retardeen and paid hacks on NL, cutting off your noses to spite your ugly faces?? I don't need a re-write of his speech but here he is giving facts and figures saying exactly how many roads are in Lagos, and owned by FG, SG and LG...such details. Did the retardeen care for such details as governor and now as president?? Why would he, when he doesn't give a damn! Imagine Nigeria having a president who will tell you how many roads are in your town and villages, the one that belong to the FG and what and when they will be upgraded, fixed, etc?

If Nigerians don't support Fashola, I can bet he can not suffer for food or material things. Neither would I for I am so far away and have everything I need and much more! However, I am confident that 99% of Nigerians are the ones who will suffer after they have been brainwashed by some little change and a lot of propaganda from the PDP. As you lay your bed, so will you lie on it!
nigerian will not support fashola for president. It is time we Nigerians try to elect public officials not cos of sentiments but cos they can do job and not be weak like GEJ, stubborn like OBJ and slimy like IBB.

Sports › Bayern Boss Faces Jail Terms Among Scandal Case Of 600 Mil Euro In Switzerland by drnoel(op): 9:59pm On Apr 28, 2013
He won soccer’s World Cup on his home soil as a player in 1974. The son of a butcher, he grew rich as the co-owner of a bratwurst factory in Nuremberg.

This year, as president of one of Europe’s most-storied sports teams, FC Bayern Munich, Mr. Hoeness has overseen a record season on the field and record revenues off it. He even managed to walk away in 1982 from a plane crash that killed the other three on board.

Now, though, the former soccer striker renowned for his speed finds himself embroiled in a scandal that has transfixed a nation and left his reputation for rectitude and generosity in tatters. He faces up to 10 years in prison after turning himself in to Munich prosecutors for keeping a secret bank account in Switzerland that he admits to having used to evade taxes.

On Monday, the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported on its Web site that the money in the Swiss bank account had come from a former chief executive of Adidas, Robert Louis-Dreyfus, who provided about $13 million in cash and guarantees to Mr. Hoeness to invest. Though Mr. Hoeness paid Mr. Louis-Dreyfus back, Adidas also was allowed to buy a stake in the athletic team’s soccer business.

A record number of viewers tuned into German public television’s flagship Sunday talk show, the Günther Jauch show, to hear a panel of tax experts and sports analysts debate Mr. Hoeness’s ethical and legal failings. Left-wing politicians condemned him, and friends in conservative circles, including Chancellor Angela Merkel, sought to distance themselves.

“Many people in Germany are now disappointed in Uli Hoeness,” Ms. Merkel’s spokesman, Steffen Seibert, said at a news conference Monday. “The chancellor is one of those people.” After hammering Cyprus, the tiny Mediterranean island, over money laundering during the debate over bailing it out this spring, the many photos of her next to an admitted tax cheat are especially uncomfortable for Ms. Merkel.

In this election year, tax evasion already had emerged as a significant issue. The left-wing opposition scuttled an accord between the German and Swiss governments that would have offered amnesty to people like Mr. Hoeness in exchange for back taxes. Instead of the chance to anonymously pay what he owes, he has become the poster boy for an economic system believed to be rigged against the little guy.

Mr. Hoeness is hardly the first prominent German caught up in a tax scandal. Boris Becker, the Wimbledon tennis champion, was convicted of tax evasion in 2002 and was sentenced to two years of probation after a court found he was living in Munich while pretending to reside in Monaco, a tax haven. In 2008, the authorities raided the home and office of Klaus Zumwinkel, a former head of Deutsche Post, a mail service, because he used a foundation in Liechtenstein to avoid more than $1 million in taxes. He also received a sentence of probation.

Tax evasion has become more emotional as the gap between rich and poor has widened in recent years. The labor-market reforms that led the German economy to greater competitiveness, with employment and export figures that are the envy of a stagnant Continent, also pared back the social-welfare state and forced many into low-paying jobs.

Rampant speculation over how many millions of dollars Mr. Hoeness, 61, squirreled away south of the border — neither he nor the prosecutor is saying — have only fueled interest in Mr. Hoeness’s story.

After telling Focus, a magazine, that he had indeed turned himself in, Mr. Hoeness has largely declined to comment. But he threatened in an interview with a local Munich newspaper, Münchner Merkur, to sue news media outlets for irresponsible reporting.

A spokesman for Vontobel, a Swiss bank, where Mr. Hoeness reportedly kept his money, would neither confirm nor deny that he had an account there. Focus reported that investigators had raided his home in Bavaria after he informed the authorities in January about his Swiss account.

“An investigation was initiated,” said Ken Heidenreich, a spokesman for the Munich prosecutors, speaking by telephone on Monday. Investigators were looking into the “completeness and validity” of Mr. Hoeness’s voluntary declaration.

Mr. Hoeness had to come clean about all of his overseas accounts and all the money in them to avoid criminal prosecution. If an investigation into his finances were already under way before he turned himself in, the voluntary declaration would be moot and he could still face jail time.

Experts say it will be months before the legal and political ramifications are clear, but casual fans have begun asking how much of a distraction the scandal will be for the club. Bayern Munich hosts Spanish powerhouse Barcelona on Tuesday in a semifinal of the European Champions League. Bayern officials banned questions about the investigation at a news conference in Munich on Monday.

[quote author=Rabboni-X]German school children as young as five were given a sex-education book giving graphic advice on how to put on a condom and how to achieve orgasms.

Outraged parents complained when youngsters at a school in Berlin were given the book, called 'Where Do You Come From?', which features explicit cartoon depictions of sex.

The book, which shows a couple called Lisa and Lars engaging in various of stages of intercourse, shows Lisa putting a condom on Lars and another image of the pair having sex.

jidegirl12: 2ce. cool ( all inclusive, not 5mins quickie oh)

You're a working mom, a sane and supportive hubby should understand.
It doesn´t work like that. One can never be too tired for sex. Experienced maried couple say that the best time to have sex is when one is too tired to have it, now this is different from if the person is not in the mood for it. Sex should not be prepared for neither should there be a roaster and appointment date to have it. Things like that spoil the thrill, the aura and feeling of having sex with some a spouse. Sex should just come spontaneous, should come with the flow of the situation. Cos thats when u would enjoy it. Married working class women are not exempted from this. Cos when they allow this to cause trouble in their homes, they are making a serious mistake.

Romance › Re: That Nigeria Man Will Never Marry You - A Warning To East African Women by drnoel: 6:59am On Apr 27, 2013
brixton: It seems that dating Nigerian men has quickly become a trend in East Africa. The 'show me your Oga I show you mine' syndrome has rapidly spread and these men have even replaced the white man preference. But what many women don't know is that they will wine, dine and Bleep you but never marry you.

I spent a few weeks in Nigeria early this year and the picture I got from them- people behave differently when in their original environment- was rather different. Nigerians tend to avoid contact with foreigners, especially their women. It's only ashawos that date white men or men from other cultures- did I say date? Sorry, sell is more like it. Your average girl next door Nigerian woman will not even look at foreigner so this creates an unfair advantage for the Nigerian man. However this is not why they will not marry you. The reasons are:

Their Mother

Nigerians are a very cultural lot. Despite travelling, exposure to other cultures, copious naira they still maintain their culture- look how they dress. So a mother would not want a foreigner for a daughter-in-law to bring 'conflict' into their culture. Especially from a culture that is so influenced by the West that they cannot kneel down in front of their husband's mother or cook traditional foods.

Nigerian Women Traits

Nigerian women love their men and put up with so much shit from them. A man will meet you, move you to America then leave you there to give birth as he stays in Nigeria having fun with other women. And the women are okay with this. Which East African woman can agree to be left in a foreign country to just produce children so they can get foreign passports? The rationale of the women is that "Well, as long as he is providing for my needs I don't care what he does!" Even if he runs around with other women she has her car, her house and is living abroad.

Aggressive East African Women

Nigerian women are very aggressive and loud but they can never raise their voice or fists to a Nigerian man. The East African women are the opposite- they abuse and can sometimes turn violent (Kenyan women especially because Ugandan women are ladies.) So the Nigerian men fear them and can't even contemplate marrying such a person. Nigerian women release their aggression on other women not their men...so they guy knows he can Bleep around but it's his girlfriend who shall get slapped.

EQL

East African women are Easy Quick Lays. All a Nigerian has to do is drive them in his big car...knickers drop. Take them to a fancy restaurant...knickers drop. Buy them champagne...knickers drop. Buy them an iPhone...knickers drop. Nigerian women are tougher to bed thus a greater challenge and greater respect. To bed a Naija woman you buy her a car...buy her a house or even buy her a jet. Some men take a chick to Europe for a week and still sleep in separate rooms and even when they return back to Nigeria the guy gets nothing until he proposes. An East African would drop her knickers at the idea even before the purchase of air tickets or visa application even.

So, as he takes you out...and you drop your knickers. As he buys you champagne...and you drop your knickers...as he buys you phones...and you drop your knickers- just know he shall never marry. He will leave your ass and go marry a Nigerian woman. The only ring you'll ever get from a Naija man is a call saying he never wants to see you again.

Politics › Re: Social Media Critics Should “fear God”, Information Minister, Maku Says- by drnoel:
Gooogle: By Sani Tukur
The minister claimed critics were using social media to slander Nigerian officials.

The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, has called on people he said use social media to ‘slander’ the government, to search their conscience and stop the practice.

Mr. Maku, who spoke via his Press Secretary, Joseph Mutah, in a release on Tuesday, was reacting to a publication he said appeared on an online medium.
The minister described as false the story that the First Lady, Patience Jonathan, was interfering in some appointments in the Federal Ministry of Information and parastatals under the Ministry’s supervision.

“It is absolutely false the report which attempted to connect the First Lady, Dame Dr. Patience Goodluck Jonathan to issues of appointment in the Federal Ministry of Information,” he said, adding that, “the report is false and malicious”.

Mr. Mutah therefore, “urged those peddling this slander and similar slanders in the social media to search their conscience and redeem themselves from the path of destruction they have subjected our society to.”

He said the media report surrounding the first lady is “a cocktail of lies and the handiwork of vicious characters that specialize in tarnishing the good reputation of decent people and leaders in the society”.

He also said the report shows how very low some people can go in abusing the reputation of the social media in Nigeria.
“They offer fiction and slander freely to the public without conscience. They neither respect the laws of the land nor fear God. They continue to destroy the well-earned reputation of worthy citizens and leaders for selfish reasons.

“They should leave this ignoble task and embrace God and decency for the good of themselves and the society,” he said.

http://saharareporters.com/news-page/social-media-critics-should-%E2%80%9Cfear-god%E2%80%9D-information-minister-maku-says-premium-times
if the public can use social medias to keep them awake and on their feet so be it. Atleast let it be one of the things we can do to make these fools at the top stay alert. Long live Nigeria. long live the social medias used to make them unconfortable. Long live social media posters and threaders who keep awake to write their posts and commentaries. You guys out there, we luv u all. Keep the good work. Let us make em very uncortable so that whenever they take that sit of power up there, they would be careful what they do cos the people would critize failure to perform.
