I am unsure if there are march/April sessions You might want to ask Google Cheers omoajiri: Greetings to you all. I want to ask if indeed some schools offer March/April intake for master's programs. Please I would need your candid advise on this. Its over 2 weeks my Foam A is pending with Eco bank. My account is still not debited till date. A friend in the UK requested he make the initial deposit for me using his card. Just needed to be sure if its Ok for him to initiate the transaction on my behalf?
I want to give the bank till COB today before making my decision.

Hi Mike, Good that you heard directly from your school. I'll respond to your email. Cheers Mikool101: He said I should send a bank statement to them, so they can view if all is in check before applying for visa. But the most important thing is as long the balance tuition fee & maintenance fee meets up the requirements needed in my account, then the deposit tuition removed during the 28 days window is not a red flag. But the reason for the mail is something I needed to ask privately relating of course to uk masters. |

Hello, You might want to speak with your school on this. There may be an option of joining online and then face to face when your visa is out. My previous post says ideally you should be able to continue the count but it's being safe that matters. speak to them they will advise appropriately. Cheers Mikool101: I was debited on the 16th of Nov and I started my counting on the 30th of Oct. My school resumes on the 10th of Jan, won't that affect the time window, knowing fully well embassy will close before Christmas. |

Hello Mike, Quick question, is your initial deposit part of the conditions? Is the 28days evidence not after fulfilling the stated conditions? Ideally, you should be able to continue with the count as long as it doesn't affect balance and print the evidence of your deposit payment during this time. But to be safe, start the count after the deposit payment (reason I asked those questions). It is fine to use your salary account. Cheers Mikool101: I still need response on this. I am using my salary account as POF. I hope it won't affect my 28 days as POF. I have paid initial deposit during this same 28 days window. @justwise @akporokodaughter @em7eve and any other gurus in the house. This is urgent. Goodmorning. |

Will the statement show when it was transferred to the other said account? Can he provide the statement of the said account if he is asked? Sometimes coming out clean is better and easier than trying to outsmart these people. Pasuma23: This is what I would do. Send the money from another of your bank account, so the the remark will be showing your name as well. Then you tell tell them that removed the money initially to an account you opened strictly for savings. |

Hello, Does the date in question cover the time of the visa cancellation, administrative review and to date? If you have used the funds for other processes such as flight, accommodation etc, then print the current statement and submit along with your invoices the funds were used for. If it is a borrowed POF and you have returned it, then that's unfortunate. Cheers Abyflab: Kindly advise,my UK visa was cancelled due to claimed bank statements falsification by UKVI but upon administrative and judicial review, another claim was made that there was an error from UKVI about the visa cancellation and was asked to present another bank statement covering another date but my fear now is that the money has been removed since the second day the visa was issued,Kindly advise on the bank statement to present cos the same account number was insisted upon submission.

oluswaggz: Hi guys,
Is it possible I get questioned or disturbed on arrival in the UK about my wife’s pregnancy status. She will be due in a week from the time we intend to travel. Is it possible they ask for the POF of the unborn baby at the airport or is it possible they ask for the POF after the delivery we would be few days after entering the UK?
Please help with a response I agree with @justwise.please do not put your wife and child through this. If you are the student, my advice will be to go first while she delivers the little one and joins you later. If she is the student, you need to let the school know her current condition so they can advise. Travelling at that condition is too risky |

Nkem222: Are there single mom that have migrated with their kids please I need assistance on how to go about custody or consent letter . Hello Nkem, Custody is granted by the court, you have to file for that, the best bet will be to get a lawyer, explain the circumstances to him/her. if the father of the child gives you a consent letter, that's a good addition. But the custody from court is the legal document. Remember, they might verify these documents. So make sure you do the right thing All the best |

International driver's licence or UK Provisional licence? And also can i have an idea of the costs as well? Can license have some kind of little impact on insurance especially for new entrants, someone mentioned it does but I am not sure.
Thanks as you take your time to enlightene me To help answer No 2.Are you renting a car or owning one? Have you driven with a left lane system before? That is the opposite of what we drive in Nigeria |

Hello,
To get a court order, you have to engage a lawyer and go to court (not just a cover letter or affidavit). In most cases, the issue of the Child's father will be brought to light so be ready. Your lawyer will be able to advice further, it will also be financially demanding but the good news is that once you have gotten this, your child's application will be straight forward because you have the legal right as the primary responsible parent.
This is not just a requirement for UK, you will need this proof if you and your child intend to visit other countries as well (atleast until 18years). Take your time, do the research and ground work. Then you can apply.
Cheers |

If so, then yes, you can use the service to upload your cover letter. The ones i have written in the past were addressed with; The High Commissioner British High Commission 154 Diplomatic Way Central Business district Abuja, Nigeria Others can add to this. Hello, To help throw some light on this, ideally, "Where the Student migrant is a single parent, children can only apply if: the other parent is dead; or you have had sole responsibility for the child’s upbringing; or there are serious and compelling family or other considerations and suitable arrangements have been made for the child’s care" You can get more information on this here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/points-based-system-student-routeThe point is to prove either of those conditions exist; You don't necessarily need an immigration lawyer or a DNA test. What condition above can you prove legally,(such as a court order for sole custody etc) That's the first place to start. All the best Omob2015: Compliment of the season. Please i need your help . I m single mother with a 5years old daughter. I m currently in the uk with tier 4 visa. I want to apply for my daughter now. Pls I need information on what and what to be added to the application to make it successful. I read that you need to state that you are fully responsible for her. Do I need to get a immigration lawyer involved? Do I need to do a DNA to proof she is my daughter bcs we have different names. Can i get a sample of cover letter? Pls help |

Have you driven a right hand or in the UK?Do you know the motor rules and signs??If you don't please take some lessons first and test your knowledge. It is not enough to have an international license. In addition, what category is General Insurance?? I presume you might be talking about Comprehensive. Are you a named driver on the policy? If not you need to speak to an insurance company first There's also MOT and Road Tax If you get pulled over by the police and you don't have all these, you could accrue points or be banned from driving( which may or may not affect your visa, not sure of the link between both agencies) Be very sure before you proceed, driving here is not the same with Nigeria. Cheers toyclicks: Good evening
@Justwise et al, Pls I have an access to a car that has general insurance on it. I also got an international driver's license from Nigeria before I left.
Pls what is left for me to be able to drive the car without issues. Someone was telling me that I still have to get some insurance and that it would be expensive cos I am an immigrant.
Pls I want to know what else is left of me to be eligible to drive and covered. I don't want to flaut rules, I no want wahala.
Pls what are the costs too. I can't find tangible info on the internet.
Anyone with experience of driving in the UK with the Nigerian international Driver's licence should pls throw light.
Thank you |

Not really, the UK frowns at parental child abduction and yes, this happens. Not sure how much @Priti Patel and her team are cracking down on illegal immigrants but this is sure a giveaway.. So sad..@Sweetness 24 have you discussed this situation with your sister? Cheers mimilyrics: This will be a tough one to overturn though you can always try to appeal to the ECM's discretionary capabilities by conveying how this was just a honest mistake. My reasons (from an ECO point of view) for this are 1. You stated that you chose Manchester so you could be close to family when you had said that you had no family. You knew fully well that you had family in the UK and chose to stay in Manchester because of them. So who are the family members outside your sister that made you choose Manchester since you didn't mention them? This is a discrepancy difficult to overlook.
2. The suspicion that your sister is in the UK illegally is enough for the ECO to think that you are just using the student visa as a way to get to move to the UK by hook or crook. If you had included an explanation that you had a sister in the UK but that you don't know if she's still there because you lost touch many years ago, it might have helped.
Except you have reasons strong enough to tackle the points listed, the admin review might not upturn the refusal. And since you weren't refused under paragraph 320, you can still make an application at a later time but please address the reasons you were refused here on subsequent applications. |

Hello, Not sure I understand what you mean by not reporting, would it be because you are isolating or you have decided to ditch school and not enroll? 2. I'll assume it's the second scenario when enrollment is over, details of current students will be sent to the home office, that means you have broken the terms of your visa and are currently illegal (OYO is your case) 3.Not sure how virtual studies will be but there will definitely be a system to check this. Hello, 1.It is not a problem if you didn't make any transaction. 2. That is the right thing to do. Note that because it is an international transaction it may take time to reflect in your school's account and may also take time to be updated on your CAS, (try to confirm this from your school and ask if an evidence of additional tuition payment can be issued to you),make sure you add this document during your biometric so it balances out your funding.
