If the basis for barring AIT is ethics and standards, I totally agree with the President elect. When the owner of AIT openly hobnobs with the President, and when the reportage of the station Is clearly biased against the APC, they have every right to tell them not to report their own activities. If they know AIT is definitely going to skew the news or their reporting against the APC, why should they allow them to report their activities?

Really I expect Buharis government to be heavily wealfarist and also heavy on taxs and royalties. The poorest and middle income earners should expect to enjoy a lot from the social benefit programs which the rich and their corporations will most likely fund. FIRS, NNPC, oil companies and the Solid minerals firms should start getting ready for greater scrutiny and Lagos style taxes.

Inasmuch as I hate that guy barcanista, I have to admit that his arguments are correct. The 4 trillion is the expenditure profile for the government for the year. The money the Federal government intends to spend, not necessarily the money the government will make.
The price of crude for instance may increase leaving the government with more money than it planned to spend. The incoming government may also decide to pursue other sources of revenue like Lagos state did. This may provide the government with additional income. The 4 trillion is the expenditure plan for the FG alone and not the states or LG. The fact that they plan to spend 4 trillion doesn't mean they will make 4 trillion. Buharis social programme are very realistic if they can fund them through extra budgetary means, or pass a supplementary budget.
