No it is not a free world. That is the misconception you have. Life is not free. There are laws which govern society. Even nature has laws.

If you have a concern with the law, raise it with your house of reps member after securing a number of signatures from people who support your motion. The law can then be debated.

The Police are not hypocrites. They are doing their job. If you have evidence of a crime, send it to them.

She has broken the law. If she is Nigerian or not will be determined by the Police. Right to live doesn't equate having sex with a dog. Freedom without responsibility and guidelines is anarchy. You can go establish a society where there is such freedom and see how long it lasts. There are laws to protect society. I have no qualms with the police doing their jobs in this case.

A crime has been committed. It is good the Police investigate and make an example. I am sure once she is caught - the other individuals will also be tracked.

One thing is also clear. Quite a number of Nigerians don't know the laws of this country. There is nothing like it is her life. People have committed a crime.

My concern here is that the focus is money. The love of money is the root of all evil. Don't lose sight of the important qualities in your partner because of the love of money. Don't forget the adage; if you want to know a person's true behaviour, give them power and money.

My first advice to people is not to watch the video. That is child pornography in most civilised climes. I expect Nairaland to take action to delete every single link and trace of the video. If you have the video on your phone, in your inbox or any device - delete it. That is child pornography. You can get into trouble for having viewed it willingly and you will get into trouble for sharing it. Nairaland should put up a warning. This is child pornography. This site should not be a source for it.

Second advice: people should try to be sympathetic and empathetic when discussing this case.

Third advice: All the involved parties will need to sit down to discuss. Those boys have just had sex with a minor and not in Nigeria - in the UAE. I don't know what laws apply in that nation and also what laws apply in Nigeria.

Fourth advice: The die is cast. The little girl may have done the action of an adult but she has no clue the seriousness of what she has done. I repeat no clue. This applies to the boys as well. Parents need to become firmer on this crap. Sexual talks at that age is not new. Parents draw lines and establish boundaries.

Fifth advice: As a society which has descended into poor morals in almost every sector - film, music, politics, education ... We really need to take a stand. I see female persons even commenting on how the girl did in the video. I can't even talk.
