baby124:These are the type of intelligent discussions I had expected from Nairaland, but sometimes these other comments reflects how shallow in terms of knowledge and intellect the society is. To the point, these happens often in the west, Post-partum depression, but this is not discussed enough in Nigeria. Or she could probably have an existing mental illness. |
tonididdy:You have been obviously brainwashed. I know what I am saying. You are there admiring them while they are here picking the ones with the darkest of pigmentation to date. |
tonididdy:May be you have been brainwashed and your brain white washed or rather you and your family look like monkeys? Black is also beautiful. |
Father time calls and his hair gone. He is growing bald at an alarming rate.. The middle of his head is almost all gone. Well, he has 30Billion in his account, what does it matter? |

noisy45:Why have you people chosen daftness over Wisdom? Did you read what she narrated at all? When I move from forums like Quora to this forum, I just lose a lot of brain cells. @OP go to teaching hospitals and seek the opinions of experts. When you have things as sensitive as this, don't use this forum.. Most Nigerians are just advanced ignorant illiterates. You are not fighting any spiritual battles and don't waste your time visiting any pastor or spiritualist. Do go to a teaching hospital or read some of the specific more reasonable opinion some people are suggesting and follow a test based on that. |
This is where this bafoon finds strength; against his own people. When Herdsmen attack his people, you will see him and his other fat dosser from Enugu crying on national TV. Their strength will fail them, their feet become rubbery, then they will recommend prayers and fasting. Now, it's his people abi, he is now as bold as Super Ted. |
Institution of higher learning indeed! Still enmeshed in myths and fairy tales. |
It's already autum, how is it still "hot"? may be on a few lucky days, especially in Northern Italy. |
iyke926:Shithole country, shithole logic. Come to European Universities and see how girls wear lirerarily only very distressed short revealing hot pants with tank top to lectures.. And you know what, the lecturers dare not come close to doing anything stupid, they would regret it for the rest of their life. |
All I can see is the use of atrocious grammar from both ends. If I were the lecturer, I would fail both without thinking twice. |
Kpoikpoi:Shut up this Fulani man. There was a thread on front page a few days ago on how fulani guys killed people in Akwa Ibom, i was waiting to see which one of you will show up and condemn the act, I saw Zero! Not one of you "I am from AKS" people absolute zero. To think that there were multiple threads on this.. Do you know people who came with fire and brimstone, the same Igbo guys... From then I was really convinced that, you guys are just fake people trying to sow enmity between brothers. |
Ekpeitit:Abeg shut up your ignorant mouth. There was nothing like Akwa Ibom state then. It was a creation of your Fulani lords.. What existed then was the Eastern region. Just deal with it, we are happy with our igbo brothers in Akwa Ibom. They will be having a football ball in December with their kins in Abia state, now go and drown along with the 4 other monikers you created. |
Ekpeitit:Abeg shut up.. When we fought the war with Effiong as the second in command, what oil was in your land.. Oil oil that will be irrelevant in a few years not minding that many other Igbo states have this same oil. That being said, do you know how these communities that you the majority are denying their existence, how they feel.. I am having a chat with some of them from their Facebook groups, the communities are being denied their rights because people like you in the majority in the state that are denying their existence. That being said, why is it more convenient for you to research to know about these people than denying them completely? CC: kpoikpoi, Ekpeitit and Akponmfet are one and same person. Is this not childish? |
Kpoikpoi:Keep your stupid mouth shut, who is taking about Biafra this Fulani man. Even the people from the community are trying hard to make their presence known online to fight against evil elements like you trying to destroy their identity.. They know this and that's why they are fighting... I am having a chat with some of them, they will be on this forum creating awareness to fight against elements like you. Each community one after the other. They will create their thread to make their presence known. Your divide and rule will not work. Don't worry, they will all be here soon and flood Nairaland with their presence and let's see how you people will stand with your false narratives. Just wait... Kpoikpoi:Which is your great Akwa-Ibom, you people are just very ignorant. If not, you will know that states are artificial creations and even check Google, you will find the thin "artificial lines" marking this. Akwa-Ibom as a state can't be more than 40 years, but these communities and ethnic groups have existed for 1000s and years. They need to teach y I gijd history in school. There is a strong movement by the Ndoki people within Abia state, Rivers state and Akwa-Ibom to unite.. They now play annual football games, and organise other sports activities. The youths of Ndoki in these three states do have a formidable community and group on Facebook, Ndoki Nmanma nu. They are fighting really hard against elements like you trying to divide them because of artificial state boundaries. I will invite some of the ones from Akwa Ibom to this thread to destroy all these false narratives you people have against groups like them in Akwa-Ibom. |
Innovate07:What city do you live in Germany. You studied European Languages and culture and you don't know that swizz Germans and Austrians and some parts of Northern Italy have people called, "Ethnic Germans"? Deutschland or Germany as we know it, gave themselves that name out of pride, the name "Germany" as a country is a relatively recent invention. Most part of Today's political Germany used to be called "Prussia", they politically changed the name as recently as 1932. And yes, people from England, Netherlands, etc used to be referred to as a "Germanic tribes", it wasn't so long ago, may be about 1000 years ago their language began to split and became unintelligible to each other. Germanic tribes (like the jutes and angles) differed from Slavic tribes. Germany as a country is a political coinage which is different from "German as an ethnic group".. Get it right. That's why people in Austria and Swiss are "Ethnically Germans", and please do a thorough research before replying me. |
Psalm2423:Your German analogy is wrong.. Whether in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, even in Northern Italy.. They are all referred to as "Ethnic Germans". Even within Germany, there are different dialects which were originally unintelligible, even up till today, e.g Bavarian. Nationality can differ, politics, religion can differ but one thing they all cannot deny is their Germaness... Although Germany as a country out of pride named themselves "Germany" to rub it in, but they are not the only ethnic Germans in Europe. |
LegendHero:Did you even read and understand what I wrote? Pheeeeww! And for your information, you should be even proud to have an Igbo community in your state, Igbo as a group is wayyyy more successful with wayyyyyyyyyyy more successful, famous and popular people so, it's not as if one is attaching oneself to a very famous and successful group. Rather we know our histories and see you as brothers. Brothers that fought the war side by side during the Civil War...that's that and we understand this history and brotherhood. On the other hand, you can't change the fact that there are igbo speaking indigenous people whose ancestral lands are in Akwa ibom, so are there also ananng groups in Ukwa East in Abia state |
LegendHero:The website is an the old one, thus the last update was in 2013. The one on the gov.ng platform is the recently more official one obviously adopted by the new governor. |
Lastorator:You are very thick, if only you have checked the owner, you would know that the website belonged to the Akwa Ibom state government before they adopted a more official NG platform and the last time this website was updated was 2013 but that does not make the contents invalid. That's not a blog but an old Akwa Ibom state Government website! |
Lastorator:So you know better than the official government website? This guy, you are just thick and dumbbbbb.. |
otuekong1:This ignorance from you guys is becoming shameful that in this internet age, you can't even do a simple research. Do you know better than Akwa Ibom state government? Do you? If you don't then go and sleep.. A simple visit to their website would have shown you that they themselves published that there are NATIVE IGBO Communities in the state. Phew!! |
Lastorator:I'm beginning to think there might be something wrong with you somehow.. Or is it the shock of this fact which is new to you. This is Akwa Ibom state official government website, read and cure yourself of your ignorance. I'm beginning to doubt the kind of education you acquired that you can't even carry out a simple research which is out there on Akwa Ibom state govt's website. https://www.aksgonline.com/about_people_ethnicity.html |
Lastorator:Don't even act dumb, I mentioned Cross Rivers state.. The time you have spent wallowing in ignorance here I have spent one-tenth of that time to get infos about those communities and even met some on their Facebook page but you choose ignorance. How pathetic!! Go and do your research!! |
Lastorator:This is a proof of how poor our education in Nigeria is.. Instead of you to make some research on the State you obviously do not know much about beyond the area you come from and have visited. For your information, I know many igbo communities in Abia state like Arochukwu speak Igbo with heavy inflections and borrowings from cross rivers communities. There are several igbo communities in Abi LGA in rivers state, I know these communities first hand. They have a mix culture of cross rivers and igbo and speak a dialect of igbo. A lot of the communities even have "igbo" suffixed to their names. |
illitrate:Do you think they major listening fans around the world understand the lyrics? They love the music for the beats and all that tinini tanana baby o, he is singing.. That's about the only thing they understand. His music is international and he caters to that need, he is no longer your local champion singing to impress the local market. If you doubt me, just turn up in any gym and many bars around Europe..... Probably America too. |
IkalaiyeLOTO:I don't know.. I witnessed it first hand two years ago in my friend's case in Austria. |
Bbbwings:They are not bridges.. What he bit down would be used to prepare a 3D printing of his actual teeth in preparation of the crown. |
Hw should never get broke.... He fitted his teeth with crown which is normal but the preparations made it impossible to revert back to his natural teeth. |
