Interesting times as we stand on the threshold of finally ending this lean period and then players begin to fall like flies. Really feel for Theo and hope Cesc makes the final on sunday. We still haven enough quality to do it. |
mukina2:no wahala as long as yu lead me to wherever you want. hope the center of the Shite Hart Lane pitch aint too bad? we've got to be careful manmustwac doesn't see us o, want to go back to heaven with all my balls and I'm pretty scared of machetes. ![]() |
dayokanu:Naaa he is not, he is only unfortunate to be holding the record for the longest scoring streak in the UCL. ![]() |
mukina2:Already did, but lo and behold the first thing I saw in there was (you guessed right) Muki's butttt. ![]() coded guy:Nor mind Muki she doesn't know that I'm a keymaker and can open every door. ![]() |
Here rests the stinkin carcass of a wannabe big club that thought money was the all and be all for greatness, yes they did touch greatness but alas were not qualified to hold on as their foundations weren't rock solid but found to be on the most slimy of sand. This club and its arrogant money peddlin owner would do well to heed the lessons of their subsequent crash from greatness and seek wisdom from those who have trod the true well worn paths to enduring greatness in order to learn from them. The path to true greatness is not money as important and utilitarian as it might be, it is seeking out the right principles and philosophy to operate by, it is holding on to those principles when others of less stout composition and inferior mien would have longed returned to pitiable oasis of indulgent comfort and boring pastimes of ordinary existence. It is learning to pursue a dream and a goal, learning to fail a thousand times and still muster enough strength and confidence in oneself to try again without taking shortcuts that give a fleeting glimpse of attainment as through a telescope but subsequently turns out to be as far as the tiniest of stars. Seek true greatness o fallen chelsea, learn from the adventurous, brave and bold Arsenal and maybe then your dry bones can be raised once more with plenty of meat. |
I have plans for Muki's butt. ![]() |
manmustwac:I do sincerely apologize that the joke about Muki's butt came across as offensive, it was never intended to be and thanks for being man enough to acknowledge when yu're wrong. Hope no hard feelings? |
But then Dr. Kit, is that football brutucu not what we complain about at Arsenal? and is that really how footie should be played? That exactly is the reason why England cannot do anything reasonable in the international arena where such kicking is rightly penalized. The only club they don't kick the hell out of is Manure cos they respect their Lord Fergie too much to do that, but for the smart-ass Frenchie all is fair. If Messi plays for Arsenal, he might end up like Eduardo as you rightly point out but if he plays for Manure be sure that he might even end up with better stats than he is now afterall he is running head to head with CR9 on goals and trouncing him in assists while playing in the same league. |
I dislike the chap, but that is some achievement. |
ifyalways:I saw them all get into the ring and then dozed off, nothing brings on a snooze fest for me these days than WWE. ![]() |
eldee:This. |
manmustwac:This is utter bollocks and abuse of your position and utterly irresponsible of you quite childish too, it also shows you are a coward who will hide under any silly position you have to taunt and intimidate others, I must state in very clear terms that you are unfit of any position you hold on this forum if this is how you choose to act. If you consider yourself a person of integrity then go ahead and post what you sent to me and then compare it to what I've written to see if it is in any way proportionate. manmustwac:You're being very silly and show no remorse at your actions, are you supposed to use your mod privilledges to answer personal insults? (that is even if you consider them personal insults in the first instance). Did I make any trouble or insult you when you didn't answer the question about the capacity of shiite hart lane? Did I PM you to start shouting abuse at you at any point in time? FFS, what I posted isn't even abuse. Grow a pair and act like someone matured man. I must say that you are totally undeserving of any apology and do consider that apology withdrawn. I also wonder how you became a mod in the first instance. FYI, I have Tottenham fans as friends and we do take the mickey out of ourselves, but we never descend as low as you've done. |
slimshay:Me sef don dey hear that conspiracy theory and I have almost started to believe it, thats an extra 6m already this season as the emirates makes about 3m per matchday. Abeg what are people's impression of Miquel? a bit suspect in terms of pace but not as slow as Senderos and will definitely improve physically but good composure, aerial ability and impressive composure to play out from the back. I liked what I saw at a level at least higher than u18 or reserve level, He'll likely join the loan brigade next season. I don't have much complaints about the game, some of our players actually need more game time anyway and its good for Rosicky to break his duck, we played like we were practicing and we almost coasted through all the same. We will put it to bed at the emirates for sure. |
E don happen, its us vs Manure in QF FA cup if we beat Leyton Orient. Always felt this would happen. ![]() Go knock em out with your new found confidence boiz. |
hannie: , yu're right, its just that Arsene will always find a way to pursue his youth policy no matter what. Manure played a Non league club yesterday and despite having a much older squad in general, the youngest player in the starting 11 was 20 and he brought on Rooney, Arsene somehow found a way to start a 17 year old prospect he considers promising against a League 1 club. I hope the boy justifies his faith in him. |
Arsene still somehow finds a way to give Ignasi Miquel a first team appearance this year? ![]() There must be something he sees in the boy. |
Mobinga:Why would anyone wake you? at present, yu're doing everything ALONE, even sleeping. ![]() |
manmustwac:First of all, if you had a problem with the post, why not reply to it straight away on the forum? why the attempt at intimidation by sending me a moderator's message with such unnecessary bile which you knew very well that I couldn't reply to through the same means with which you sent it? ![]() Secondly, you and I know very well that the message you sent to me would receive a ban if posted on the forum which is why you sent it through that means in the first instance or if yu're proud of it why not post it on here? I have no problems with you having known you from the religious section even before I became active in the sports section and if you find my writing as being insulting, I do apologise for it, believe me when I say it was meant in jest and that I've had worse post than that written about me, I also believe that anyone who read that post would take it for what it is some harmless fun because the forum in the first instance is not a physical place where Muki can come to answer nature's call. If yu're this angry about it, what exactly should Muki do if she reacted to the post the way you did? I would never have thought that you would make a Keys/Gray moment out of some harmless banter and you do need to develop a thicker skin. |
RVP Quotes, what a committed player. To be honest, if he wanted to leave I'm sure there is a club out there willing to pay up to 30m for this guy.
A trip to Leyton Orient in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday is the immediate priority and Van Persie is excited about what the club could achieve this season. Despite having not won anything since 2005, the striker is proud to have been part of the young team's progression over the past few years and maintains that he could never contemplate a move elsewhere. "I don't have the inclination to go anywhere," he explained. "This is the best team for me to be in. "The bottom line is that I want to win trophies with Arsenal, not with anybody else. "I know you can win trophies in many countries and in many ways, but I want to do that in our way and in an Arsenal shirt. "I'm sure I could win things at another team in another country, but would it feel like our trophy, my trophy? I'm not sure it would. "Anything we win here will come from the heart and that's what I want. It's my dream and I see no point in speaking about other teams when I have these dreams. "I think other people know that about me; I'm just hungry to win with Arsenal and that's it."
|
Stupid boy, wants to fritter his youthful promise away. Can't he take Jack Wilshere as inspiration? I've seen fleeting appearances of this boy and he looks promising but he has to put it all together. Time waits for no one. |
presido1:Na big lie, gooner babes no dey get figure 1, na perfect figure 8 ![]() Keep yur industrial sillicone to yursef, if you see muki butt, yu no go know when yu go inject yurself. ![]() |
Nateevs is very right about Sturridge's situation, You can't have 2 stirkers in their 30s and then refuse to play a very promising 21 year old who you might end up paying 6 - 8 m for, (at least I know Arsene wouldn't do it) then turn around and go buy a 26 year old for 50m. It is simply a lack of foresight. Carlos Vela's idiocy might just turn out to be Chelsea's gain as he was Owen Coyle's first choice to bring on loan but stupidly chose to follow money under the influence of his agent, I'm happy for Sturridge cos a few more games as he is having now and he would have staked a very big claim to be considered for first team action under a manager who knows what he is doing. |
tkb417:Abramovic is also one of the richest people in the world, Man U needs to be careful as their team is at about the same level as Chelsea was last season, are you really sure you lot can drop 70m just like that with all the Glazer debt wahala? This team did the double and only lost Ballack and Deco who were considered old and not really contributing much remember? Lampard's injury also damaged them early on. A good thing yu guys are keeping old man Giggs and Scholes. I think Chelsea will be back next season though, their team is being renewed and buying Luiz is a bit of a master stroke if they don't break his leg in the PL, its in buying Torres that they've been a bit silly, a really top class MF was more necessary IMO. |
Liverpool down, Chelsea down, countdown begins for Manure. Go for it eyin boiz, before City start flexing muscle. |
Akolawole:Glad people can now see the truth. Na Manure remain. hope tkb didn't see that ![]() |
Eeemo wolu o, can't even believe my own eyes Chelsea out of PL, Carling Cup and FA cup reckoning? almost unbelievable if we didn't see it coming. And there I was thinking DK was going out of business? ![]() |
tkb417:I thot there were no cracks appearing? ![]() There were really strong rumors that yu already made an attempt for Bale last summer. Good news Valencia will be back soon for yu, any update on his rehabilitation? |
Strange and touching story, I've always felt as human beings we can't control what happens to us but choose how we respond to them, the strange thing is that the story is very real. With some 'creative embellishment' here and there but what a story. definitely fit for superstory. I hope it doesn't turn nasty though. |
Sagamite:All this has arisen from your imagination, yu have made up all sorts of conclusions about a case you have little facts about and concluded about imaginary scenarios based on your own prejudices. Morals are not being judged here but adherence to the laws of a country in which an individual 'willingly' chose to be resident. If you believe you can't properly raise a child in the west then don't take them there. There are a thousand and one other Nigerians who have no problems raising up their children there and are still raising up their childrent over there without any problems. |
@manmustwack I must say that I'm disappointed in your administrative message sent to me, must you be that vindictive and use your moderator rights to personal ends? What is it with people and thin skins on here? sheesh. Expected much better from you and I'm really disappointed. Never, ever send that kinda message to me again, you'd be very wise to note that I'm not easily intimidated. |
Outstrip:Abi o, the prevailing Nigerian attitude to most of these laws are funny as if they just came about because someone was high on weed while drafting the laws. ![]() Sagamite:Yeah, and if a 12 year old alleges such offences against him as this, he will also be listened to. They don't have to check for possibility of forced marriages in his tribe, they can't possibly know Jack about every society or culture in the world and they don't really need to, all they've asked for is that the child come back and state his case, no one has been convicted yet for a forced marriage. Sagamite:Yeah, there is a range of interpretation and policemen aren't always rational in their interpretation of the law but then you also have the right to complain about that also so you still have the opportunity to seek redress. Sagamite:Where there is a clear and present/imminent danger, parental rights can be suspended even if temporarily but that is not done without putting up enough reasons why. What more reasons is needed to be shown here? The child has obviously been taken out of the country against his will and he obviously continues to communicate with his defence team telling them he is being held against his will and abused. Are you saying the judge should close hid eyes to all that just cos its being done by his parents? ![]() Sagamite:The judge has said no such things, the court has ordered the child to be brought back to state his case but the parents are impeding that order which further implicates them I dare say. This has nothing to do with Urhobo people and their culture. |
Sagamite:It may look flimsy to you but to the Judge it is not, a child at 17 can be jailed if he kills someone and would be liable for an extradition request if he runs away while undergoing trial, if such a child now alleges a crime is being perpetuated against him, would you as a judge listen to him or not? Its all about ensuring fairness to all. Sagamite:There is nothing I see here that suggests it is not being applied exactly like that. Sagamite:I live in the UK and can tell you for certain this is untrue. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. The police would only advise and try to defuse the situation, they will only remove the man if there is evidence that he has actually raised his hand to the woman or if from his demeanour they feel he might for example if there is a shouting match or some pushing and shoving going on and they won't prevent him from coming back when he has cooled down. A barring or restraining order can only come where there is proof of physical or emotional violence. In the occasion of a separation or divorce proceedings the needs of the children are put first and the woman may actually be the one to leave the house if for example she has a 'house husband'. |
