So that photo we saw yesterday of him sitting on the floor with bloodied face was photoshopped! This is someone that was supposed to have been shot four times! The wailers are working overtime! |
eagleeye2:! So the ONSA is not part of the Federal Government of Nigeria? Then its what? Part of the Government of Togo? I guess you're one of the proponents of buharigate on twitter. Your stupîdity amazes me. |
kodded:If today anything happens to Obasanjos SUVs, the office of the NSA which is statutorily responsible for authorising the use and distribution of bullet proof vehicles in Nigeria will replace them. Why? because Obasanjos is a former head of state. It is his entitlement till he dies! I don't know how else to explain it to you! I would have translated to Igbo for u but I don't speak the language. Please don't b a dumb ass and pollute peoples minds with dumbness! Please! |
Most of the people commenting on this topic are just silly naive people who have no clue. Twitter is full of them. All former heads of state are entitled to personal security from the DSS and Police, and also SUVs. Buharis SUV was destroyed by Boko haram thus the Federal government had to provide him with a new one. Please where's the goat and the yam there? Stupîd folks on twitter just like to tweet like foolish birds and run their mouths. No substance in all the rubbish they're spewing. Obasanjo, IBB, Abdulsalami, Gowan, Shonekan all have personal security and SUVs. |
Check the list of worst performing stocks of 2015. All the quoted flour mills are there. The problem is the huge operating cost. Importing flour has become crazy expensive. Maybe Dangote can see a star in the horizon with the Import substitution plan of the current adminstration. But I think it'll still take a very long time for flourmills in Nigeria to return to profitability. |
I think this idea of feeding kids in school is just ridiculous. what we should do is empower families to feed their children at home. |
Nigeria doesn't have a trained anti riot police. Usually when protests like this one occur, we draft the Police or the Military in, and these guys are not trained to handle protesting civilians. The IPOD protesters blocked the Niger bridge and at a point even attempted to over run a checkpoint. The Military and police won't stand by and allow themselves to be disarmed. So shooting at the protesters is the easiest option available. Not defending them, but in saner countries you do not send armed military personnel to handle protests, its a recipe for disaster like we saw today. |
I'm sorry but does Anambra not have a governor? People in his state have been protesting for how many days now, virtually all the markets in a commercially important city like Onitsha locked and not a word from the governor. Not to address the protesters, not a press conference to assure people in the state of their safety, nothing! is the governor also Pro Biafra? |
Emegwali the fraudstar! Like his brothers ![]() |
zendi:I'm exposed to skye so its natural i disagree strongly with you. If you were trying to infer share reconstruction with your reference to unity bank, you should check the shares outstanding of skye. Besides, unity's share reconstruction had nothing to do with raising more cash. If it did then that purpose would have been defeated with the current price. |

I really don't understand why Ambode is getting the stick for these traffic robberies, because security in Nigeria is the responsibility of the Federal government. We dont have state police! Ambode has no control over the policy or strategy of the Police. Lagos is not newyork or Los Angeles. Blame the Feds for the robberies. |
Are you guys for real or you're just buying time and burning your Sunday evenings with "pretend ignorance", cos the level of darkness (ignorance) on this thread is so overwhelming. And the dark or ignorant ones are actually the same people accusing someone of "darkness". Astonishing! |
Alani86:who cursed me, you? |
sonOfLucifer:Epic! |
Ironic that the only light I see on this thread is from the Son of Lucifer's posts. The others are just dark "beams" of ignorance. Africa (Nigeria) is really in trouble judging by the posts on this thread. Son of Lucifer please don't give up on these morons, there's always hope for the ignorant mind. |
I can't wait for Obamas apology for ousting Gaddafi and being responsible for his public execution, and for throwing the entire country of Libya which was once a heartland of peace, into chaos. The ripple effects of the evil Obama perpetuated in Libya will be felt for a long time to come. Even here in Nigeria where weapons the Americans gave to the militants that toppled Gaddafi are slipping into the hands of Boko haram. |
When the story of Nigeria is told in a 100 years time, history will not be fair to the people that raped and squandered Nigeria's resources to build castles and mansions in Europe. History, God, Karma and Posterity will not be kind to them at all. |
For anyone in the year 2015 to model his life after books that people living more than 2000 years ago used to govern their lives is just pathetic. While we're at it, we can also stone women who commit adultery. Just ridiculous! |
Why will oando go into receivership when they can simply dispose of some of their assets to offset their debts? I think the board just needs to make some tough calls and accept that the acquisitions they've made in recent years have been faulty, and probably sell them off. The assets they've borrowed money to acquire in recent years have'nt been as profitable as we all envisaged. I remember some people here were praising oando and Wale after the COP deal was consummated because we all thought we would easily offset the debts from d deal and start making profit. Nobody was looking at the US crude inventory charts. Lets just sell off d assets and return to profitability. Plus the NSE and SEC should start taking corporate governance and accountability in quoted companies serious. Its not enough to fine companies that delay their results. They can easily pay d fines and continue to hold on to the results, like Oando has done. Let's have stricter penalties for delayed results. To me Receivership is totally off the cards for Oando |
I think it's just shameful d way people are trying to justify themselves here, going as far as digging up old posts to prove they were right. What does it matter if u posted something in 2012 about oando? I've read through all the posts here since the result was announced yesterday and its been all bashing and self justification, nobody has actually given any analysis of the results or any forward looking statements. I think we should move away from the self justification and start looking forward. Yes we know you called it, you're an expert analyst. Can we now forge ahead please? |
Please can anyone confirm this OANDO result that has been flying around since morning. 1 for 2 bonus and N3 naira dividend, Is it authentic? |
Don't understand......is there a new meeting spot for NSEMPA or is everyone on Vacation? ![]() |
I remember always having arguments with people about this prosperity preachers. I never blame them. I always blame the idîots that dole out their entire life savings to these criminals and them come on social media to defend these same criminals that are fleecing them of their sweat. A pastor wearing a rolex and cruising a G6 while the people responsible for the G6 and rolex trek to work. It's always incredible when I imagine it. |
I think the only boring people in the world are people who live by and believe in stupîd clichés like "all good guys are boring". Who d fuçk has time to start stereotyping people they meet based on that! This world is full of diversity and dynamism. People who stereotype other people are incredibly and insatiably boring people. |
Agbalowomeri:Oga abeg softlysoftly with them jokes. I've been angrily holding this Oando for the past one year and I'm very sensitive to any news on the coy. See how my heart was racing after I saw your post ![]() |
Excellent! Now the onus is on Obuah to produce evidence of Amaechi's said accounts in the US. If he can't he must pay that N300 million by force. Amaechi will use this guy as maga to chop free money. |
Our morals in this country have truly been eroded. How can someone who stole billions and fled persecution in another country come out and claim he was persecuted for political reasons? Alams is lucky he was able to flee the UK disguised as a woman else he would have been sentenced to prison like Ibori. These people are the ones responsible for the poverty and crime in the Niger delta and the irony of it all is that we keep praising them as leaders and heroes. It's just incredible! If alams is so sure that his arrest was political, I dare him to board a flight to the UK and see if he won't be handcuffed and chained right at the airport. Stupîd thieving criminal! |
LORD!!! These are prices we only see in our dreams! Another crop of millionaires or even billionaires is about to be made. |
Julius Berger has been building roads in Nigeria for generations now and Nigeria is very popular for bad roads. Its either Julius Berger has entrenched a traditioin of using sub standard materials to build our roads or we are not maintaining them well. I choose the former. |
