PoliticsRe: FG Govt Borrows N473bn To Pay Salaries And Overheads. by eaglechild: 6:51am On May 06, 2015
boolet:
PDP campaign funds was sure double of the amount borrowed.
Where do you think APC campaign funds came from if not from the same government by various APC state governments.

We are witnessing harsh times because of the crash in oil prices and because of very lazy and non innovative state governments who have refused to rise up and generate revenue to run their states.

We really need resource control and regional government in this country so that some regions can sit upm
PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Earned Nigeria International Respect- Anyaoku by eaglechild: 6:36am On May 06, 2015
GEJ is a shinning example.

Look what is happening in Burundi now because a selfish president is going the Obasanjo way by seeking a third term.

Car TalkRe: Innoson Made-In-Nigeria SUV Worth N5.6m by eaglechild: 4:49pm On May 05, 2015
I am so surprised that a lot of people are saying that a brand-new mid size SUV at N5.6million is too expensive.

Is that we are have become so accustomed to tokunbo that people no longer have any idea of the cost of brand new vehicles?
PoliticsRe: Lagos Light Rail Set To Commence Operations by eaglechild: 2:36pm On May 05, 2015
I hope they will not dash our hopes with this one.
Smells of white elephant.
Ambode should try and complete it.

I think this is a different model.

Lovely pictures.

What remains is to green it up.

What of the road outside the complex that connects to Okpara avenue through the old cabinet office.

Has it been fixed?

Capital flight

Look inwards.
InvestmentRe: Chinese, Indian Firms Illegally Mining Nigeria’s Solid Minerals by eaglechild: 8:53am On May 05, 2015
Illegal mining is fuelled by the local community leaders who get rich off these activities.

They will rather have control of the resource with the help of the fraudulent foreign companies than allow the federal government access.

It has always been that way in the north.

A lot of rare earth metals and minerals are mined covertly with the Emirs in control.

Yet everyone wants to get a taste of the oil from the Niger delta.
PropertiesRe: 10 Most-expensive Luxury Real Estate Locations In Nigeria by eaglechild: 8:33am On May 05, 2015
These properties are overpriced.

I guess the writer of the article needs more exposure.

Many estates were excluded.
TravelRe: Yoruba Man Recounts His Visit To Igboland by eaglechild: 10:33pm On May 04, 2015
This thread will soon catch fire.

This is an eye opener for the narrator.

I think the Swesterners are the least travelled in Southern Nigeria. Many of them. know nothing about life outside their region.

I will encourage them to try and explore the world outside their cocoon.

Thank goodness for NYSC.
It helps for some exposure though a little.
CrimeRe: Female Banker, Others Charged With Defrauding Emir Of Kano’s Account (photos) by eaglechild: 10:15pm On May 04, 2015
How did the Emir amass 17 million cash that is just redundant in his account.

These people just live lavishly while their subjects live in poverty.

Please I know Professor Godwin Chukwu one on one. The man there is not him. I initially at early stage of my life wanted to be like these men, but indeed all they have is all these fellows and titles. As an engineer The industry is better for me . Not just as an empoyee but as an employer of labour. I am speaking for myself. I have been with these acdemia in different parts of the world and honestly, the industry man has more money in the bank. Also you can put ideas into products
The picture is that of the former minister of health Onyebuchi Chukwu.
Probably a mix up.

The academics have their role.
They inspire minds.

Please why has the Secretariat remained cordoned off even after the elections.

Meanwhile the road that just turns off PH road after the secretariat, i mean former Ibari Ogwa road is about to divide into two.

There a about three gullies on that major road on the First bank/ Fidelity bank side.
PhonesRe: Infinix Hot Note Review Thread. by eaglechild: 4:16pm On May 03, 2015
lanre316:
I would go for Infinix Hot Note over Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime for these reasons.

1. Sharper display: IHN has 267ppi while GGP has 220 ppi
2. Better battery. This point alone makes it the current champion of affordable and decent phones.
3. N23,500 is more easily affordable. I won't cry much if i lose that amount, but I would cry rivers if I lose N50,000.
4. Tecno Carlcare are available to fix problems with Infinix phones.(yes, you heard me right, they have a sort of deal with each other)
5. 5.5 inch screen will serve me better than 5 inch screen. I intend to manage some blogs and type a lot on it. I also love watching movies and reading ebooks.
6. Generally the specs of IHN is greater than GGP and almost equal to Galaxy Note 2.(Again, don't take my word for it. Just look up both of their specs and do a side-by-side comparison)

That's my take on it. Contrary views and opinions are welcome.
Thanks.

The GGP has a 5 MP secondary camera vs 2 MP on the IHN.
The GGP has a removable battery and supports 4G.

The OS is 4. 44, IHN is 4. 42 (not really so important).

The rest of what you said is true.
IHN offers more value for money.
I just hope it will be as durable as the Samsung.

I already have a GGP and it is annoying to think I could have gotten 2 IHN and given one out.

The Owerri-Ph road will be completed.
Really?

The Owerri-PH road is about 75% complete and construction is going on actively.
The Rivers state portion has been completed for several months now.

I hope when the work is over, You will not wake up and attribute it to Buhari.

lanre316:
Why not Google both of their specs and do a side by side comparison. If you're waiting for someone else to do your job for you, you're on a very loooooooooong thing.
Lol
I mean practical experience.

I have checked the specs and they are somewhat similar so I keep wondering why the Samsung is almost double the price.
PhonesRe: Infinix Hot Note Review Thread. by eaglechild: 2:20pm On May 03, 2015
Can anyone rate it vs Samsung Galaxy grand prime.

You captured them well. Shameless satanic manauverying. Always shameless and always self-centred. Since the elections, am yet to see any thread or group demand laced with Yoruba or Hausa self-agrandisement but i can count upto a minimum of 7 by, for and on Igbo this, Igbo that. They are a race that refuses to get civilized but prefered to remain in the stone age. Minus Okorocha, all the politicians mentioned made no noticeable impact in the elections yet he shamelessly claimed they helped Buhari to the presidency. Bunch of boot-leakers !
grin grin grin grin

See pain.

Please don't kill yourself oh.
PoliticsRe: The Booby Traps Before Buhari – Olisa Agbakoba. by eaglechild: 9:55pm On May 02, 2015
I don't know what the trap is here.

Buhari has a magic broom that is meant to make everything perfect.

That is what he promised us and that is what we are waiting for.

Anything less than that is failure.

PoliticsRe: Fuel Scarcity: Nigerians Lament Lack Of Petrol (see Tweets) by eaglechild: 9:41pm On May 02, 2015
There is no scarcity in the SE and SS.

I wonder what the APC government is doing to their citizens.
PoliticsRe: Scarcity Worsens As Fuel Sells For N300 In Lagos by eaglechild: 9:34pm On May 02, 2015
Why is the scarcity only in Lagos?

What is Fashola doing about it?

APC states are crumbling daily.

Haha lol!!!!

I have warned Igbos who are banking on the emotion of Ijaws by forcing themselves on Niger-delta; Ijaws are only part of Niger delta.

There is nothing like United SS. Ijaws are only pained cos their son lost the election and Igbos quickly tapped into that by attaching SS to SE in all their hatred campaign these days but Igbos ll be shocked when Ijaws finally understand that they as Ijaws are on their own With Igbos.
You just had to find a way to drag Igbos into this.
