festacman:This view is so awkward, for one the Judge didn't falsify his asset declaration. What was said was that some asset were not captured in his declaration. Why it is painted as fraud is because it is alleged that he has a Domiciliary account with foreign exchange in it and as such, he broke the law by operating a foreign account. Unfortunately in their foolishness they forgot that the law has no issues with judges operating Domiciliary account, because their annual estacodes for foreign trips is paid in dollars (if you don't know, know now). What the laws says for them is not to operate accounts in foreign banks....... There is a big difference between operating a Domiciliary account in first bank and operating an account in a bank in the US. All judges at the Supreme court get Domiciliary accounts, for estacodes, that one na normal. They simply took advantages of the fact that most of them just resubmit their already existing asset declaration, highest they change dates and send. A simple letter to the CJN asking him to update his asset declaration attaching the alleged petition is enough, but because they want him out, because FG has not signed the electoral act, all post election issues will be handled by tribunal under the charge of the CJN. The judgements of the CCT is a suggestion as far as saraki goes, if 2/3 majority of the house doesn't send him off, the charges are CCT were ill-prepared datzall..... Justice Tanko is the most senior judge after Onnoghen, he is from bauchi and is their person. Onnoghen is the first Southern CJN since 1987, he is not the kind of person that will accept shenanigans from APC, so leave all this theories. Danladi is a stooge of the FG, hiding under his own jurisdiction, SSG of the FG, else by now his career for be like justice abang own, whey dey give judgement based on whether E nairabet ticket cur, yes or no |
adanny01:False........This is the opinion the APC led government shares when they want to interpret the law to suit their political inactions. First of all, the CCT can't try the President and can't even try the CJN. The reason is clear, whatever comes out of this trial is a mere suggestion, one injunction from a high court will set aside the entire judgement like pampers whey baby shiit put, that is why Falana rightly judged it as a misadventure. It's like the nonsense Justice Abang did, when he nullified Ikpeazu's mandate as governor of abia state, on the stupid basis that he forged tax clearance. No recourse to Abia inland revenue service or abia state government who was his employer, you just sat down in your court and entertained a suit from an ordinary citizen on a criminal case and decided that it is fake, is it not the job of the state to prosecute such cases? Is it the job of a civil servant to prepare tax clearance or the employer - in this case a government agency - that pays the tax and collect clearance of behalf of the employee? By time the appeal court received that case eh, they tore the judgement apart, small thing they would have accused Justice Abang of collecting bribe. Judgement that a 100level law student cannot even recommend, a whole high court judge through interpretation stood the law and justice on its head. Shameful The only challenge is that the move to justice is a slow marathon and not a sprint, hence APC led FG have the effontry to bring it, knowing that even if the real trial fails, the media trial may succeed and cast a shadow on Justice Onnoghen, by the time the case is closed, some other national issues will distract Nigerians from this charade. Justice Danladi doesn't have jurisdiction and will be stupid to release any judgement whatsoever, he will simply adjourn judgement delivery and dismiss the case like he did Saraki's case. He will just play around with it and throw it out much later. You dey here abang name anywhere? When you start delivering judgements coloured with bias, you will find yourself gradually losing a grip on your career as a judge. That's the truth. Except you are dealing with a person who is just anti-establishment in political ideology or posture, no soud lawyer or jurist will applaud this nonsense. And I say it again, CCT cannot try CJN neither can it try any executive. Only 2/3 vote in parliament of competent jurisdiction can take out an executive. If CCT releases a judgement, the best it can do is to communicate it to state of federal parliament. They will debate its merit and then impeach the executive, only then can the judgement apply, if not, the judgement is not worth the paper it is written on. CJN is way out of CCT's league, watch, observe and learn |
CilicMarin:Bros, the CCT doesn't even have jurisdiction in the absence of any recommendation from the NJC. Danladi is not that stupid, the constitution is clear on how to dispose of CJN's, all this media trial is just bladderdash that has exposed the incapacity on the part of government to follow the rule of law..... |
mercenary:He is tried through NJC by law..... |
adanny01:Bros When the chairman of the NJC in the person of the CJN is under review he is by proper conduct not to participate in judicial review nor vote over his review, vice chairman takes over. He will simply absent himself from such sitting and not resign all together. That is the standard. Nevertheless, that is not an excuse to accuse and arraign the head of the third arm of the Nigerian government, the judiciary in less than 72hrs. For crying loud, when was he accused, investigated and arraigned for prosecution? The only Chief Justice of the Nigeria Supreme court that the south has produced since 1987, is treated like a motor park tout. For your information, police is under the Judiciary as an arm of government. The law says he must be exonerated or dismissed based on review/recommendations made by NJC, why will any government start doing all this rubbish. And they chose to use Justice Danladi, who went to the former Comptroller general of customs to demand #100million Naira bribe under Jonathan administration to try him. Danladi used restraining order to push away EFCC till date. It was when they wanted to get saraki in CCT, that EFCC came all of a sudden and claimed that Danladi has been cleared of all charges when the former CG of customs presented proof to the same EFCC of his demand for bribe and is still insisting that Danladi came to ask for 100million Naira bribe or he will have him charged to his court. It was when they charged Former customs boss to his court, that CG went to a highe court to get an order to assign another judge since he cannot be sitting in a court, receiving judgement from a justice who has a penchant for blackmailing public office holders...... ![]() |
gaskiyamagana:My brother if the destruction is the kind that ensure the pump price of petrol is less than #100, bag of brown beans in benin is #12k compared to #42k that it is now, bag of rice is #6k compared to #16k (whey people even dey talk say E don come down to #16k. Chai! 16k na down abi na up? ), dollar is #205 black market compared to #365 now black market, Motor from Mile 2 park to benin is #1,850 compared to #2,950, phone in callers on TV shows/stations can criticise Mr President without the station attracting #500,000 to #10,000,000 fine from bastard NBC under totori from lai mohammed the information minister. Where we don't have to be afraid that Mr President is a tribalistic fellow and not just President of the 95% who voted him in, where people are not afraid to leave jos town or maiduguri town after 6.30pm, Chai! Where armed forces personnel who died protecting their country from ISIS/ISWAP are not denied by their government. They will send you to fight ISWAP, when you pass on in active combat, today's government will tell your family that it was Okada accident that killed you and refuse to Honour your sacrifice with a ceremonial burial party or military aguilette and will give your family 48hrs to vacate the barracks. A government thatwill not signs laws increasing the number of years non-NDA graduates will be promoted but refuse to pay the amount they ought to receive and the military can't protest like civil servants. That will not blackmail judges and arrest arbitrarily and trigger media trials knowing the code of conduct for senior judicial officials does not permit them to speak freely to the press without running to NJC for permission which they rarely give .......My brother may that kind of destruction follow me, my life and my destiny. But if you are among the people that claim that 3years of Buhari is far a better blessing than the last few years under PDP (be it Obasanjo, Yar adua or Jonathan), then may the good Lord Run your life and destiny the way Buhari has run this country in the last 3 and the half years...... ![]() |
gbeseun:Stop talking brashly. The CJN is just one member of the NJC with just one vote. Decisions of the Council are put to vote. Its like presenting a case before the senate stating that the President of the senate is corrupt. It will go through the house ethics on committee. The report of the committee will be debated upon and put to a vote. The Senate President will simply exclude himself from such debate and handover to his deputy to handle the preceedings. Thats how its done. Stop typing radarada upandan, abi na you them send come replace MC oluomo seh? |

CilicMarin:Both bolded statements is proof that you have no idea what is inside our constitution.......... As for the soldier you claim was arrested, I dont know the facts of that case, so I am not at liberty to challenge/affirm what you have said. By your assertion, it means the police is free to investigate a judge's handling of court cases, based your own interpretation of the constitution and other extant laws without any recourse to the NJC. This is Naive, but you don't need to take my word for it, you can confirm any established lawyer around you what the established practice ought to be.....,.. Note that judges are not just ordinary senior lawyers but representatives/leaders of the third arm of government of our democracy; the judiciary.... |
CilicMarin:Bros even if a military personnel kills someone in or out of the line of duty, you dont charge to court him with his uniform for criminal cases. You petition the military, they will review the case in line with extant laws - existing in military circles - and recommend the exoneration or dishonourable discharge (dishonourable discharge takes the uniform from the soldier) and handover to the Police for prosecution. That is the established practice to respect the dignity of the commission of a soldier, a commission that flows from the commander-in-chief of the arms forces that grants him a license to kill based on lawful orders from his superiors. The same applies, tender your case before it (NJC), they will recommend exoneration or his immediate suspension/dismissal and subsequent prosecution based on existing law that guide their practice within the judiciary as an arm of government. It is the established practice. Trying to arraign a sitting judge in court on criminal charges is just plain madness gone on rampage, if not that justice Danladi himself has proven to be an APC stooge, he should not even be in the mood to entertain trash without know what NJC has said. It's that simple...........in any case, what is the issue? That his asset declaration didnt cover certain assets. Normally a normal productive human may likely increase in value, so as time progresses an annual review of your asset declaration is ideal. The provisions cover declaration before you occupy an office, thats all. That's why most public office holders do it once and use it consistently, just change the date and resubmit it for time sake. Someone writes a petition concerning some assets not captured in his asset declaration, an executive that is balanced/stable and not vindictive will simply forward the petition via the NJC copying him, asking to update his asset declaration details (especially if your own asset declaration is like President Buhari's own that has not changed since 2003). Then when he doesnt including those assets in contention, then you can seek his removal via the same NJC, because you will have established an attempt to hide some assets. Chikena |
GavelSlam:You obviously don't under a word of what he just said....... That man is the head of the judiciary, which is a third arm of government. If the head of any arm of government is found wanting, there are disciplinary structures, embedded within such systems so as to respect the dignity of such offices. Any attempt to circumvent/bypass such system, using legal technicalities by people who are learned, ought to be looked upon with suspicion. That's why most commentators make reference to Saraki, he is the head of the legislature, the second arm of government. If you dont want him, take advantage of systems within his own arm of government and rid yourself of him, but trying to use strong arm tactics to push him out sets a bad precedence. Tomorrow what if PDP wins presidential election and the next Senate president is from APC, you have successfully set a bad example for them or any other government to follow. Of which all this is a non-issue, if truly the dignity of the office of CJN is to be respected. After reviewing such a petition, a simple letter to the CJN via the NJC demanding him to update his asset declaration details will suffice, then if he refuses to declare what he has now acquired, then and only then can you go after him, but because they want him out because he doesnt accept nonsense from the executive is what is bringing all this rubbish. If it was Mr President this was happening to, you will hear their supporters demanding that the dignity of his office should be respected but the head of the judiciary doesnt deserve same. A simple review of even President Buhari's asset declaration will butress my point. Even within the armed forces the same applies, the stress of having an auditor to come and review your assets and assist in declaration is enough to promote certain inaccuracies but using that to vilify the CJN because you want a pro-APC person there is uncivilised. |
What is sauce for goose is sauce for gander. It was once said of this treachery we now call a government, that a man is presumed innocent until found guilty by a competent court of jurisdiction. This argument held sway here and everywhere else, where staunch supporters of people like Magu, Amaechi, Babachir Lawal, etc when they had petitions raised against them. The questions we now need to ask are; 1. Is Justice Onnoghen a robot or a man? 2. For now is he presumed Innocent yes or no? 3. Has he been proven guilty as we speak in a court of competent jurisdiction? If we know the answers to these questions, then why rant helter skelter!? If we cannot make men like Magu and Amaechi to step aside while cases against them are raised, then leave the Honourable Justice alone......Datzall Modified: That man is the head of the judiciary, which is a third arm of government. buharitill2023:No we are not. If it was 2014 the audio was recorded Amaechi would never have mentioned Buhari nor Masari (Governor of katsina state, whom he said he had been asking for land for a Transport university and Masari isn't responding to him. He vowed he will now build it in his village). Funny enough, katsina is now under seiged from Cattle rustlers and all manner of elements, provoking the governor to host an emergency security meeting last week. If you had heard the full recording, then you will have known that he was addressing young Decampees to the APC. |
END OF DISCUSSION! We listened to it thrice and we were just shaking our head, that wakanda foolish nonentity is this criminal call Reno?! What a mumucious fellow. So this is the trash he had his gullible followers thirsty for so long, so that they can masturba8 with it. The audio that he claimed will bring the nation to its knee! ![]() Total RUBBISH!
I guess you have no idea why he even posted the audio in the first place, do you? Reno first posted the first 10 seconds of that audio clip; his own way of quoting amechi's comment that Mr President "doesn't care, if you like abuse him, does he even read". He also said he was waiting for the APC crew to deny it. Not long after, Deputy Chairman of APC, Twitter and instagram Zonal chapter, Tolu Ogunlesi, said the audio was not fake, but that Amaechi was talking about former president Jonathan and not their darling Buhari. He claimed that the audio recording was done in 2014, during the height of the crisis within the PDP which led to amaechi leaving the party. He also called Reno a failure for trying to deceive Nigerians using audio meant for Jonathan to target Buhari. And the horde of APC/BMC zombies on twitter and instagram started ranting as usual. Those are the people that Reno brought to their knees with this particular audio recording. Now go and read your book before they do your own audio recording...... http://dailypost.ng/2019/01/05/presidency-reacts-leaked-audio-amaechi-criticising-buhari/ https://www.nairaland.com/4942477/presidency-reacts-leaked-audio-amaechi |
