Yes, you have to proof you have ties and that you will be returning at the end of your visit regardless of who invites and sponsors your trip

You might need to post this in the visit visa thread so you get a alot of responses there.

Do you have 3 different dob's in your WAEC, passport and NPC certificate? Which one corresponds with which?

I know affidavit could work when there are errors in names but not sure of DOB's, which is easier to correct? WAEC or passport?

An explanation on how the dates are wrong could help. The options may be an Affidavit or actually applying to correct one of the documents (whichever is easier).

In most cases it won't be looked at until when it's close to your intake.

They won't skip May and September 2022, January and May 2023 to yours.
It will be in the queue till when it's close.

If you do decide to proceed you always have your application number to track your progress when it's time next year

If its stated that the father have a reasonable access i think thats where the problem is...meaning she still needs the consent od the father before she can travel with her....but seek the advice of a lawyer Please we need an advice on what to do. My friend who is divorced applied for visa for kids to join her in the UK as dependent. The visa was refused today and the reason is because the both parent must have a valid visa or one parent must have sole custody which she does have. Prior to this day, she received a mail from ukvi to send additional documents to prove custody or fathers visa, she did and responded with the divorce paper which shows the custody arrangements on the last paragraphs and she has the full custody of the children ,their father has reasonable access but shockingly she was still denied.

Please what do you advice? To reapply or do a administrative review( note, the Eco said if she thinks, there is a case error in the application, she can apply for AR)

These days marriage/registry certificate is not sufficient, just like others have responded, you have to submit other documents to prove your relationship/marriage for instance old pictures and messages from as long as possible, randomly selected.

No one can confirm if a visa will be granted, you just have to prepare.

Calculate the maintenance funds at the Oanda rate he used when he made his application, then calculate the maintenance funds for 2dependants with current Oanda rate, that will confirm whether the funds will be enough or not.

Your fiancé needs to apply for a visit visa, if granted then he can visit or you can return to pick him.

Note he must go back before the visa expires

No you can't switch from visit to student visa in the UK, you have to return to make that application. Also you don't need tb certificate for visit visa.

Is the University hall suitable for your dependants?

You might want to consider getting the accommodation, attaching a rental agreement can be an added advantage for your dependants application.

Also speak to the people in charge of the University hall for advice.

Something you might consider is why you are the guardian when the parents are alive.

That's one step..the next is to convince the home office that you have been solely responsible. How old is this child? What is his/her relationship with you? Where are the parents? Do you have all the paper work(school, medical,holiday) to back up your claim?
PS: Ensure all the documents are authentic and verifiable,because they will verify it,so the child doesn't get a ban like a minor posted here recently.

When 1 parent is dead, then the surviving parent automatically holds sole parental authority. There is no need for a court order or any official process to formalise this.

The consent form will be signed by your mother alone as the sole surviving parent, and a copy of your father's death certificate should be included among the supporting docs for the application.

You can add some pictures with the kids, some documents to show you have been solely responsible since your husband demise i.e school or hospital documents/reference letter if possible. In your consent letter you may want to state that you only had traditional/family rites marriage

As long as they are verifiable.

These are just additional documents, you already have the main documents.

Yes declare refusals and no you don't need to attach refusal letter there is a section during the application you can address this.

There is a backlog of request at DVSA and people have been advised not to apply for provisional license if there is a trip in 6months because your BRP will not be available.

Like you advised he has to wait till it is out

I really don't know about drivers license but from what I have been reading here. There is nothing much your hubby can do than just keep contacting them and checking his mail box.
