Legalplayerz: Yes I agree, we must not be scared of failure. But people need to work for some years before they can be able to raise capital to start a business. It's not easy to secure loans in Nigeria. Most entrepreneurs that I know once worked full time for someone else before they started their own thing. People need job security for some time before going into business, but unfortunately that is a big problem n Nigeria.

Being an enterprenuer, investor or employee is all about mindset. And don't forget that money is addictive. Once you start earning your living in any sector or section of the economy, it becomes hard to deviate from the pattern that you are used to.
Don't be surprised that most of those sacked from IBTC will dust up their CVs and go back into the labour seeking for paid employment again and the cycle continues.

Legalplayerz: This is sad... But we all must also remember that it's not that easy to be an entrepreneur too, because the business can also fail. This life is just not fair at all. I'm sure with God will provide for them all.

Brother the fear of failure should not be a barrier to your ideas and goals. Infact you should welcome failure in business because with each failure it will teach you to learn from your mistakes and try not to fall into the same mistake again.
Which is better, starting a business at young age and failing 5 or more times before succeeding, or starting a business after you must have retired and failing once or twice.

My professor in school once said, and I quote "You cannot go hungry if you truely passed through the four walls of a University and the school equally passes through you".

Why can't the youths think towards entrepreneurship? Ideas rule the world, but I think that Nigerians have poverty of Ideas.
Before someone starts talking about scarcity of Capital, understand that "there is dignity in Labour" and no job is too demeaning for you to start your hussle in life. The only thing that matters is that you never lose sight of your ideas and goals.

all this killings and blood shed may seem a bit overwhelming... but the truth is that Nigeria as a nation has wasted so many innocent blood that the natural law has to come into play.
Blood calleth for more Blood. The more wee justify killings of innocents either in Odi, Baga, Jos, Biafra or any other place then we will keep going in this vicious cycle. The emphasis is on shedding the Blood of the Innocent.
Nigeria should make restitution as a Nation, it is not enough to keep saying RIP to the dead.

I can remember when our own started giving wahala.... it will up its volume without anyone touching it. Then if you want to bring down the volume you will slap the TV on top or by the side.
If there was a visitor and the volume raises by itself, my sister will or any older sibling will call me (being the last) I will stylishly go close to the TV and slap it without the visitor being the wiser. And if you look for my trouble I will simply close the doors to the TV.

Earlier on, I adviced that Mazi should get a blog as the MODs are bent on frustrating people on NL, again His Royal fooolishness hid it. Maybe the next thing is to ban me...... and truely I don't care.

Ishilove: I know this isn't my business o, but I notice you keep on hammering that Mazi's threads shouldn't even be in the Literature section. Why was it put there in the first place? We are all writers here so we know the kind of hard work involved in writing, it can be very painful for one to write, upload and then have it hidden. Mazi has a very unique style that appeals to his followers, and I feel he should be given free reign to express his creativity. If it is unsuitable for the lit section, then the blame shouldn't be on him but on whoever allowed the thread remain in a section that will not allow him express himself to the fullest.

Just my opinion sha

Ishi, why do you bother appealing to a super stupor MOD. He can hide and unhide posts at his whims.... imagine if this kind of person holds a sensitive national post what will be the fate of subordinates who has contrary opinion.

I am not a Boko apologist, but how come 50 Hilux van will drive into a town starting from 4pm and raze down all structures, yet claim there was no life lost and no security agent challenged them?
Ok, so it is now easy to drive in 50 hilux vans into town for an operation and drive out of town after completing the operation, yet no major newspaper or TV station (even those abroad) will carry the news?
