Now how does that statement vilify Jesus? Yes he mentioned Jesus; one could say he should not have done so bc He is revered by Christians but unfortunately he used it to explain the doggedness of Jonathans people to condemn anything whether reasonable or unreasonable; and his mentioning of Jesus was almost in the same manner OBJ did when he said even if Jesus was to oversea an election in Nigeria, people will still have issues with it. He actually must have meant in the sense that even if the most righteous and revered human who ever lived criticized Jonathan, his dogs will still bark out at that person. And that for me is honoring a figure(Jesus) that naturally a normal Muslim will tend to denigrate.

Power was a bit stable in Akobo, Ibadan but we seem to be returning to status quo this week. Power is on this Moment and if it goes its restored in about an hour.

Its funny that anyone will think I was employed to de mean Rochas. Check my history I had praised him before and even suggested him for 2015 presidency but I had always been uncomfortable with his propaganda and his quick use of the name Jesus in his speech to lend religious credence to his actions. fro, experience people like that are usually phony.

There is nowhere written in the NT that men should be the means via which we hear from God. Heb 1:1, paraphrase, in the former times God spoke to us through prophets, i.e men, today he is speaking to us through his Son Jesus Christ, i.e, the Spirit of God within you. What is God witness to you? Do you love the girl? Do you have your peace over the relationship? Have the two of you agreed on marrying each other: not that one party is half convinced? If the answer is to the affirmative, that is all you need.
There are too many charlatans out there seeking relevance in the name of Christian ministry; don't allow them to ruin your life for you.
Finally I think you should be more concerned with convincing your parents on scriptural reasons for your wanting to get married, while showing them, especially your Dad, that the best of prophets are still men at their best; talk less of when they are simply charlatans. While you do not need the pastor to agree to your marrying that girl, you still need your parent's agreement and blessings.
