uncle,
from your large profits to a small loss, are u improving or going down? what if barca had bought fabregas, una for dey post 100 million profit.
your club makes the profit from the sales of players but look at the other clubs, they make their funds mostly not from sales. can arsenal bear the salary weights of players in eighter chelsea, man city or man u? the rich club will sink if it pays the salaries of any of these clubs.
just january transfer window that your club did not sale, they are incuring lost then think of what will happen if your club did not sale for like two seasons.
is not important if u get angry or not but i will be happy if u understanbd my points.
ebue, sagna, wilsher, walcot and their likes are not brand names when it comes to jersey sales.
Yu are still not making a valid point, which of these your clubs is posting profits? name just one. which one of them is paying for a new stadium? do you think Tottenham don't know what they are doing trying to uproot and move just so they don't incur the cost of building a new stadium?

It is our decision to sell Fabregas or not. And the fact that we didn't sell this season does not mean that we cannot sell if we so desire or that we won't make profit if we don't sell, these are just half year results and don't mean the club won't make a profit in the full year results for your information.

Eboue, Sagna and Wilshere might not be brand names but they can become brand names if they deliver trophies, it depends on what they do on the pitch. The fact that those clubs who have these brand names you are so proud of are making worse lossess than we do year on year should be enough to convince any person of financial nous that those models are not financially viable.

The reason why we are not making much money commercially are well documented if you will take the time to get more information, main thing is that we are locked into contracts which gave money to pay for the stadium upfront, it is true we have been making most money from player sales and we are still selling and will still sell more players as our academy keeps on producing. You will have a valid point when any of those other clubs makes lower losses or higher profits than we do.

Now even from a neutral's view wasn't that bad sportsmanship? is there really a need to kick someone who is down? contrast that to Seb Larsson consoling Clichy after the final whistle. Abeg whether you win or lose, do it with some modicum of respect to your opponent. Its one of the reasons why I will never warm to Mourinho, I can never forget all that arm waving after beating Barcelona last season, utter classlessness. Its one of the reasons why that 5 goal rout at the camp Nou was even more enjoyable.

if other clubs refuse to buy players from arsenal just for one full season, it will be easy for all of us to know that the club is not making any real money apart from the sales.
unlike the other big clubs where u see clubs making money through endorsements and sales of machandise.
big players like drogba, torres, rooney, terry, messi, ronaldo, kaka etc raise funds for the clubs through jersey sales but in arsenal, who will buy ebue, walcott, abu, and all those french names?
what if clubs refuse to buy players from arsenal just for two seasons?
Stop yarning opata my guy, sales or not we are self sustaining and made a loss of 2.5m where others are making 70m loss and depending on sugar daddies or massive debts, what exactly are you talking about? Did Chelsea tell you they got the money to buy Torres from any shirt sales or from Abramovic's largesse?

Overall so far this season, I can't really blame AW for too many things. He has bent backwards on some of his policies this season just to win that elusive trophy. His boys have largely disappointed him and if anyone of them open his mouth about leaving this summer, he should be slapped!

I hate to mention this but isn't it funny how all our players who we 'laugh' at for having a down the hill career after leaving us have actually won trophies whilst we have not? - Larsson joined that growing list last night.
I've never been on that bandwagon of people supporting players saying they are leaving due to lack of trophies, its crazy as far as I'm concerned.
Both Larsson and Hleb actually won silverware yesterday but strange enough both would gladly come back to us.
The Carling cup was to have been for the long suffering fans and to silence our critics, sad it ended with our achilles heel, a refusal to take the initiative and a predisposition to self implosion.

my own is that we hv players thatare overpaid for their level of skill and cannot command such wages else where yet AW keeps faith with them
whether it is repeated on the big ben,, defense wins titles.

AWs first titles were won by Tony Adams, Keown, Winterburn and Seaman
Sure about this? or just repeatin what someone said?
We pay the 4th highest wages in the league, have loads of youngsters coming through which others can only dream of and are 2nd in the league and lost out in a final of a cup while still actively competing in 2 other cups, consider the so called youngsters high pay to be a tradeoff for not buying big, yu have to insure against losing yur young players on a free. If Flamini had been one of these so called highly payed players, we wldn't have lost him on a free to Milan.

As to the defense, I'm sure those people you mentioned also lost their fair share of finals. I think Winterburn actually mentioned one where he lost a penalty while we were 2-0 up and we ultimately lost 3-2. He subsequently was able to make ammends 6 years later by winning it but I'm hoping this lot do that much earlier.

I watched the game with about 20 Gooners and all of us knew that as the game wore on without us getting the 2nd goal that we would lose. Such mental brittleness is shocking. I don't understand the new role Wenger has for Song. It doesn't play to the player nor the club's strengths.
I'm sorry but this is not about roles, Song is one of the players who didn't stand up to be counted today. On a day like this players should have the strength of 10 men, almost all the Birmingham players were pumped up for this match but apart from Wishere, RVP and Kos who unfortunately shot himself in the foot later on, most of the other players didn't look up for it, even Nasri cld have done a bit more IMO.

what is mean by wengerpologist is that u are one of the last pple to attack wenger for his faith in certain players

we beat this team home and away so its not a case of fright
wenger needs to stop his dilly dallying, buy a world class keeper (as fergie is so desperately looking for one), get a world class CB pairing (vermalen and some body else) and then apply the hair dryer treatment consistenty

norris no beef grin grin grin grin grin grin but i have to give props to fergies style he threw nani to the sinbin for a while and now he is leading the table for assists
this bois need grit

great players win u games but great defenders win titles!!!
Faith in what players exactly? Arsenal fans are hardly ever united over which players are actually bad anyway and in instances where a better player has come along e.g. Wilshere/Denilson I've always been one of those to first accept it. When Theo had a shocker last season I was also one of those who knocked him hard and excessively too according to some people. What I've questioned is the belief that we need to go and buy big. All those who bought big mind you, did not get to the final of this cup and bar Manure are behind us in the League.

And there yu go again with the OTT response to a defeat in a cup final and show a fickle nature, an unfortunate albeit shocking error between Kos and Szczesny in their first final appearance for the club should not negate all they've done so far this season.

As the ever progressive and forward looking person that I am, I can't help but notice that Ryo Miyaichi got 2 assists and won a penalty while Feyenoord beat Groningen 5-1 today. Also Feyenoord have now gone unbeaten since Miyaichi joined them and have since started a steady climb up the Eeredivisie table.
I hereby plead with Japan to cap this boy so we can bring him over in the summer, seems we're all agreed that we need to call time on Rosicky's career with us, we can't have this boy helping Feyenoord while we could be using him at times like this.

I point out Arsene's mistakes as I see them as any other person for example his choosing to play Rosicky all through today
I however believed he has done and continues to do a good job with us and believe he is the best man as our manager
where exactly then is our point of departure? undecided
I think it is that a lot of people go overboard when things go wrong and don't appreciate the good things we do right, I only point out the good things when people like you choose to throw the baby out with the bath water.
For example, I will expect to see Arsene bashing ramped up again cos we lost today.

I really don't hink we watched the same match.
The game was swinging from side to side!! The difference in possession was just 2% for Arsenal so what are u talking about? Arsenal had more threats but that is expected for a team of its calibre with such an opponent!!

So what's with the quality? Bury your heads in shame for losing such a final to a lowly placed side!!
When it matters most, the boys falter!!!
Go watch the match and read up the match thread, at the time we conceeded that goal, the match had clearly swung in our direction. As much as i hate to say it, on the strength of play Birmingham clearly deserved to win the match no doubt but it was when we seemed to be on the up and needed to keep our heads that we cocked it up.

Koscielny played no part in the cock up! It was the rookie keeper that messed it all up,  any decent defender listens to his goalkeeper as the keeper can see what he cant hence the resaon he withdrew form the ball when he heard the shout from Szcezny. We saw this happen between Toure and Hart earlier on in the season. With all of Kolo's experience he left the ball once instructed by Hart and the mix up resulted in a Blackburn goal.
Unfortunate, we'll never really know who is to blame, they'll have to jointly share it as none of the two can take any glory from that moment.
