The truth is primordial sentiments will come heavily into play. Some of the non Igbo supporters of Peter Obi will eventually withdraw from the campaign. In an election, you don't go to vote against someone, you go to vote someone. They should pick a candidate to support rather than saying they are going against BAT for Muslim-Muslim ticket.

It is becoming embarrassing the way they are bemoaning the APC choice when the simple thing is to pick a candidate to vote. All the parties have Muslims as one of the presidential or vice presidential party.

As at two months ago, the President, Senate President, Speaker of the House and Chief Justice of the Federation were all Muslims. Do they honestly think Tinubu picking a Christian for tokenism would change anything?
