I should know 'cos I work there. As for the stress level, it is nothing more than what is obtainable in other banks.

Do not be deceived. The "powers that be" (u know, godfathers, tin-gods and their ilk) actually did the dirty works. It is not an Anambra thing, believe me. It is actually a political whirlwind that will sweep through' this country in the rundown to 2007' no thanks to the sit-tight syndrome affecting our useless leaders.

I'm not a prophet of doom, but I'm afraid that Nigerians are in for more political crises in the days ahead.

It's so, so sad what our politicians have reduced our beloved country to[shakes head sadly]

Sometime in August, this year, through this site, I got to know that FCMB was recruiting. I duly applied, wrote the test, went for the interview and was successful. I got my offer letter on the 18th of October after spending 2mths at the training school & have since resumed. I give God the glory, and thank Nairalanders for being such wonderful people.
To others who are still searching, keep the faith and your dawn will surely come too.

The bank will commence another round of recruitment exercise soon.I will keep y'all posted.

Had the interview on Thursday.The Hr people said they would contact succesful candidates thru' e-mail by Tuesday.
A 3 months training commences on the 21st of this month.
Hope to see y'all @ the training school.

I think duttybarb or whatever he calls himself is just an inexperienced, insecured person.I've met people like that, who think that the more the competition, the lesser their chances of scaling through.

Hey y'all,over the past 2 days,two rather strange numbers - 01 and 0911- have been calling me on my mobile phone, during office hours. The network quality has been poor, so I couldn't get what they were really saying.
Being in the labour market,my first thought was that it could be some corporate body trying to contact me.But I'm still confused because of the numbers.
So, has anyother person been contacted by such numbers, abeg.

I really don't know what all the fuss is for.All the people quoting that passage should read further.Deutronomy 22;5 is not just enough. How about verse 9 that says you should not practise mixed cropping.Or verse 11 that says you should not wear wool and linen together.Do you check for that before you buy that nice shirt? Verse 12 commands that you should sew tassels on the 4 corners of your clothes.How about that?
Galatians 3:10 says that if you are under the law,then you must obey every single commandment therein,or else you will be CURSED.
The question is;Are you under the law or under grace?
Besides,we must understand that the law was not given to everybody.It was only for the Jews,under the old covenant. The new creation in Christ is under a different covenant.So girls, bring them trousers on.
