CGMedia: Lawyers have started arriving the Court of Appeal in Abuja, venue of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, as the tribunal set to deliver judgment today, Igbere TV reports.
Our correspondent at the venue observed that several journalists and supporters of both parties involved (APC and PDP), have equally gathered at the door of the court hall, waiting for staff to open it.
There is heavy security presence (comprising of army, police, NSCDC) at the court premises, even as security operatives are taking their time to screen people seeking access to the court.
The tribunal is expected to resume at 9am as they decide the fate of PDP and its candidate Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC over the February 23 presidential election.
Igbere TV recalls that INEC had declared Buhari and the APC as winner of the election, having polled a total of 15,191,847 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku, who it said polled a total of 11,262,978 votes.
The five-man panel of justices of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, is headed by Justice Mohammed Garba, as Chairman.
http://igberetvnews.com/977003/presidential-tribunal-lawyers-arrive-set-to-deliver-judgement/ The third judge agrees with the lead judgement and he is adding more to the established qualification of PMB citing more precedences and evidences from RW no 2 ..an old man , 73 years old, a class mate of Buhari.. |

nairavsdollars: The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja will today deliver judgment in the case instituted by the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, challenging the outcome of the February 23, 2019 election.
The petitioners asked the five-man tribunal led by Justice Mohammed Garba to nullify President Buhari’s victory at the poll and either declare them the winner or order the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a rerun.
What is the mood of the nation? How will you feel if the court declares Atiku winner of uphold the election of President Buhari? . He can never be declared winner. If I lie ask Awolowo. Olu Falae. Buhari .All lost cases at the tribunal...Reason Presidential election covers 774 local governments and 36 states...Can 65 witnesses with 5 presiding officers be used to upturn election results in 10 states? Is the existence of the INEC server established? Atiku can't win. |

ejimatic: The presidential election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja, will on Wednesday deliver judgment in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar against the outcome of the February 23 presidential election won by President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC). Hearing notice has already been issued out to parties regarding the date. Will 65 witnesses with only 5 presiding overseers overturn election results in 10 states? Will INEC server that iwas not even demonstrated at the court be used to overturn the election results? Will perjury about location of results if it true not forgery of result be used to overturn the election results? Will supreme court overrule itself on the interpretation if academic qualification for electoral position? I don't foresee Atiku smiling tomorrow. He will lose tomorrow. |
