27-year-old Kogi amputee, Mary Daniel, who hawked sachet water has acquired a new apartment said to cost 17.5 million Naira in Igando area of Lagos, IgbereTV reports.

She also revealed that she constructing a pure-water factory inside the compound, which is near completion.

Recall that Mary Daniel received donations of about N25 million after she was pictured hawking sachet water in traffic in Oshodi and her story went viral.

In the evening of July 16 2021, passengers commuting home in a BRT bus in Lagos were captured complaining as flood water from heavy downpour entered the vehicle, IgbereTV reports.

The rain caused severe flooding in many areas and submerged cars. It also led to heavy traffic. A lot of commuters said they got home the following day.

A viral video captured the moment the now-famous club tune, 'Dorime', was sang by a church choir in a Port Harcourt church in Rivers State, IgbereTV reports.

The theme for the party was "Life after death".

The celebrant was wheeled into the venue in a glass-topped casket while a poem titled Life After Death was recited as she made her entrance.

“Late Super TV CEO Was Not In A Happy Marriage, He Had Marital Issues" - Chidinma Ojukwu (Video)

21-year-old murder suspect, Chidinma Ojukwu has given shocking personal details about her late sugar daddy, Super TV CEO, Michael Ataga whom she stabbed to death, IgbereTV reports.

According to her, the Super TV CEO was not in a happy marriage and was having issues with his wife at the time they met.

Chidinma in an interview with Crime Fighters described the deceased as someone who gets angry easily and was always busy.

In the interview, Chidinma who is currently in police custody over the murder of the media expert debunked reports that she had N10M in her bank account. She disclosed that she has about N400-500k which was money she made from selling a laptop which the deceased gave her.

Speaking on why she rented a shortlet for their time out where the incident took place, she stated that it was on the request of the deceased as he insisted that it wouldn’t be fun staying in a hotel.

Nollywood actresses, Ebele Okaro and Luchy Donalds expressed fear of losing their lives when they entered a cannoe to travel on a river during a movie shoot, IgbereTV reports.

The actresses entered the cannoe with other people involved in the movie shooting. Speaking in an interview before his present arrest and detention, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stated vehemently that Biafra will come whether he is alive or dead, IgbereTV reports.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has described as ridiculous, rumour that President Muhammadu Buhari had died and was cloned by somebody else from Sudan.

Obasanjo said the rumour became popular through the abuse of the social media, expressing surprises that many Nigerians believed the lies.

The former President explained in a video, how he was approached by a very important person, who asked him about the truth about Buhari’s rumoured death.

According to him, the person told him that the information had gone viral on the social media.

The Balogun Owu wondered how Buhari could have died and be replaced with someone from Sudan without him knowing about it.

“Somebody came to me, a very high hub person, saying tell me about this talk of Buhari not being Buhari.

“I said ‘do you believe them?’ He said, ‘well, it is in the social media’. I said ‘how will Buhari die and we will not know that Buhari has died and they will bring us somebody from Sudan to be Buhari?’

“It’s ridiculous to the extreme. But you have it in the social media and you see people believing it,” Obasanjo expressed concern.

While accepting the fact that the social media is good, Obasanjo, however, regretted that it is being abused.

He advocated teaching the youths and the children about the dangers inherent in abusing the social media.

“Social media is good, but it can be abused. We have to train our youths and our children about the dangers of the social media,” he submitted.
