Embattled sacked Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mallam Lawal Musa Daura, is said to have allegedly stashed a whopping sum of N21 billion in his Abuja home.
A source privy to the matter alleged that no fewer than 400 assault rifles, including other small arms weapons and thousands of PVCs belonging to Niger Republic immigrants, were also found in the house.
The Sacked DSS DG is alleged to be engaged in dealings involving $21 million handed over to him by his predecessor, Mr. Ita Ekpenyong.
“Daura is also facing interrogation over alleged withdrawal of N12.9 billion from Pension Account of the DSS. He was further alleged to have withdrawn the sum of N1.6 billion from the N2.4 billion account belonging to the DSS Staff Insurance account by a relation of Daura,” the source noted.

All efforts to confirm the story from top sources proved abortive, as no one was willing to volunteer information on the startling discovery at the home of the former DSS boss.
Ekpenyong was interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters on Thursday in Abuja over how he managed funds approved by former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki ahead of the 2015 polls.

I expect EFCC to take a little of their time to totally unveil all Daura actrocities and nail him than just quickly jumping on the matter and ends up come out with nothing and case close.

You forget that EFCC has been on Dauras case for a while, one of Dauras aides and close friends was detained illegally for more than 2 months by Daura when he came out he went to Magu to confess all the stealing by Daura so Magu tried to get him through the former DG but Daura then sent officers to stop it.

The money he left was allegedly misused by Daura, they have been trying to get him to implicate Daura that is why Daura has been blocking the invitation.

He was invited because all the money he left was mismanaged by Daura, Daura was trying to cover himself that is why he prevented the initial invitation so he won't be exposed.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released Ita Ekpeyong, the former director-general of the State Security Service (SSS

Mr Ekpeyong was arrested on Thursday afternoon following a raid of his Abuja home by anti-graft detectives.

He was moved to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja for questioning, multiple sources said. He was subsequently released a few hours later.

A spokesperson for the EFCC declined comments on the development Thursday night.

PREMIUM TIMES learnt that Mr Ekpeyong was released after the EFCC agents realised he was unable yo provide much information about the controversial former director of the SSS, Lawal Daura.

Mr Daura was himself arrested after being sacked by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday afternoon.

I have been reading different opinions claiming all the failures of this government is due to moles in the government planted by Saraki to make them fail; so I have to ask this question as some actions and in actions of the President may be Sarakis fault:

1. I believe Saraki made the President take a very hard some say extreme stand against IPOB while treating Meyetti Allah with kids gloves and even defending them in some cases

2. Saraki must have told Garba Shehu to be using the term " Farmer Herders Clash" to minimise the killins by herdsmen so he can make the government look as if they are defending herdsmen

3. Saraki must have asked the IGP not to redeploy to Benue as the President instructed and he also must have told the President not to sanction the IGP for disobeying him

4. It was Saraki who advised the President to pick only his friends and relative into key positions and also to make 90 percent of security head northerners to make the President look like he Is loopsided

5. It was Saraki who told the president that only 5% of South East voted for him and 97 percent of the north voted for him, Saraki it was who taught him bad maths

6. Saraki advised the President to hire 20 SANS to defend his certificate instead of just applying to WAEC for a new one

7. Saraki who encouraged the president to look the other way when Mr Presidents friend and cronies were caught in questionable circumstances, Maina, Obla, Kemi Adeosun and till today the former SGF who has not been prosecuted.

8. It's also Saraki telling the president to do nothing about the illegal recruitments going on in the government.

9. Advising the President to keep London Doctor instead of equipping our hospitals and saving our money.

This Saraki is evil

If you really wanted to find out you would have gone to the bank and it will be traced.

It will still be traced when the sender finally realises the money didn't go to the owner and with BVN now your account will be flagged you will now be regarded as a dishonest person by banks and asked to refund if you refuse further action will be taken
I advice you refund the money and approach your bank there is no miracle anymore

The person may not have even realised they sent it to the wrong account, go to your bank and report it, God has nothing to do with this, using money that doesn't belong to you is stealing not any form of miracle
